Was the perfect house for family coming in from out of town for our son's wedding... great gathering space ..Susan was a pleasure to work with. Close to downtown... can't recommend it enough!

Hosted a gathering for my husband's 50th. Inside and outside spaces were perfect and had everything we needed. Convenient location to downtown. Quick drive to groceries, food, beer, and wine and spirits.

Weekend in pittsburgh

Perfect for our friend and family get-together, and very easy access to the north shore where we did a brewery crawl. Everyone loved the house!

Felt Like Staying at a Cottage in the City

Susan's place was amazing. Private and plenty of room for activities. Great spot to tailgate for a Pirates game, just a short cab ride to town. There is a great brewery (Mastic Trail) just a few steps away that serves excellent food.

Great place

Our family visited Pittsburgh for the weekend and we very much enjoyed our stay here. The house has a lot of room inside and it has a great size backyard as well. The house had everything we needed for our stay as well as has a great location not too far away from downtown Pittsburgh. Susan is a great host!

Beautiful house with a very green gorgeous back yard, with bunnies sighting!!!

Very well stocked house, kitchen with everything you need to cook, beds very comfortable with fluffy pillows and covers. We really enjoyed our stay, ping pong and foosball tables a plus. Literally 10 minutes from center of pittsburgh which was awesome for one of us who needed to put in a couple of hours at UPMC over the weekend. Will definitely return!!!!

Holiday family gathering

We had a wonderful holiday weekend. The house was clean and well supplied. The kitchen had everything we needed for meals. And their were plenty of clean linens. We appreciated the flexibility with our check in and availability of owner with questions before and during our stay. It was a great location for our family gathering.

Perfect Location for Hartwood Acres!

This home was the perfect location for our son’s wedding at Hartwood Acres! It was also conveniently located to anything in the downtown Pittsburgh area (we went to the baseball game!). The home was clean, had every amenity we needed, and the perfect size for our large family! Check-in was easy and the host was available for any questions! We would stay here again anytime! Pittsburgh family gathering

Perfect place for a large family gathering, in our case, 6 adults and 4 kids, 10-13. Children Close to the city. Lots of activities for kids (and adults) when not out and about - ping pong, horseshoes, foosball, boccie. Very responsive host.

Great for gathering with friends

Hidden Treasure was the perfect house to stay with kids, lots of kids. Four of us moms meet up with our kids in tow and had a wonderful stay in Pittsburgh. The house was so much fun the kids never turned on the tv and our field trip into the city was quick and easy despite the rain. Thank you so much for accomodating our families. We had a blast!

Volleyball Senior Nationals

we had a lot of fun, being a competitive volleyball team we couldn't help but compete with bocce, horseshoes and ping pong while at the house. The front of the house is misleading but once you get inside it's a nice setup.

Terrific Experience

Great location with nice extras for entertaining. Just 8 mikes from downtown Pittsburgh. I flew in for a Steeler game and this location allowed me to host a family get together long over due! The owner was very accommodating and reached out several times just to make sure all was going well. for our visit. Go Steelers!

Perfect Gathering Spot

This home was perfect for our needs. Family members from CA, SC and Scotland came together in Pgh for a memorial service. It's so much better to be together in a home-like setting than to be in separate hotel rooms. There was plenty of room to spread out, and a wonderful great room, dining room, and kitchen in which to gather. Plentiful linens, chairs, tables, comfy furniture and beds, and a well-stocked kitchen. Pristine clean when we arrived!

Great for friends gathering

A group of us stayed here and the setup is great for gatherings with a large common area, awesome patio and living room. Unfortunately the coffee pot was broken which wasn’t ideal morning one but our host was super responsive and offered to reimburse us for getting a new one. The only other issue was there was a toy box of kids toys we dumped out to play with and there was mouse poop in the toy box. We notified the host and they said they would be sure to have the cleaners disinfect the toys. Otherwise communication was prompt and easy and this was a great communal space.

Family gathering for niece's wedding 2022

I want to start off with the communication with the owner/host of the property. Always available with answers to any questions I had in regard to the property. Susan, if that is who I was texting, was wonderful. The place was great and well stocked with what we needed. Even had items we would have needed to purchase for cooking saving us a couple bucks. My brother, the chef, loved the kitchen and the grill!! The house was well equipped with towels and games to play. It truly is a great place to stay if you have a large family and want a great area to enjoy time together.

Large house for wedding in Pittsburgh

Had a wonderful time at the house and communication with Susan was easy! There was a road closure near the house and her instructions were very clear. 10 of us were preparing to go to a wedding in Pittsburgh and the house was perfect. There are 2 full bathrooms and 1 half bathroom. Enough towels and plenty of cookware and kitchen items for a very large group. Drive from the house to many of the locations in Pittsburgh were only 10-20min, very convenient to park the 3 cars we had brought (most of Pittsburgh had parallel parking). Thank you for letting us stay at your beautiful home!

Pre-wedding party

This larger space worked well for several family members to gather a few days before a wedding. There were plenty of rooms and beds (as described in the listing) as well as gathering spaces to hang out together.

Perfect Family Gathering

We could not have had a better experience in renting this property for our "Cousin's Weekend". Most of us grew up in the Pittsburgh area but have moved away with a handful still in the area. This home gave us then opportunity to not only come together but create new family memories by cooking together in the well equipped kitchen with a table we sat around, playing bocce ball, or sitting around the outdoor dining and living area talking about old and new times. The host, Susan, was also very helpful and attentive via text messaging to ensure we were satisfied throughout. I appreciated her so much. This was the perfect place that helped us have an incredibly outstanding family experience. Thank you!

Great Place!

My entire family and I stayed for a long weekend and it was great! Plenty of room for all of us, dog friendly and easy to get to! Location was great, short drive to most places. Susan was easy to get in contact with, but no problems throughout the stay!
