Auténtico tipi de tatoosh

El Tatoosh Tipi con bañera de hidromasaje privada - ¡acampando en su máxima expresión! Ven y disfruta de la experiencia de tu vida en nuestro hermoso y privado tipi de 22 'de diámetro, pintado a mano con un diseño ceremonial nativo. Nuestro Tipi se encuentra a poca distancia a pie del río Cowlitz.
El interior del tipi está amueblado con una cama doble y 2 cunas. El piso está hecho de concreto estampado de color terracota con alfombras acogedoras. Convierte el 'rudo' en una experiencia de lujo.
Fuera del tipi, a solo unos pasos de distancia, se encuentra su bañera de hidromasaje privada y la casa de baños privados con ducha, inodoro y lavabo. ¡Todas las comodidades de casa!
Disfrute de su mañana, día o noches en la gran terraza mientras se relaja en la mesa, disfrutando de una comida preparada en su estufa de la Expedición 2 con una parrilla que se encuentra debajo de un área de cocina cubierta. Beautiful property! Such an amazing retreat to a quieter, peaceful, slower pace of life. The teepee is very spacious and cozy. There is a small hearter and a fan available for use as the ambient temperature calls for. The bath house is amazing with one door/stall for the toilet and a completely separate door/stall for the shower. An instant water heater allows for hot water in both the restroom sink and the shower. The outdoor kitchen is a dream!! There is a mini-fridge and freezer, coffee pot, blackstone griddle with side burner, 3 drawer storage bin with a smattering of plates, bowls, cups, utensils, etc. An outdoor table has 4 chairs with comfortable pads on the seats. The hot tub is a wonderful touch and our kids loved it! It's a short walk to the river. We had fun wading around and exploring the banks. We didnt utilize the garden but it is such a sweet touch. We are used to tent camping with cots and roughing it so this was definitely an upgrade! We explored the Paradise area of Mount Rainier and it was beautiful. Memories for a lifetime for our little family!

Family friendly "camping"

Amazing space hosted by a kind couple who shared their beautiful garden and river access. Memories were made, and we cannot wait to return! My son really thought "camping" is the best, but I loved having the amenities of home making the trip far more enjoyable. It was simple to find, perfectly located, clean and quiet. Also, the bed is comfy & were picky!

So fun!

The location is perfect for visiting Rainier. The play ground, hot tub, river access and garden/ grounds are so fun a perfect added bonus for a family. The outdoor kitchen is amazing and I somehow missed that in the listing. We stayed in the tipi and were so impressed with the size and temps! Outside temp dropped to about 55 ish and there were plenty of cozy blankets for us and the kids to use. So fun! Would definitely stay again.

Don’t miss this experience!

This was one of the coolest experiences we have had. Very clean, host is very responsive. You can walk down to a beautiful river. After a long day of hiking at Mt. rainier, we loved being able to get in the hot tub.

Wish we had more time

We stayed here during a quick Rainer trip. It was a last minute booking but such a fun one. It’s secluded but in an ideal location for access to MRNP. The Teepee is very nice inside, they put out additional cots and had heating and a fan inside if needed. The bathroom and shower were clean and perfect. There’s a fridge and some cooking items with a kitchens but we didn’t have time to use them. Best part was the hot tub just outside the teepee. Our kids loved the nature paths and experience of staying in nature. Would definitely come back but I would want to stay in the cabins they also have on property, they looked amazing!

Fantastic!

3 nights and 4 days in outdoor luxury. The Tipi was spacious. The bed was comfy. The bathroom and shower were clean. Hot tub was nice! Outdoor kitchen was a great added bonus. Easy check in. Early check out. We had a great time, thank you!

Wonderful stay in the Tatoosh Tipi

The tipi, hot tub, bathhouse and outdoor kitchen are just as listed and perfect for a getaway. Host was very responsive during the stay. Close to Packwood and Mt Rainier we loved all the little touches. Would definitely stay again.

Such a cool experience!

This property was such a fun experience! The teepee was clean and the bed comfortable. We especially loved the hot tub after our long days hiking. Rob and Danielle were wonderful and so accomodating with a last minute request. The outdoor kitchen was stocked with everything we needed. I would definitely stay here again.

Glamping near Ranier

My boys really loved the setting and we would absolutely stay here again. The hosts were super helpful and gave us great recommendations to make the most of our time. We had everything we needed and even though the days were warm and the nights were cool we were always comfortable inside the Tatoosh Tipi! I

Tee pee stay

Great unique overnighter. Fun cooking in the outdoors. Thankfully it was great weather. The only thing I would change is the bungie cord on the entrance of the tee pee. I kept getting hung up in it.

The PERFECT getaway with all of the details.

My husband and I stayed at this property for the first two nights of our honeymoon and throughout our stay we kept stopping and saying "Wow, this really is such the perfect little place!" or "Wow did you see this little detail?!" The Tipi itself was beautiful, comfortable, and spacious but what really blew us away was the hot tub, kitchen, and beautiful access to the river. While the Tipi is on a property with other cabins, you feel totally isolated in your own little corner of the woods. The hot tub was a wonderful reprieve and it was so cool so sit and hear all the noises of the forest. The outdoor kitchen is something straight out of a glamping dream with all of the tools you could require and beautiful lighting for evening meals. Could not recommend enough. We plan to make this location a yearly ritual from here on out!

Glamping at it's finest

We had a great time at the tipi. The tipi itself was more spacious than I anticipated (there were 5 of us total- 2 adults, 3 young kids). And it was so nice to have a real bathroom and hot shower. The outdoor kitchen with fridge and Blackstone made preparing meals a breeze. The property is right on the cowlitz river, we saw elk tracks and blackberries growing everywhere. It was the perfect spot for exploring Mt Rainier as it's not too far from Longmire, Paradise, Ohanapecosh, and Sunrise. After hiking all day at Mt Rainier we loved coming back to soak in the jacuzzi. I would recommend this place to any adventure-loving family or couple.

Great Rustic Getaway!

This is the perfect blend of outdoor camping and creature comforts. We really enjoyed our second stay here. The property is set up nicely, with all the basic items you’ll need. We enjoyed walks to the river, evening fires, and hiking nearby. Danielle gave us a great recommendation for a local lake to visit and it was the perfect way to cool off on the 97 degree day! All in all a great stay.

Great place super close to the park entrance

I was super happy to see we were only about 20 minutes from the closest Mt. Rainer visitor center. It was convenient to get to our trailheads and the hot tub and cute site made it the perfect weekend getaway.

Our family has lived in the PNW for the past 23 years and in the Packwood area for the last 7 years. We are a homeschooling family with four kids(2 now adults) that loves a great roadtrip and outdoor adventures. Meeting new guests and seeing our guests that come back year after year is our favorite.

The views are amazing anytime of year here. We are surrounded by the Tatoosh Mountain range and guests can follow the paths to the Cowlitz River.

Qué hace que este alojamiento sea especial

Our property is set on six serene acres. A short walk leads to seasonal river access(most of the year). We have a large garden with about 15 raised beds, fresh flowers that guests can pick for during their stay(see Note for 2026). Our property has chickens, 1 Rooster(Bigfoot) and two feral cats(Old man Grey and Skinny grey) which guests enjoy.
Community Play structure for kids to get their wiggles out.
Private Firepits and Hot tubs at each cabin and tipi.
