Fabulous house for a family and friends gathering, lovely open living areas leading onto terrace with pool. Few minutes walk to beach and marina restaurants, 15 minutes into town for bakery and further restaurants. We all loved Pornic reminding us of a Cornish harbour town.

Family holiday to Pornic

The house is amazing, the location is great, 15 mins walk into town and 5 mins walk to the beach. Supermarket is a 5 min drive.Check in was easy, Marie was friendly and informative and available at any time. The whole house was well equipped for all the family, including TV room and full WIFI coverage.The pool was larger than expected and there was plenty of open areas for the kids to play.Pornic is a lovely town with a sandy beech, surrounded by restaurants and bars and a bustling harbour full of traditional shops and restaurants. Overall our stay was well above expectation, even though the weather wasn't great for a couple of days.

Family holiday Idyll!

The house is beautiful! The pool is clean and big, there is so much space, so even with 13 of us it didn't feel cramped. The beach and the town are both walking distance, so very accessible for grandparents and younger children! It's very well-equipped - especially with the outdoor shower for post-beaxh and pre-swim washing! Thank you so much for sharing your house with us!

Incredible property! Absolutely stunning!

The photos do not do this property justice! It is simply amazing. A beautiful home, very tastefully decorated. Every convenience to hand. Excellent privacy and security. The pool is fantastic, and the accommodation is spotlessly clean. Marie (check in manager) was very helpful, very friendly and a very nice person. She made a great effort to communicate with us (as we are not French speakers), and we very much appreciated that. Cécile (owner) was very helpful, with clear communications. A very pleasant lady to deal with. The town of Pornic is charming. Lots of restaurants and things to do. All the people of Pornic were extremely helpful and friendly, and made us feel very welcome. We will certainly be returning to this dream vacation home.

Attractive house near great beach and lovely town

Overall it was an excellent stay in a great location. Highly recommended.Very comfortable stay in a modern house. Well furnished in a modern style. Lots of space. There are beds for 14 and plenty of seating inside and out. There are suggestions that the property is a home and not only used for holiday lets. Many photos ( and car in the garage ) give this impression.The owner, Cecile was very accommodating in our arrangements.I assume the main visitors are French as the concierge did not speak english, Fortunately we did speak a little french so it was not a problem for us.For the cost of the stay, a welcome pack would have been a nice touch. Maybe a sample of local cheeses and wine brought with concierge at handover.The local supermarket was easy to find but a more detailed map would have been nice.Pornic is a pretty town with a market for buying fresh vegetables, wine, meat, cheese etc. and well worth a visit.The nearby beach was excellent being extremely clean with good facilities and no litter at all. It was in use until late in the evening the residents enjoying themselves. The very useful pool could have been cleaner as some leaves and pine needles did sit on the bottom. The pool net, robot cleaner and manual diving collected most of them. We enjoyed our time so much, we may visit again.

Better than the photos?

We had a wonderful family holiday and celebration. The grandchildren loved the swimming pool and the space in the sitting room for lego etc. Noëveillard beach and coves are beautiful. The garden is graced with mature trees and pleasant modern layout. The house is well laid out with large comfortable bedrooms and a spacious L shaped kitchen, dining and sitting room. The TV room is upstairs. We ate outside shaded by the 'fixed awning' - a delightful space by the pool. Is it better than the photos? Yes! Finally a large parking area. All enclosed by very safe gates. (Minor niggles: toilets need towel hangers and some soap dispensers. Clothes pegs and second airer would aid drying clothes and swimwear. The house is aesthetically coherent but black shutters have some disadvantages: they absorb heat and are dull when closed. Nevertheless the house is well insulated.) The best of locations - 10 minutes walk to the the old harbour, centre and shops; 20 minutes walk to St. Marie sur Mer. Pornic is beautiful.

Not worth 6 thousand a week

Not a very equipped kitchen, no bread knife,No wine/ bottle opener, 1 saucepan lid, the list goes on. Might not be good for English only speaking guest, No house instructions in English and communication all in French. We had to make our own beds! no spare bedding in case of kids accidents. Pool wasn’t 26 heated, it was freezing, we had stayed in a Villa the week before at the same temp and the kids didn’t come out freezing. Also the pool was never checked, not sure if it has a clever way of checking the levels itself but they week before we had someone in every other day checking the chemicals where at the right level. No en-suite toilets just showers. The house wasn’t cleaned to what I would expect, we had to run whips around the fridge, dirt on the floors and questionable stains on the futon sofa in the by room, that even the kids didn’t want to sit on. The automatic lawnmower was literally going all day everyday, we had to watch the kids didn’t get to close for safety reasons, which is a shame when they should have had the garden to just play and explore. Pornic is nice though!

Très agréable pour une grande famille

La maison est grande et lumineuse et très agréable à vivre pour une grande famille (nous avons fait dormir jusqu'à 11 personnes confortablement). Le jardin est magnifique et la piscine très agréable (si il y avait un problème, c'est qu'il était difficile de faire sortir les enfants pour aller à la plage!). Le centre de Pornic est à un petit kilomètre agréable à marcher, et plus près de la maison il y a de très agréables restaurants. L'accueil par Marie était parfait.

Amazing stay!!

Really really great property! So much bigger than I had anticipated. We did a family reunion there and it was perfect. Super location, walkable to the beach and little town. Highly suggest staying here!

Beautiful property

Up market property excellent location everything was as advertised. Any problem quickly sorted. A few more towels would not have gone amiss and wasn’t expecting to ke and strip my bed for te price paid The owners were very easy to deal with unlike VRBO and EURO ADSIST who were a nightmare and completely messed up my insurance and charged me twice for the privilidge

Modernes Anwesen mit tollem Pool und viel Raum innen/außen

Nur zwei Jahres altes Anwesen mit technischer Ausstattung, die keine Wünsche offen läßt. Zu Fuß zum Strand oder in den Ort. Gut geheizter Pool auch bei kühlen Morgentemperaturen angenehm.

Fabulous stay in Pornic, beautiful house with excellent facilities
