Overall good

I’ll list the “pros” first. The kitchen was stocked with all that we needed. Loved that there were two pools. The kids liked the tennis courts, the coffee shop was convenient and the folks there were very friendly!! We had great weather and we always enjoy Fort Morgan very much. The “cons”: We went to the vacasa office to get our check in “packet”, which was only one paper to give to the security guard to get a parking pass. We felt like we were given very little direction aside from that. We have gone on summer vacation every year for the past 11 years and have not dealt with poor communication like this before. Other little things that we “worked around” during our vacation were: The guest bathroom did not have a toilet paper holder, the toilets ran non stop, and the beds were incredibly uncomfortable. Will definitely be back to Fort Morgan. Will not rent from this owner or at this location, however.

It was the perfect condo. It had all the kitchen supplies that anyone would want. The view was outstanding. The condo was clean and the furniture was in great shape.

The condos in this particular building have the best view of pool and ocean front this particular condo was the nicest we have stayed in out of all the buildings at the plantation we have stayed in every building and have been there 8-9 times only complaint was only one elevator was working at the time of stay

Great family getaway

We loved our stay! The unit was very clean with everything we needed. Tim was attentive and a great host. Can't beat the view from the balcony. Would definitely stay here again!

Only complaint is that the floors were terribly dirty. You would get out of the shower and after walking around your feet were so dirty.

Property was extremely dirty

After checking in late at night after a 12 hour drive, we were very disappointed to find the property was extremely dirty! The bathtub had hair and dirt in the bottom on the tub, the refrigerator was filthy, floors did not appeared to have been mopped at all and had visible dirt and debris throughout the condo...while I understand being at the beach there may be sand here and there but this was not sand...it was dirty and alot debris. Bedrooms had dirt and debris under beds and around the dressers, bathroom mirror had what appeared to be makeup/mascara on the mirror, toilets were disgustingly dirty inside. We ended up having to clean the refrigerator and bathrooms ourselves before getting any rest that first night. We did take pictures for verification. If someone is being paid to clean this condo they may need to consider hiring another service. VERY VERY dirty throughout the entire condo! :-( Extremely disappointed in the cleanliness .

Enjoyable Family Vacation

My family and I have stayed in several condos in Plantation Palms over the years and this was one of the nicest condos we've stayed in. Super clean, a must for me, wonderfully decorated. The kitchen had everything you need in it. Accommodated four with plenty of room!! Balcony was very nice and the view beautiful!!

Fall break family beach vaca

This was a great condo! The view was absolutely beautiful! Hassle free check in process! We got in a little earlier than planned, and the owner was able to accommodate us with an early check in. We will most definitely be back! Thanks again for sharing your condo with our family!

Great Vacation Spot

We really enjoyed our stay here. It has a wonderful view of my favorite beach. It’s away from the hustle and bustle but close enough that you can enjoy all areas of Fort Morgan, Gulf Shores, and Orange Beach in no time at all. I recommend it if you’re interested in a nice family vacation. Also a must, Sassy Bass restaurant is onsite and wonderful!

Not Great

Hurricane Ida rolled through just west of us. This is not fault of owner of condo. However, he would not allow me to cancel or move reservation to different date. Others in condo complex mentioned to us that not only were they given full credit for their reservation but they were still allowed to stay if they wanted. And this was not just one person. There was multiple tenants telling us this. Plus there were supposedly many that were flat out able to cancel and book another time. This alone was very irritating to us. The condo itself was not in great condition. Cheap dilapidated appliances that did not work correctly. Broken/damaged/faulty electrical outlets. Cheapest garbage quality furniture they could get just to say hey there is furniture. Owner reminds me of a slum lord. Complex was nice. Area was great. My advice is if you want to stay in Gulf Shores find a different person/company to rent from. The price was not bad but there are plenty of others charging about the same whether in the Plantation Palms complex or one of the many, many others in the same area. So my advice is rent from someone else. Maybe try Meyer's Property Management and ask them who is best to rent from in the area.

Amazing

This place is perfect if you’re looking for a peaceful and relaxing getaway. The beaches aren’t as crowded as Gulf Shores and your typical tourism areas. The views from the room: AMAZING. The pools and hot tub were nice. The kitchen was fully stocked with literally anything you would need to cook and there are extra towels, blankets, etc.. There is construction still going on right now, but it really didn’t bother us much. I love that the price isn’t outrageous compared to busier areas with this view. Already recommended it to my parents and will be looking to go again soon!

Got the job done, mostly

The location was fantastic, as was the view. When we needed extra towels, they were delivered in a timely manner. The check in process was great. A few things about the unit itself: the appliances didn't work well (oven cooked unevenly, fridge popped open easily, mattresses not comfortable, ill-fitting bed linens); I think the unit had been recently painted, but not put back together properly, as there were many empty nails on the walls, the cable hookup for the TV in the master was across the room rendering that TV useless, and the folding door on the closet in the master bathroom was way too big and wouldn't come close to closing. There was a ton of construction going on, and pool/amenity closures, which I was not notified about until check in. To be fair, I didn't complain about these things during my stay, because I didn't want to have to wait around for people to come fix them. It's possible some of those things may have been fixed.

Summer 2021

Property was well kept. Easy access to the beach. We wish the pool area had tables and umbrellas. Pool was occasionally closed. Would be nice to have a working TV in the bedrooms. Overall we enjoyed our time at the condo.
