La casa cuenta con sala de estar, baño y cocina con una enorme chimenea de piedra. En el lado del lago hay un porche multinivel con bañera de hidromasaje y una barbacoa con vista a un muelle para facilitar el acoplamiento (rampa para botes a 100 m por la calle). En la planta superior se encuentra la sala de televisión, 2 habitaciones (una con cama doble y cama de día y la segunda con una cama king y una cama doble) y baño. El sofá y el espacio en el piso para colchones de aire extiende el alojamiento a 8-10. Todas las camas están en las escaleras. No Fumar.

Everything we needed for a quiet and relaxing getaway to Toledo bend. The hot tub, view from the dock, and the fire pit were standouts among the amenities. If you need a chance to get away from everything hustle and bustle and ground yourself in perfect seclusion, this is the spot!

The cleanliness of the cabin was excellent. The hot tub seems to be the teen boys hang out. They loved spending time outdoors. From the fishing to the family time was all a true Blessing. The kitchen had a good bit of things to prepare food. However, could use more pots. The cast iron skillets were very nice.

The cabin is cozy and comfortable.enjoyed the hot tub and fireplace. We come to rest and relax and that’s just what we did. Third time staying at the cabin and hope to return. Love this place

Loved the old world charm mixed with a bit of mid-century 1900’s and a few modern appliances. Amazing architecture!You should be sure to bring your own coffee cups, if you drink coffee. Also, the only sleeping options are up the stairs, so if stairs are a problem, this wouldn’t be a good idea. You should also know there are plenary of nice neighbors, so it’s not secluded. But if you go during the week it’s a great place for a quiet getaway.Now, the hot tub was wonderful! The view off the back porch is lovely. We took our kayaks and launched for the property. The dock is a great place for napping, or star watching at night. The architecture of the house itself is astounding! And lots of the decor inside is museum worthy.I took lots of pics, but this will only allow for 8, so I’ll try to choose wisely.

It was a fun time, the cabin was nice. Unfortunately one of our kayaks was stolen right off the beach. Very disappointing. Watch out for theives.

It’s an ok house with a gorgeous view. The house is definitely rustic and smells moldy. I recently had a fall while running that lead to an infected wound and surgery. The trip was already planned so I decided to recover here. All rooms are upstairs so having to climb stairs several times a day with a healing wound was daunting. The kids and our dogs spent most of the time outside so to our surprise they added a 50 extra cleaning charge. Said our female dogs marked in several spots and they had pics to prove it. Almost a little hostile. So… it is a neat cabin but owners.

Quiet spot on the lake. We enjoyed fishing and hot tub. Lots of character in this cabin. Beds were very comfortable. Would stay again.

Good stay

Nice place. Just don’t like you can’t use the boat ramp 200 yards away. They don’t let renters launch. You have to go to a park to launch. Makes it tough if the weather is not right……as it was during our stay.

Very Relaxing!

Cabin was very homey. Beds were very comfortable and the upstairs shower was amazing! We did some fishing and caught a small catfish and a turtle. The hot tub had a bit too much chlorine but we still used it and showered immediately afterward. If you have pets, beware that there are fleas in the yard and there was rat poison under furniture. A small dog or even a child could easily access it. I left a note for the owner and hopefully they will remedy this. Otherwise, this is a great place to relax and you won't be disappointed.

Quiet, relaxing cabin

Very unique and interesting listing. A lot of thought went into the cabin and we loved the quiet location. There were a lot of antiques and interesting things to see in this cabin. We only had a 2 night stay due to it being already booked beyond that. Had a great birthday stay, and this very busy nurse enjoyed the peace and quiet also!

Great stay

The only negative I have is the dock has no way to secure your boat. Improvised with the boat anchors. It needs a fish cleaning station. And electric closer to the water. After all this place is on the lake. Beautiful place. Very nice stay. We would definitely stay again ! Thanks.

Family Fishing Trip

The home reminded me of house sitting for a friend and being told you can have free rein while you’re there. The house was cozy and filled with beautiful antique pieces. I have stayed in multiple rental homes, and this one doesn’t give the feeling of a rental- it’s more of a family home. The AC was preset and stayed at a comfortable temperature the entire trip.KITCHEN:Kitchen was clean and was well stocked with everything you could possibly need. Again, this was like renting a family home- it had everything and more. We used the stove and oven, both worked perfectly. There was a full sized fridge to store the food we brought. Plenty of full sized cleaning supplies to clean up after cooking. BATHROOMS:There were 2 Full bathrooms- 1 upstairs and 1 down. Both were clean, offered more towels than I’ve ever owned in my life and had full sized toiletries. The water was hot and water pressure was great. BEDROOMS: 2 Bedrooms upstairs- both with 2 double beds (I believe 1 had a king). There were extra blankets in both rooms. The upstairs stayed cool and there was also a portable fan if needed. There was a media room upstairs with a Tv, daybed and couch.OUTSIDE:The fenced in deck area was nice for our dogs to relax. The yard had ample space for pets. The dock was great size and in the center of a cove. We fished most of the trip and caught a few fish. Live bait was most successful.Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would definitely rent again!

Nice place, needs some lights

Nice place, need some lights to dark for me. I understand it is a log house, but it could use some brighter lights. The bed was comfortable. The pier could use some work so you could tie the boat up better. Husband fell out of the boat trying to tie boat to pier. It needs to be dusted, and baseboard cleaned but to be fair it is on a dirt/gravel road. We enjoyed our stay; we were there for the fishing.
