Beautiful cottage!

My husband and I recently stayed here for a week. The cottage is beautiful, private and sits on a hilltop with a view of Flathead Lake. The bed was comfy, the cottage very clean and lovely amenities. The hosts were wonderful, friendly and very helpful. They had great suggestions and helpful travel pamphlets. We highly recommend and hope to return someday!

Beautiful and private cottage

This lovely cottage is so peaceful and private. It is perched on a hillside mountain overlooking Flathead Lake. It is beautiful and my husband and I highly recommend for a couple. Lovely amenities, landscaping, clean and beautiful. The owners are very kind and helpful. We would definitely stay again!

Wonderful rental

Great hosts, adorable cottage and perfect location between upper and lower Flathead lake. Only 45 min. from Glacier, 20 min. to Bigfork, or Kalispel. Super clean cottage, comfy bed and nice bedding. Would definitely recommend.

Relaxing Retreat

Extremely pleased with this property and host. Very comfortable and cozy. Loved all the decor reflecting the heritage of local culture. Our first time visiting Montana. Plenty of local travel literature and maps to help plan each day of fun. Nice place to come back to each day after long days of sightseeing. Couldn’t have asked for a better home away from home. Would love to stay at this property again and will definitely recommend to friends and family!

Relaxing stay

This is a great little cottage stay and is close to the lake, it has everything you need plus it nice and quiet. Doug met with us and had lots of good information. This is a definitely a must stay.

Beautiful accommodations and beautiful area

This cottage is just beautiful and it was the perfect for the two of us. Easy drive to explore Bigfork, Kalispell and Whitefish. Very happy we chose to stay at Fiona and Doug's cottage.

Wonderful stay at Flathead Lake Cottage!

The cottage was very clean, cozy, and decorated to reflect the surrounding area. Doug and Fiona were kind, a great resource for info, and all around wonderful hosts. We had a lovely time in beautiful flathead lake and being at the cottage made our trip more relaxing and enjoyable.

The perfect home base

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful and comfortable cottage. From our arrival to the very end our hosts provided everything we needed for a perfect stay. If you are looking for a great home base to explore Glacier NP and all of the other attractions in the area, this is a winning choice.

Best VRBO stay we have had. Doug and Fiona welcomed us and showed us around, explained what to do in the area. Cabin is perfect for a couple, well equipped, and clean. Located close to Flathead Lake and an easy drive to Glacier National Park. Highly recommend!

Peace, Renew, View

The cottage affords spiritual renewal by its location in nature and stunning views of flathead lake. A nautical themed interior is tasteful in design and thoughtfully arranged. Doug and Fiona are wonderful hosts, warm and welcoming from the first communique, throughout our stay and within parting words. During our visit we went to Glacier Park (a long day but well worth the effort, surreal!), Whitefish (love the artsy town), Bigfork for a easy hike along the swan river and to Northwest Montana History Museum in Kalispell (we are history buffs thus loved it). We loved our time in dream catcher. Hope the road taken will return us.

Dream Catcher Cottage

This dream catcher cottage made our dreams come true! Sits on a winding mountain path with gorgeous rocks and flowers! Able to see Flathead Lake from the porch. Close to Whitefish and Glacier National Park. The hosts were very accommodating and gave us some terrific information on the area and hikes. Gorgeous place!!

Fantastic stay at Flathead Lake

This cottage was perfect for us to spend a relaxing time in the Flathead area. The size and amenities in the cabin were just right. The quality of the construction and decor really made this a great place to stay - everything was high quality, clean and well functioning. We'd also like to compliment the graciousness of our hosts. They were very friendly and accommodating, and they provided tremendously helpful guidance and advice about things to do in the area. All in this was a great place to stay that we would love to use again when back in the area.

Perfect Get Away

It is a very cute, modern cottage. Fiona & Doug provided a warm welcome and all the little things; attention to detail and linens that you would want in your own home. We had to shorten our stay... wish we could have stayed at their place longer. It is located in a quiet, beautiful area. Close enough to town; yet far enough from any road or other noises with a nice view of the lake from the front window and outside on the deck. We enjoyed our stay and hope to go back!!

We are avid adventurers and enjoy the great outdoors. We actively hike, cycle, boat, kayak, ski and snow shoe to name a few. We also enjoy dining out, and exploring what the area has to offer, such as local concerts, art festivals, wildlife and dragon boat races. We moved here to our forever home from the East coast years ago.

We choose this property because it's on top of a mountain with a great expansive view of the lake and the climate is dry with big open mountain and sky views. The locals are extremely friendly and we love that the area has a small town feel and lots of wildlife. We are near some great lakeside towns, a big hospital, airport and Glacier National Park.

Qué hace que este alojamiento sea especial

We are very close to some other great towns like Lakeside, 5 minute drive and Bigfork, 10 minute drive, Kalispell 10 minute drive and gorgeous Glacier National Park which is a 45 minute drive, 20 minutes to a great hospital and 25 minutes to an international airport.

Kayaks, jet skis and paddle boards are available for rent at Somers Beach dock just a mile down the road from the cottage.
