Esta casa acogedora considerable mira el Océano Pacífico y está a sólo un tiro de piedra de la playa local. Los sonidos hipnóticos de las olas del mar rompiendo, el aire salado playa, un mar nutria curiosa asomando la cabeza fuera del agua, esto y más, todo se observa desde esta hermosa cuatro dormitorios y dos baños.

Tres de los cuatro dormitorios y los cuartos vivos ofrecen hermosas vistas del océano. Acurrucándose junto a la chimenea y mirando a través de las amplias ventanas que ofrecen una vista panorámica inspiradora del océano y con un poco de suerte podrá obtener una visión de la majestuosa manada de grandes ballenas blancas que viven en esta zona.

If I could give 100 stars I would! We used to come to this home year after year with our four little dogs. We had to stop due to their health concerns. We finally came back with our two little dogs to let them experience the beauty of this house and the amazing views it offers. This house is exceptional! Every time we come it is spotless and you want for nothing. It has everything you could possibly need. The owner of the home is wonderful to work with. He's very prompt and very nice. He has made so many upgrades since our last visit here and they are beautiful! This is a perfect place for a family or even two families to enjoy. It is worth every penny and then some. We have already booked our next day! If you want a beautiful home to stay in with a to die for view this is the place!

Excellent location! We enjoyed daily walks on the rainy beach—there’s a nice loop you can walk from the state park to the community beach access stair case. The spacious house provided a comfortable stay for our extended family. The kitchen is well stocked with appliances and the bathrooms are beautiful with recently updated large walk in showers. The gas fireplace made for super cozy evenings while it stormed outside. The view of the ocean was amazing to wake up to daily. My young daughter left a very special stuffed animal behind, and the host and property manager kindly helped us track it down and get it back to us all the way across the country, which we are very grateful for. The host, Rich, was very responsive during our stay as well for any questions we had.

Amazing view of the ocean from the house. It was raining the whole time so we didn’t use the hot tub, but I’m sure it would have been great. Single level house, which was great.

Very nice home and great location. We were warned about shoes inside and sand. There was grit in all the rooms and in the kitchen sink. The most troubling thing was the spiderwebs. Hanging in the family room and especially the bathroom vents. We cleaned most of the ones hanging down but we didn't do the vents.

We were really looking forward to expanding our group into this neighboring property. Having had wonderful repeated stays at the neighboring property, it seemed to be ideal. Unfortunately, the previous guests left an odor that could not be removed by secondary cleaning. We would gladly try again if the plumbing fumes issue was resolved. Richard has two potentially ideal properties to enjoy and the location and beach access can’t be beat.

Excellent location! Wonderful view! Spacious for family of seven.Odd smell was the only real downside. Once house was opened up it helped.Loved being able to walk to Nye beach and the waterfront and close beach access.Short drive to surfing!

Great view

Biggest negative from the start was the smell. We bought air freshener to help. We loved the view and outside deck which made the trip. Lots of updates needed especially the kitchen. We had problems with the toaster oven and would recommend just getting a toaster which takes up less counter space. Couldn’t figure out how to use gas fireplace but googled it and it solved the problem. I would recommend the place just for the view and just bring air freshener and candles to help with the odor. Or even bring your toaster if you’re driving!

Comfy beds, could use a deep cleaning

I was a little underwhelmed by this listing. Possibly because we ended up not having time to enjoy the hot tub or soak tubs which looked amazing. The home itself is in need of a deep clean. Not as fresh as the pictures looked. And possibly needing a little updating, especially the missing/cracked grout on kitchen counter was gross.The bathrooms were great and the showers were fabulous. All the bed were reported as comfortable. My kids enjoyed the speakers and having a dance party.

OBrien Family Vacation at the Beach

This was the 3rd annual trip to Newport,OR for our family. We travel from Washington and Idaho each year to celebrate July 4th at the ocean. This home, by far, is the best we have rented!! The layout of the house has beds at each end so some folks can retire to bed earlier than the rest of the family and the noise does not transmit. This is perfect for the different ages reflected in the group, 8 years to 76 years. All the beds are in top shape, which was important to us after experiences at other homes. The bathtub hot tubs were such a hit! The home is beautiful, clean, well supplied with even 2 washing machines and 1 dryer, 5 bicycles in the garage and 2 BBQs in the garage. We have already reserved this home for next year in 2026!!

Wonderful stay at a beautiful home on the coast

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful and well-appointed property in Newport. It worked out perfectly for hosting both my younger and grown children and their partners along with my husband and I —there was plenty of space for everyone to relax and take in the gorgeous views from many of the rooms.Next time, I’ll encourage the family to rent the adjacent house as well—having both would make for an even more ideal setup. The neighboring guests were great, and everyone seemed respectful of the house rules and quiet hours. Appreciated the quiet very much!We enjoyed all of the outdoor amenities (except the fire pit—next time!) and loved the easy beach access and excellent location.10/10 would absolutely stay again!

The Best

Stayed here on the family vacation. Dragging the west coast of Oregon. The house was everything that was advertised and even more! The dual bathtubs overlooking the beach were really the icing on the cake. We were lucky and had great weather, the beds were comfortable and the house extremely clean and well-appointed. Can't wait to come back!

We have found that Newport has a small town feel but plenty of things to do, stroll the bayfront, or the beach, go crabbing, hiking, golfing and numerous places to eat.
