Bungalow Redwood - construido en 1923, recientemente renovado

El Redwood Bungalow es una casa completamente renovada de 1920 con mucha luz natural y detalles de arquitectura y madera de época. Es un alquiler de vacaciones de 2 dormitorios y 2 baños ubicado a poca distancia del océano y del centro de Crescent City.

La casa tiene capacidad para 6 personas, 2 en cada habitación y 2 en el sofá cama de tamaño completo en la sala de estar. El dormitorio principal y el baño del piso superior tienen vistas lejanas del océano, el faro de Battery Point y las montañas detrás del Parque Nacional Redwood.

Construido en 1923, Redwood Bungalow fue renovado y el ático se convirtió en un dormitorio principal en 2019. Los pisos de abeto que bajan las escaleras son originales, el piso de arriba y la bañera con patas salieron de una casa de campo de los años 20. La madera roja recuperada se usó para gran parte de los materiales de construcción, incluida la cubierta delantera y la barandilla interior de la escalera. Las tejas de secoya se recuperan ecológicamente de un molino local de secoya de propiedad familiar que ha estado en funcionamiento durante más de 50 años.

La casa está convenientemente ubicada cerca del centro y de los restaurantes locales, y está a poca distancia de la playa en el extremo sur de Pebble Beach Drive (2-1 / 2 cuadras), Sea Quake Brewery (5 cuadras) y Battery Point Light House (6 cuadras) . Great spot in Crescent City!

We normally camp in the redwoods when we come to the area but decided to stay in town this year and are so happy we did! The house was very clean, extremely well appointed, and so cute. They have everything you could need and more which made our week so easy and relaxing. Great location for exploring all of the beaches and redwoods.

Wonderful weekend

We came here this weekend for the 54th Annual Jaycees Basketball tournament and it was a PERFECT location and place to stay. Everything was clean, the house was warm for us when we arrived and the hosts have been incredibly prompt in their communication. We will definitely be back!

Perfectly clean and thoughtfully furnished/designed, this home made our family vacation extra special. It is the best rental we have ever stayed at and we can’t wait to come back someday! What a wonderful place to stay when visiting a variety of Redwood National/State Parks. The home was extraordinary and appointed to such a degree one could prepare 7 course meals daily. We loved the house and the town of Crescent City. Kudos and thanks!

Wonderful 2-BR House

Check-in instructions were great. Communications with host was excellent. House is very clean, very cute with a 1930’s vibe. House is well stocked. Beds are comfortable and internet is fast. All in all a great place to stay in a good location.

Amazing house

This house was fantastic. It was very clean and airy. All the essentials were provided. It was like being in your own house. It was quiet at night, we slept with our windows open and I’m a light sleeper. You do hear the fog horn, but it was not loud. Awesome hosts, very responsive and caring. Honestly, we were sad to leave.

Super Cute and Clean!

We felt welcomed the moment we arrived and saw fresh flowers on the kitchen table and a bottle of wine waiting for us. This cottage has been beautifully remodeled, keeping a sense of the era that it was originally built including a beautiful period Wedgewood range in the kitchen and reclaimed wood ceilings just to mention a couple of things. Additionally, it included all the modern conveniences of fresh plumbing fixtures, dishwasher, washer and dryer, ample lighting, WiFi, etc... The super convenient location is only a few blocks from the grocery store and restaurants in one direction, and a couple of blocks from ocean and sunset views on Pebble Beach and the bay in the other direction. 10/10 would recommend! We would love to stay there again!

Excellent home, owner, location

Spotlessly clean. Immediately responsive to my needs - we arrived 3am and lots of back and forth as we were on the road. Everything worked in the home, it was beautiful and clean and loved all the touches. The guide books, maps, puzzles and games, coffee, pantry items, well stocked kitchen. Everything perfectly appointed! Highly highly recommend!

Beautiful House Close to Beach and Parks

We had such a wonderful time at this beautiful house. Comfortable beds and everything you need to cook. Joe and Teasha have thought of everything and were very welcoming. This is a great place to visit the beach and go to the surrounding parks.

Stellar Experience

The design, craftsmanship and attention to detail were so impressive. The wood floors, and redwood accents were beautiful. The mattresses and linens were all very comfortable and the kitchen was very well stocked with necessary items. The Wedgwood stove is beautiful. We so enjoyed the record player with a perfect collection of discs. The bathroom tile work was beautiful too. We took a few walks to the beach and found the location great for exploring the Jedediah Smith and prairie creek areas of the Redwoods. The hosts were very responsive to us. I recommend highly

Wonderful place to stay!

The redwood bungalow was a perfect place to stay! The hosts were very communicative and even checked in to make sure our stay was going well. They thought of all the personal touches! The kitchen was well stocked with anything you might need and there were lots of extra towels. It was one of the cleanest rentals I’ve ever stayed in. Location was great… walking distance to the beach or local brewery and east access to hwy 101 for an easy drive to the beautiful redwoods. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting Crescent City!

My husband and I wanted to show our 2 teenagers the Northern Coast where we had vacationed many years ago. Crescent City is dear to us and this vacation home was perfect. We will be back again someday!

Best VRBO we’ve ever stayed in!

This home was absolutely perfect for our family of four. The owners thought of every single detail and it was such a comfortable place to stay. We came to Crescent City to see the Redwoods and Jedidiah Smith State Park was our favorite! I could not recommend this property more.

Beautiful bungalow

Perfect Bungalow

The bungalow was exactly like the pictures if not better. Extremely clean and so well stocked. The little touches of fresh flowers and bottle of welcome wine was great. It is very peaceful and comfortable. We would stay again and recommend.
