During their 2-night stay, we met the guest and were in regular communication with them. They confirmed that everything was satisfactory, and no concerns were raised during the remainder of the stay or after checkout. We are always available to assist guests during their visit and encourage them to contact us immediately if anything needs attention so we can address it promptly. For clarity, a number of the photos attached to the review show areas of the property that are not part of the unit booked by the guest. We have asked Vrbo to review these images to ensure the listing is represented accurately. We remain committed to maintaining the standards reflected in our many positive guest reviews.

We thank you for your feedback and want to address your concerns and provide clarity for future guests: LANDSCAPING: The natural archway of hibiscus bushes over the entry gate is intentional, adding to the tranquility of the unit. We believe this adds to the charm and uniqueness of the property. The unit (and area's) lush surroundings naturally attract wildlife such as butterflies and bees. As with all booking enquiries, we confirmed you had no issues with this before booking (and confirm there is no bee hive near the entry or onsite). HOUSE RULES: Additionally, we encourage all guests to follow house rules for the comfort and safety of everyone. Unfortunately, many were not followed during your stay and resulted in the undermining of areas/fixtures, which may have impacted your experience. KITCHEN: Our kitchen is fully equipped with a fullsized range with oven, refrigerator/freezer, toaster, coffee maker, and all necessary cookware and utensils, as described. A/C: The window A/C unit is located in the bedroom, along with a ceiling fan, as described in the listing. LIVING ROOM: This open-plan living space has a 16-foot door that opens to a beautiful breeze off the water, along with two large ceiling fans. FLOORING: The unit features laminate wood, sealed wood, and tile flooring throughout. LIGHTING: There are working ceiling, wall, and table lights throughout the unit to ensure adequate illumination. OUTDOOR CHAIR: One Adirondack chair was damaged during your stay, but the chairs are not rotten. We ensure our furniture is regularly maintained for guest safety and comfort. ACCESSIBILITY: We ask all guests prior to booking if they have any mobility concerns and how they plan to get around the island, as the nearest bus stop (less than 5-mins) involves stair and short incline access. You said you had none prior and only mentioned of your walking disability upon arrival. We encourage future guests to read all reviews, host responses, and refer to the photos provided in the listing, which accurately reflect the property. It is always helpful to inform hosts of any concerns as soon as they arise, ideally on day of check-in, so they can be promptly addressed. We regularly check in with our guests to ensure everything is going well, and during your stay, you informed us via email and verbally that everything was well, great, even. Regarding our complimentary airport pickup service, we do provide a specific pickup time along with detailed instructions on where to meet the driver for your convenience. You was not in the advised pickup location and was unreachable via phone :(, leading to a delay. We recommend that guests confirm their international calling ability prior to travelling. For airport drop-off, we offer pre-arranged transportation for an additional fee, with a specified pickup time. We also advise of a range of transportation options to accommodate different budgets. Our standard checkout is by 10am, as stated in our listing. Requests for late checkout or changes to pre-arranged transportation on the day of departure may not always be possible due to scheduling constraints, as was your case. We ensure that each unit is fully cleaned before every stay, and for longer stays, we offer basic, regular housekeeping services, unless declined by the guest. These details are communicated to guests in advance. Please address concerns promptly for the best stay.
