El Lowry .. Un espacio de elegancia y lujo con acentos industriales, creado pensando en su comodidad. Suelos de madera maciza, obras de arte preciosas, edredones y almohadas de plumas y plumas, toallas de algodón egipcio, sábanas de 800 tc, Villeroy y Boch. Vistas al mar desde la parte trasera del apartamento y modernos baños y cocina. Recientemente renovado, cuenta con piedra maciza a la vista y hermosos muebles y accesorios. Un espacio impresionante para disfrutar de su tiempo mientras se relaja en Oban. Artículos de tocador / esenciales de cortesía.

El espacio

Hay dos habitaciones, ambas con hermosas camas Kingsize, mesas laterales (EE. UU. Queens) y una cómoda. Un lugar para colgar ropa y un portaequipajes. Ofrecemos ropa de cama y toallas y lo básico para ayudarlo a mejorar su estadía. También hay un secador de pelo en cada habitación y un espejo de cuerpo entero. El primer dormitorio da a la ciudad, el segundo dormitorio tiene una vista al mar en la distancia. La cocina está totalmente equipada con nevera / congelador, cocina, ventilador, microondas, cafetera y tostadora, lavadora y cafetera Nespresso.
El entretenimiento es proporcionado por una televisión inteligente con Netflix. Hay una pequeña selección de libros y juegos.
También hay dos altavoces de Sonos en caso de que desee escuchar su propia música.
Hay una tabla de planchar, plancha y tendedero, así como una aspiradora.
Alquilará todo el apartamento y tendrá acceso completo a todas las habitaciones y comodidades. La calefacción se realiza mediante calentadores eléctricos de panel para su comodidad. Hay información sobre la ciudad para usted y todo lo que necesita para orientarse, incluido un mapa de Oban.

The Grayson Vacation

Enjoyed our stay in Oban. The apartment was conveniently located in town making it easy to walk within the town. The beds were comfortable, bathrooms functional, kitchen very nice, living room comfortable. Nice to have a dishwasher and washing machine. Highly recommend as a place to stay in Oban.

We enjoyed our stay at the Lowry - very well appointed and convenient to the harbor area. So nice to have some added ammenities - shampoo, soap, etc.

Beautiful apartment

Mary was very helpful and we certainly appreciated the beautifully ironed linens and large eat in kitchen. Bath situation proved not to be a problem.

Lovely apt with excellent location

Superb location — easy walk to downtown shops and restaurants. Very clean and beautifully decorated. Parking for free in the back. Amazing access to hiking, lochs and the Scottish highlands. The one drawback is that the kitchen is not very well stocked for cooking. A few more pots and pans and Tupperware would be useful. Every day use glasses are needed (not fine crystal). And instructions for the cooker would have helped. Otherwise a brilliant place. So glad we found it.

Mary is the greatest!!

Mary was very diligent about contacting us about the location and arrival. We had a difficult time finding it and there was Mary at the door waiting for us!! The apartment is stunning and I want to move in.

Didn’t meet expectations

The Lowry is superbly located and clearly Mary, the host, has put thought into the decor. However, we found some of the online information misleading. It is described as having either 2 bathrooms or 1.5. There are no bathrooms. There is a shower room with a washhand basin and a separate WC with a vanity basin. In this room there was no extractor fan and the only very high window was sealed closed. We would advise that this is made clear online to avoid disappointment. There are many DO’s and DON’T signs around the property. We found these very offputting. The most intrusive to our enjoyment was that we were instructed not to open the blinds. which made opening the windows very difficult. We were instructed not to put certain glasses in the dishwasher. To avoid using these glasses we bought some cheap Tesco glasses for our stay. We would advise Mary to replace her crystal glasses with ones that are dishwasher proof for guests’ convenience We agree wholly with a previous review regarding the constant light from the bright security light on the landing outside the flat. This was not conducive to a good night sleep to the occupants of bedroom 2. The other flats in the building appear to have blinds in situ on this window. We also think the security light might be broken as it surely shouldn’t be on constantly? Perhaps some of the signs could be removed. This isn’t an economy 3star accommodation. I’m sure, Mary, that your guests can be trusted to care for your property.

Stylish space and great location

Mary was a lovely host and very easy to communicate with. The 1st floor apartment had everything you need for a stay in Oban. Lovely rooms, well equipped kitchen and stylish furnishings. Just a 5 min walk into Oban where there are lots of eating options. Parking is available on the street for a small charge or at the rear of the property free of charge. Mary was kind enough to leave a tea, coffee, wine, chocolates, bread and eggs plus various other kitchen / dining items - all very welcoming and helpful. I would be happy to recommend a stay here to anyone.

Well presented but not always practical

This property was very well furnished with hand made furniture and glass blown lights, expensive crystal glasses and leather sofas. However, it was not practical in many ways. The Venetian blinds in the bedrooms did not keep out the light particularly from the street lights and further light came from the communal light on the landing. I do not need a total blackout but expect reasonable darkness. This is the first house we have rented with no TV and only Netflix The owner herself was most welcoming, but 12 signs around the flat were not! Wash glasses by hand, take off makeup before bed, don’t pull up blinds, don’t hang up heavy clothes…. This is a rental flat in quite an ordinary block of flats which has been lovingly furnished, but I could not say we had a relaxing week as we had little sleep.

Stunning!!

We couldn’t have been greeted by a more welcoming and gracious hostess. Mary gave us a thorough tour of the apartment and checked in on us to ensure we had everything we needed. This property is top notch and our family felt as though we were in a luxury accommodation. Every amenity was provided for us, even pantry items such as delicious fresh eggs, milk, bread, and coffee. The apartment is simply stunning. Photos cannot capture all of the thoughtful details. Every room is more beautiful than the last. The town is full of charm and worth a stroll to visit the shops and of course, the harbor. If there were more than 5 stars, Mary would earn them. The best property of our holiday by far!!

The Lowry is designed with "natural" in mind.. wood, cotton, slate, leather, wool, glass and down and feather. The result is a calm and tranquil environment where you can unwind from your daily stresses. We know this because when not booked we like to enjoy it too. Artwork is tasteful Lowry paintings, interesting to the eye as everyone sees something different. Having had a love of L.S Lowry's work since the age of five, it seemed appropriate for our exciting venture to be named "The Lowry" giving me an excuse to indulge in his paintings. Set in a quite location just a five minute walk to all public transportation and emenities it is the perfect place to relax while being close enough to all shops, restaurants and things to do in Oban town centre. The Lowry is special and it has been renovated with no expense spared for you to enjoy.

Whether it be the paintings or stunning hand blown glass lights in the living room that draw you in, our brand new, newly renovated apartment will make it hard to leave for the day. Guests find themselves still curled up in the down and feather duvets until way after they wanted to rise in the morning. Our Sonos speakers allow you to enjoy your own music so you feel at home while away. Our kitchen is the hub of the apartment with soft copper lighting and natural stone and wood.. heaven here on earth.
