Desenchufarse del mundo puede ser excelente para la mente, el alma y el cuerpo, una oportunidad para recargarse y relajarse en paz y tranquilidad. Nuestra pequeña casa de campo roja es el lugar perfecto para hacer precisamente eso. Ubicado en una granja donde tenemos caballos, cabras, ovejas y pollos, sin mencionar la abundancia de vida silvestre, incluidos osos, pavos salvajes, ciervos, águilas calvas, linces, etc.
Esta pequeña casa de campo roja está amueblada y cuenta con iluminación solar, ropa de cama, toallas, dispensador de agua, fogata exterior. Hay una pequeña casa de baños con una cabeza de camping autónoma y una ducha solar solar.
¡No hay electricidad en esta cabina, no hay aire acondicionado ni calefacción!
Solo traiga sus elementos esenciales, un refrigerador de alimentos y bebidas, y una cámara para capturar los recuerdos y dejar atrás sus preocupaciones.
Hay más de 100 acres con senderos en CB Ranch para caminar o montar y explorar.
La zona tiene muchos parques y senderos para: pesca con mosca, kayak, ciclismo, senderismo, fotografía, etc.
Las atracciones incluyen: The Greenbrier River Rails to Trails (77 millas de largo), Droop Mountain, Beartown Park, Greenbrier State Park, Farmers Market, The West Virginia State Fair, Shopping de antigüedades, Mercados de pulgas, Lost World Cavern, Organ Cave, The West Virginia Festival del Renacimiento, museos históricos y bellos paseos por el campo.

It was a perfect cozy get away for me and my partner. The room was tidy and had inviting decor. The property was away from the city enough to see the stars, but close enough for city convenience. The host had great communication, answered all my questions in a timely manner. My phone did not get a lot of cell services, which was perfect as my brain needed a rest. A restful place to be.

This place was amazing the trails are awesome but you better love to walk. The cabin was perfect. The owners are very nice and willing to help with whatever you may need. The horses are great too.

Peaceful Paradise

I had such a lovely and peaceful stay while in Lewisburg. In the evening the meadow turned into a light show with lightning bugs sparkling everywhere. I drifted off to sleep serenaded by the sound of bull frogs and wakened in the morning to the contented bleating of the sheep. A wonderful trip.

Great break from it all!

It was a child and rainy weekend and this was the perfect place to hole up and ignore the real world. I wish I had brought hiking shoes to really explore the farm! I'll bring them next time! The cabin was very comfortable and cozy. The horses were great fun to watch. I loved meeting Brooke and hearing and the local history. Definitely coming back!

Perfect stay to get rest

After a stressful school year in the Corona Pandemic, I longed for a place where I could forget the world around me all alone with my dog. I found it. The hosts were very considerate and friendly. If you want luxury, please don't book. But if you want to take a deep breath, no TV, no technology, just you and nature, then by all means book! Btw, Lewisburg is only 10 minutes away and a very lovely little town.

Staying in the boondocks

Challenging to get there, only stayed one night for a Clay Walker concert at the state fair. Biggest downside is no bathroom or available ice. The toilet is outside in a porta-potty which is very inconvenient going to the bathroom in the middle of the night in the rain. The cabin is quite quaint and cozy. Enjoyed watching the horses and sheep next door.

We are sorry your stay didn't reflect our typical 5 star reviews. As stated, the cabin is roughly 10 minutes from downtown Lewisburg (Approx 4 miles and only 4 turns). This is the beautiful mountains of WV. As the description says there is a porta potty. There is no ice at the cabin because as stated in the description there is no electricity, though you are welcome to bring a cooler full of ice. Dogs are welcome with a $15 pet fee per pet. Our Own Little World

My husband and I wanted to get away from the daily grind and focus on each other. This was the perfect place to do that. The cabin was just as advertised and so cozy. The hosts were wonderful. They gave us suggestions for local attractions, and we enjoyed chatting with them learning about how they came to WV. The farm and the animals are all so beautiful. The location is just right. Far enough away from town but close enough to attractions. It was easy to find. We did not want to leave. One thing is for sure we will defiantly be going back. Love our time in "our own little world". Cherly and Brooke, thanks so much for sharing your home with us.

Not the best, not the worst

We stayed at this property during the greenbrier LIV golf event. Location wasn’t bad. The listing said that they provided bath towels. That was inaccurate. Bring your own bath towels and bring shoes for the shower. Also bring soak. It was like a shared bar of soap situation. My husband accidentally packed her 2 dollar battery operated fan in the car. She contacted me about it basically accusing me of stealing the fan right off the bat. I told her we had already entered the tournament and as soon as we left I’d check the car and return it if it was in the car. She was very rude and I simply will never stay there again.

You need to stay here

This was my and my husband’s first time staying in WV and we could not have had a better experience. We visited near the end of October and we got treated to the changing leaves. The little cabin is so cute on the inside. It was also set up already with little things we would need, like a flashlight, a lighter for the campfire, salt and pepper shakers, napkins, etc. Cheryl provided maps of the farm too. There are great trails to walk! There was a water jug and pitchers inside. They also provided the pokers to roast things over the fire with. The bed was also big enough that it fit myself, my husband, and our 3 dogs. The property was breathtaking. The little cabin is set up right by the horse pasture so you get to watch them be majestic all day. I also got to pet and feed carrots to about 6 different horses, the cutest goats I’ve ever seen, sheep, a super cute donkey, and Cheryl’s two adorable doggies. Before we left, Cheryl’s husband took us on a ride along tour, where we got to see all of the best views. There is a massive old oak tree that you need to see and there is this one spot at the top of one of the ridges where you can see for miles. Historic Lewisburg is right there too. There is a lot to see and do in the area. In conclusion, you have to stay at this place. You will be amazed!

Cute cabin off-grid

This is a great off-grid cabin, close to a cute town which has much to offer. Host was there when we arrived and shared some cool history with us about the area and places to check out. Hiking the grounds with our pup was nice, he thought the horses were big dogs and got really excited. Loved sitting by the fire pit before sun down and the sun shower in the back of the horse trailer is genius and worked great. Plenty of hiking even just on the property near the house. I feel like if you were doing a long hike and this cabin was on your route, it would be a welcome respite. Owner left some Belvita biscuits, and the horses came to the fence to munch on them which was sweet. One thing I wish there was: a table outside for cooking, we brought a small white gas camping stove and set off the CO detector trying to use it inside (even with all the windows open). Come prepared to fire pit cook or camp stove cook and you'll be golden. Also wish we would have known if the water spigot was potable or not, because that would have saved us trips into town for water. Great spot, check it out.

Awesome Gem

The owner was extremely accommodating and everything was clean upon arrival. The town of Lewisburg is really fun and there’s a lot to do. It was a great mini getaway. Looking forward to another stay.

In 2015 we sold the farm in Maryland and moved to the beautiful mountains of WV where we bought a 100+ acre farm and name it CB Ranch. My husband and I love animals and nature. We decided to spent some time traveling, we enjoy camping/hiking/biking/kayaking in different areas. Within a few years we found Greenbrier County WV and fell in love with the beauty and ambiance of the area. . Country life just can't be beat with the mountains, open pastures, forest, fresh air, clean water, etc. I could go on and on.

This property really caught our eye because of it beauty and location. This place is only 4 miles for the quaint little historical town of Lewisburg with fine dining and shopping.. And this area offers so much you would never run out of things to do and see. From parks to rivers to lakes, and rails to trails for outdoor recreation. And thats not to mention all the festivities offered in the area year round. The town holds festivals like Toot (taste of our town),and the chocolate festival, etc. The WV state fair is held here at the fair grounds along with craft, antique, car shows and giant flea markets.
