¡La reclusión es acertadamente nombrada! Este encantador y completo registro Sliding Rock Cabin está ubicado en más de dos acres y medio con un patio cercado. Con su propia ruta de senderismo y que sigue un sinuoso riachuelo, en la planta baja del sótano sin terminar hay una sala de juegos con mesa de billar y mesa de ping pong, hay mucho para mantenerte ocupado. En la parte terminada del sótano hay un segundo baño y sala de televisión. Para relajarse, hay una gran TINA CALIENTE, una chimenea de leña y un porche cubierto con columpios, YALA CERCADA / que admite mascotas, y una hoguera. Parrilla De Propano, Internet Inalámbrico

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We stayed in Seclusion for our annual girls trip and the cabin was perfect! Location is our favorite. Other than the driveway being rather bumpy, this cabin was soooo comfy! We used the fireplace all day, the furniture is dreamy comfortable, the beds were very comfortable, and the cabin had everything we needed. We have been renting from Sliding Rock for years and always have a great experience. As always, we were very sad to have to leave.

Sliding Rock made the whole experience from reservations to checking out a smooth process. The staff are extremely nice and helpful. The cabin was clean and had everything we needed. Our pups enjoyed it as well especially all the deer and other wildlife. Will be back.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I get upset when i book a cabin that looks secluded in all the photos but arrive to find a cabin next door. This is not that. Even in the winter with no leaves on the trees, you cannot see another cabin from the back deck or hot tub. There are other cabins around, you just can't see them unless you look towards the road.The fenced yard was a good height, and i was not worried about our dog escaping. A deer feeder is located on the other side of the fence, so we had deer visit until the food ran out.Everything inside and out was as in the website photos. We were very comfortable as a couple and our dog.The one downside was the wifi kept cutting in and out, so streaming to our devices wasn't working. But, there was cell sevice so we still had internet access.All in all, a very nice cabin and a wonderful stay. We will definitely be back.

Secluded cabin

Cabin is very cute and quaint. Has all the essentials stove, fridge, microwave, WiFi, fenced yard, pool table, hot tub and grill. We enjoyed our stay. Was very peaceful and quiet. Saw a family/herd of deer come through a few times. Definitely will be back to visit again at some point. Fenced yard is a major plus just know it’s on the mountain on a sharp downward angle, with rocks directly at the bottom of the stairs. I have 4 dogs my oldest is 8 years old and he had no issues with all the stairs or hill but if your dog has mobility issues may be problematic. Definitely would recommend this place..

The dogs loved it however be aware that the seclusion property has a fenced yard that is at a strong angle downwards for dogs who may not be able to handle that. The heat worked well and we enjoyed the hot tub and view. Would recommend to a friend.

We love the fact we can bring our dogs with us, and all of the special details they put into your fur babies. They always are so helpful with any questions or concerns! Just ok

Check in and directions were super easy. Road to get there was awful. Huge potholes everywhere!! Very secluded, which we loved. Backyard was sloped and filled with huge rocks but fenced in. Nice for our dog. Lots of TLC items for our dog. Furniture and kitchen can use some updating. Cabin was much smaller than we expected. Walked into several cobwebs “inside” house. Bring an extra roll of toilet paper, none provided. All in all it was ok, quiet and location was great!!!

The cabin was adequately stocked with things we needed on the trip. Dog bowls and a bed were provided along with treats. There is a wonderful view from deck and lots of deer. Everything was clean and ready to use. The drive up the mountain to the cabin was interesting. Be prepared for a challenge if you have never been to a place like this. The trash cans could be more secure. Animals got into ours the night before we left. The hot tub was clean and amazing to relax in after a long hike.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was our first time staying at "Seclusion". What a perfect place it was for me, my husband, & our 60lb fur baby! We spent 4 nights & thoroughly enjoyed every minute. Our main reason for choosing this cabin is that it has a fenced in yard & the porches are gated so our dog could run up and down the different porches without escaping while watching the wildlife pass by. Also, we love to hike & it was very convenient to hike within the same neighborhood where Seclusion is located. The location is perfectly nestled about half-way between Ellijay and Blue Ridge, making it easy to enjoy both places. It had plenty of room for the 3 of us. We played ping pong several times & used the hot tub every day. If you're looking for a quiet & secluded pet friendly place in the mountains, this is it! We will definitely rent this same cabin again.

Pet Friendly Cabin

Reviewer Comments: Despite arriving just before a category F-1 tornado touched down in the county (which left us without power/water in the cabin for over 30 hours), we did enjoy our stay. Bring flashlights!!! We sat on the porch and the dogs could safely play in the fenced yard. The cabin is nicely secluded. The road can be "interesting" to get to the cabin, but it is a cabin on a mountain, so that is typical. VERY dog friendly. For those traveling with your four-legged companions, I highly recommend.

Secluded and Rustic Cabin Deep off the Path

For me (and my dogs), the drive up to the Cabin was spectacular winding along a long gravel road, over a wooden covered bridge and up windy gravel roads to the secluded cabin. When sitting in the Hot Tub out back, you truly feel off the grid with no one in sight. The cabin is a seperate upstairs and downstairs (basement) but only accessible from outside through separate lock doors so I just stayed upstairs except to do laundry now and then. The upstairs is rather small but great for me and the dogs. Personally, I'd rather have Queen beds with a dresser than King beds without otherwise, very little options for unpacking bags. The cabin is rustic but quaint. The Hot Tub was a great size but was 108 degrees the first night (scorching hot) and had shut off before night 2. They instrucked me on how to reset internal breaker and I got the Hot Tub up to 102 degrees. The 3rd night, the Hot Tub had tripped again but would not reapond to the reset so I just gave up. I walked the dogs at night up to the peak and gorgeous views of the distant mountains. We did 5 mile hikes (mderate with streams and waterfalls) during the days. I used to hike harder and longer trails but muly 10 1/2 year old Shepard would prefer not to and, at my age, that worked well for me too. I drove into Ellijay for breakfast then returned before heading out to our hikes so got used to the drive up and back but be prepared for some adventure. Saw deer come out at night.

Super Dog Friendly

We had an amazing time at Seclusion!! It was the perfect spot for our long weekend! We looked for a dog friendly place but didn’t expect all of the dog friendly extras they supplied!! We brought extra sheets and blankets, dog bowls, crates, even our furbo so we could check in on our 3 dogs while we were away. Seclusion had labeled pet friendly sheets, towels, bowls and even special bed sheets with cute cards letting us know our babies could sleep on the beds with the sheets they provided to cover the beds. We were blown away by the comforting space and supplies they provided. We have talked multiple times since leaving about how much we would love to stay at this property again! It’s very “secluded” 😂, you won’t want to leave, so get groceries before you make your way up to this perfect dog friendly home. We couldn’t have been happier with this property and the effort put forth to make sure we were safe and happy during our stay. (We were texted to tell us rain/bad weather was expected on our drive up! That was so helpful to prepare for our arrival!) We can’t wait to visit again! ❤️

Hiking weekend

This cabin was a great place to stay for a family hiking weekend away from Atlanta with our two daughters and two dogs. Cozy kitchen, hot tub, great view! Everything we needed. The decks and backyard are perfect for traveling with dogs as it is all completely contained, so that they can roam the property without worry. This was the main reason we chose this property and it did not disappoint. If you aren't used to driving the narrower, unpaved mountain roads, I would advise getting there during daylight for easier navigation. But that goes for all the cabins in the general area, not just this particular cabin. I'm not sure who decorated the cabin (which we appreciated), but to whomever added the "Let's roll" sign, I send a toast to you!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have been repeat visitors to various Sliding Rock Cabins in Ellijay for the better part of 10 years now. This cabin is cozy, well-situated, reasonably easy to reach, and quiet. The only "down-side" is that the kitchen is very dated and in need of an update/upgrade. The windows are quite drafty and you can feel the cold air entering the house, those could be improved upon.
