Ubicada justo al lado del patio y la cochera de la "Casa Principal" del anfitrión, esta Casa de Huéspedes "jardín" se ubica en 1. 7 acres de propiedad cercada / cerrada en el histórico vecindario de Sterling Grove, cerca del centro (a 3 cuadras) de Lafayette. Acogedora, decorada con buen gusto y práctica, esta casa de campo (aire acondicionado / calefacción central) tiene 3 dormitorios y un baño (solo ducha), espacio den con asientos en la mesa para 4 (sillas adicionales disponibles) y un sofá cama Queen seccional con funda, cocina de cocina completamente equipada ( con utensilios de cocina, utensilios / especias / aceites básicos / papel de aluminio, etc.), lavadora / secadora / plancha, Wifi de alta velocidad, 4 televisores (3 Smart), XBOX 360, sistema de alarma separado. Estacionamiento cubierto fuera de la calle disponible para un vehículo (espacio adicional está disponible pero no cubierto). Los huéspedes pueden usar el patio con parrilla que se encuentra entre la cabaña y la casa principal, así como los dos goles de baloncesto justo al lado de la cochera y la mesa de ping pong al aire libre. Anteriormente un estudio de artista rústico para el propietario anterior, esta casa de campo, aunque no es histórica en sí misma, complementa la casa principal de 1901 que figura en el Registro Histórico de Natlional, y ha sido modificada para acomodar hasta 6 invitados idealmente, y 8 si usa un sofá cama en guarida.

Just Beautiful

This house is fabulous, from the grounds to the pool to the furnishings. It easily accommodated 11 of us (we also rented the cottage) and was, surprisingly, very quiet. It is an older house, but has been beautifully updated. Bathroom counter space was a challenge and some of the tubs (claw foot) required stepping up, but there is a walk in shower in the master so it was all good. The location was perfect as we took several day trips and were able to get right on the interstate or local highways to take us where we n

Beautiful Home

We stayed with 9 folks and two of them being kiddos 1 & 3! It was an absolutely lovely home. We felt safe while staying here. We had the house and cottage and both were so well decorated with plenty of amenities. Plenty of toys to keep kids busy. My daughter was in heaven with all the American Girl doll toys. There was plenty of space plus some for our families. The house is well decorated and well equipped. We didn’t want for anything. Unfortunately due to rain we didn’t get to enjoy the beautiful pool or sitting areas outside. Ashley was a wonderful attentive host.

Wonderful Weekend

We were in town for our niece's wedding and this was the perfect place to stay! We were just minutes away from all of the festivities. Ashley is a wonderful host and made everything so easy. Will be staying here again when we come to Lafayette.

Wedding Bells

We rented Ashley's lovely house for our Daughter's wedding at Maison Mouton and reception held at the John Nickerson House. Ashley was simply amazing as a host and we really appreciated how nice her home and the cottage is designed. We had a full house and full cottage. Very Nice Stay in Lafayette

Place was incredibly clean and neat. Well furnished and very comfortable and safe. Owner was great to deal with. Yard is wonderful, but unfortunately it rained when we were there. Excellent parking. Lots of games to keep all busy. Satellite TV was a bit sketchy probably due to rain. We had 4 adults so only one bathroom was inconvenient, but not a deal killer. Beds and bedding were EXTREMELY comfortable. Kitchen is small but well equipped. Would have liked a garbage disposal, again not a deal killer. You'll enjoy your stay. The house and how it's furnished well overcomes any shortcomings. Would definitely stay again.

great garden

This is the guest cottage, next to the main house, yet feels private. It is in the middle of a beautiful garden. The unit was clean. Washer/dryer/fridge are new&modern. Kitchen is well equipped. The neighborhood felt a bit unsafe, especially at night. The property and its carports are fenced from the street.

A perfect oasis in Acadiana! Five stars!

We absolutely loved staying here. Ashley was wonderful and very welcoming. The guest house was immaculate and just charming. We will definitely be back.

Loved our stay and enjoyed the fire pit. Location was great for convenience to Lafayette activities.Disappointed with size of bathroom and would have appreciated solid doors for privacy instead of louvre doors- but we are good friends so handled it just fine.

Weekend in LA

The cottage was perfect for our family! Our kiddos are really young adults and the cottage was perfect. The basketball hoop and table tennis for the boys was huge for us. We were in town for a wedding from Thursday-Sunday and had lots of down time, at odd times. The cottage was perfect for the boys to play basketball outside and burn off energy, not be cooped up in a hotel room- we/they LOVED this! The cottage is perfectly setup- each bedroom has a tv and Ashley has thought of all the little details. We had games at night to play as a family. The sofa is nice and big so that we could all be together in one room. Each room was beautiful! There is a little pond outside of the bedroom that is all windows that is so peaceful. Beds were comfy. Location was great, we easily accessed anywhere we needed to be. We will definitely stay again if we have the chance to go back. Thank you Ashley!!

Wedding weekend

This property is absolutely gorgeous!! Ashley is an outstanding hostess! We rented the property for my daughter”s wedding weekend. The cottage was comfortable and beautifully decorated. We also rented the big house which was also on the property. The experience was just wonderful Ashley greeted us with a huge smile and a beautiful charcuterie board which we all enjoyed along with some wine. I would definitely recommend this property for a family gathering. I hope to visit this beautiful property again. The hostess is just amazing!

Incredible Cottage!

My family rented this cottage and the main house for a large family gathering. It is an amazing property, beautifully decorated with lush landscaping. The owner is very gracious, and overall the stay was above all expectations.

Very satisfied with the cottage

Loved the property, the cottage was very nice and homey (if that’s a word). Loved the decor! Location was great. Property owner Mrs. Ashley seemed very nice, communicated great with me. Overall loved the hospitality! If possible we’ll be staying there again for next years Bayou roundup car show.
