Cabina MacLeod en Scottish Woods

El MacLeod es nuestra otra cabina de un dormitorio. Un modelo de esta cabina fue escrito en la revista Log Homes. Cuenta con una chimenea de piedra, techo abierto, gran porche y una terraza. Tiene capacidad para un jacuzzi privado, parrilla de gas y un par de rockeros Amish. El amplio espacio para comer de la cocina está rodeado por tres lados por ventanas para aprovechar las vistas, los amaneceres, los ciervos en el prado debajo, la luna que sube sobre la montaña, etc. También hay un ventilador en el techo montado en la viga expuesta, y antigüedades que cuelgan del techo de madera.

Se diferencia principalmente de MacDonald en que tiene un dormitorio tipo loft con vista a una chimenea natural y la bañera de hidromasaje en la parte abierta de la cubierta. Al igual que con todas nuestras cabinas, cuenta con calefacción y aire acondicionado para su comodidad personal.

La sala de estar ofrece un Smart TV con Roku TV y un reproductor de Blu Ray. También proporcionamos Internet de alta velocidad a través de su propia red privada con contraseña. Utilice la cocina totalmente equipada para preparar lo que dicten sus talentos o deseos.

Nos esforzamos por brindar un ambiente tan cálido y personal como su propia casa.

Beautiful, quiet getaway

We had a super tranquil visit to the cabin. It offered solitude and quiet which is exactly what we needed! The porch, view, and hot tub were ideal. The hose was readily available and answers all questions timely. We will return!

The cabin was very cozy and the property offered the tranquility we needed. The property manager was extremely friendly and quick to respond. Our only regret is that we didn't have more time.

Really awesome sits alone at end of property on a hill overlooking a mountain meadow with a hot tub and view…topped off by a real fireplace if the nights are cool. Really well kept and great communication with the owner/host!

Peace and Quiet

We wanted a peaceful and quiet weekend getaway and that is exactly what we got. Even the power being out for a little while due to a storm wasn’t a bad thing. Our gracious host brought extra candles just in case we needed them…we didn’t because the power came back in but it was a kind gesture.

This was a nice little gem!

The listing is up to date and accurate. Plenty of privacy, but so close to Blairsville, Murphy and so much more. There are plenty of quick hikes such as DeSota Falls!

Amazingly peaceful getaway

Everything was wonderful. Very clean place inside and out. It was thoroughly stocked with toiletries on arrival, too. The cabin is a bit off the road so it's very peaceful. We really enjoyed the wood fireplace and hot tub. The decorations in the cabin were unique and gave the cabin a home type feeling. We definitely would book again in the future!

Weekend getaway

Quiet, quaint and clean! Would definitely stay again when a relaxing weekend getaway is in order. The hot tub was wonderful, and aside from a little dust here and there, the cabin was very clean. Kitchen has the basics, but if you plan on cooking (we didn't) you might want to bring a few of your personal essentials. My only real complaint is the water pressure in the shower, as it took a few minutes to rinse my hair. The cabin next door was occupied, and while it's very close, we never saw or heard another person our entire stay. All in all, a nice, relaxing weekend!

Great stay

Overall was a great place with lots of deer roaming. Only issue I had was getting stung by a yellow jacket while laying in the bed. Coke to find out there was a nest down stairs in the window.

what a cabin should be....

This is such a perfect lil cabin.We just loved it.so cozy and warm feeling.Everything was all there that we needed.Loved the wood burning fireplace!Those are so hard to find these days in cabin rentals.The front porch was lovely to sit on and look at all of the fall colors in the trees while drinking our coffee.Everyday,we were greeted by a family of deer at our cabin which was lovely.Whoever stays here will be so lucky and you will not want to leave.

Beautiful cabin in the woods

The cabin was exactly what we wanted. A retreat in the mountains for the weekend. It was also close to the casino and hiking in the area so we had a great time. The kitchen was fully kitted out with everything you would need and the gas grill and hot tub were in perfect working order.

Great place for a quiet getaway

We visited in early October of 2022. The leaves were changing colors, the temperature was cool but not too cold. We even got to light a fire and make s’mores! The hot tub on the deck was ready to go. All we had to do was take off the cover and turn on the jets, then replace the cover when we were ready to go back inside. On Friday night, we had a great dinner at Brothers at Willow Ranch, in Young Harris, GA. Saturday night we picked up pizza from Cuzzino’s Pizza, in Murphy, NC. We can recommend both! There were a few different events going on in the surrounding area. We wound up visiting an arts and crafts festival at the John Campbell Folk School. The cabin itself was equipped as advertised. The kitchen had a tove/oven, microwave, fridge/freezer, drip coffee maker, plates, cups, silverware, and cookware. Some of the pans had seen better days, but it didn’t stop us from cooking bacon to go with the fruit and pastries we had picked up at the grocery store. There was central air for heating and cooling, and there was a dehumidifier (I think?) running when we arrived. We turned that off during our visit because it was a little noisy, but turned it back on again when we left. We also wound up just turning off the A/C, simply because the temperatures were so mild during our visit. It was pretty cool on Saturday night, but we had a fire going, and it stayed pleasantly warm upstairs where the bed is. The “front” of the cabin faces out into the forest on a steep mountain slope. We could hear water flowing in a stream down below, but the trees were too thick and still too leafy to get a glimpse of it. There is another cabin nearby, but not super close, and there wasn’t really any direct view from one to the other that we could notice. A couple of things to be aware of: the last part of the road to the cabin is a one-way gravel road. It was no problem for our Kia Sedona minivan. Also, the “driveway” ends right next to the cabin. It looks like it continues back around to the main road, but it becomes much more narrow, and there is a sign that says “Golf Carts Only”. There’s also not a lot of room to turn your vehicle around if you don’t want to back out, but we did manage it.

The scottish woods Mac cleod cabin.

Quaint little cabin. Quiet and relaxing. Not too far off the beaten path. Cell phone service spotty at cabin site, but wifi and roku tv included. Would recommend as a place to stay if you are in the area.
