Esta es una cabaña frente al lago con una playa privada, ideal para nadar, pescar, pasear en bote, y tendrá uso de 2 kayaks durante su estancia. Es muy fácil llegar a la cabaña, lejos de las multitudes pero al mismo tiempo cerca de la ciudad. Está en una pequeña península, por lo que, en esencia, tiene una vista completa y acceso al lago frente a la cabaña (este) y vistas del agua detrás de usted (oeste). Ven a ver a los bribones y las águilas bucear en busca de peces y, a veces, echar un vistazo a nuestra nutria. Si tiene un bote, ¡un embarcadero se encuentra a poca distancia! Tranquilo, tranquilo, excelente lugar para vacacionar y escaparse sin dejar de estar a 7 millas de las tiendas del centro, el centro comercial, los teatros, los restaurantes y el aeropuerto. Esta espaciosa casa de campo incluye una barbacoa, chimenea, DVD, WiFi, juegos de mesa, cafetera Keurig, cocina completa, microondas, ropa de cama y ropa de cama. Beautiful cottage and wonderful hosts!

We really enjoyed our experience in Maine. Ambie & Dana helped make our stay a truly memorable one! The private beach, the firewood, the hospitality, all the recommendations, the cottage, and the extra accommodations made this a truly exceptional place to stay! A beautiful week on Pushaw

We had a great week. The cottage was very comfortable and exactly as represented in the pictures. The private beach with kayaks was a nice bonus. The Floods, who live next door, were responsive but not intrusive making a very comfortable stay. Lots of birds to watch, both song birds and water fowl. Thanks to the Floods for a great week.

Beautiful Lakefront

Beach is a little slice of heaven. The water is great for swimming especially with a family, as it is very gradual. So many fish, great for snorkeling as well as fishing right around the bend. There was also so much wildlife around and the house sits on a dead end street (with water on both sides!) so its very quiet road, great for walking our daughter in her stroller especially during sunset!

Wonderful lakeside cottage!

We had 3 wonderful weeks at this lovely cottage. We found it very clean and well stocked with everything we needed. The owners were very friendly and responsive. We loved relaxing on the private beach and kayaking on the lake. The central location was perfect for our day trips exploring the Maine coastline and local golf courses. We would recommend this cottage to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway. Thank you Ambie and Dana for sharing your piece of heaven. Penny and Johnson

Great Get-Away Cottage & Location

Located on a 1-street peninsula the cottage is everything as advertised -- clean, well-stocked and managed by wonderful hosts (thank you to both!) that are very responsive when it comes to answering any of your questions (thank you for the dining recommendations) and for ensuring that your stay is a memorable one. This is a fantastic property for those that enjoy lake life -- being on the water; the sights & sounds of the lake, making outdoor fires and grill cooking. When not on the lake you can easily make day trips to Acadia NP, hike on the Appalachian Trail, take scenic drives and explore the nearby local towns and Bangor.

Summer vacation 2023

My wife and I stayed one week and found all to be more than expected. After having built and owned our own place on a Mane lake for 50 years we had high expectations for a rental. This cottage and view of the clear/clean lake exceeded our expectations. The very pleasant owners live next door and were always available for any needs/questions. We were treated to a ride on their pontoon boat and enjoyed seeing three bald eagles and several loons, including this years chicks. Our only regret is that we should have booked two weeks. I would highly recommend this place and would most definitely rent again. Merle & Rachel

Quaint lakeside cottage

Quaint and clean lakeside cottage. The cottage has everything you need, including a well stocked kitchen, chairs for the lovey private pebble beach, campfire chairs, etc. The location is beautiful for sunrises right from the back patio and solar room. The property owners reside next door, but allow you the utmost privacy. We barely knew they were there. They respond quickly and are very hospitable. The property is located on a small private peninsula with other homes and cottages, that are well- maintained by quiet, respectable owners. Located less than 15 minutes from Bangor, this pleasant lakeside cottage is the perfect Maine getaway for relaxing by the water, while enjoying the historic city of Bangor.

Relaxing week on Pushaw Lake

My husband, myself, our 21 yr son and his girlfriend spent last week at this home. Ambie had their 2 kayaks ,chairs and side tables on the beach along with floats already blown up for us. They also had some firewood for the firepit which was very nice since we did not stop for some on the way up. We grilled, kayaked, swam and floated the week away. We got up one morning to watch the sunrise and got some spectacular pictures. We either walked 50 ft to see the beautiful sunsets, or watched it form the kayaks. Overall we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and everything we needed was at our disposal. Thank you Dana and Ambie! I think we owe you some Pam spray, kids packed it up by mistake! Sincerely, The Gages

Best lakeside cottage ever

Where to begin? This was our best VRBO experience yet. The property was immaculate, as clean as it possibly could be. Everything is in pristine condition, and not at all rustic. Nice kitchen and single bathroom. The cottage is beautiful and right on the water. The private beach is made of fine, round pebbles and is very enjoyable to lounge on while watching the kids swim and play in the water. The hosts provided 2 kayaks and several floaties that got hours and hours of use during our week stay. You do want to wear water shoes though because the lake bottom has rocks (fairly smooth rocks though). We enjoyed quiet evenings and sunrises, even during the week of July 4th, so you can really relax here. Bangor is a short 15 minute drive away with all the amenities and restaurants you might want. We drove to Acadia National Park 3 of the 5 days during our stay and had a great time there and at Bar Harbor. Dana and Ambie made sure we knew they were available for anything we might need but were unobtrusive and kept a low profile. My wife and I highly recommend this cottage for families and couples that want to have a waterfront, relaxing and stress-free vacation.

In the dark

1) the porch light did not work, hazard trying to get inside. 2) location did not allow for dishwasher or washer and dryer. Laundry mat on vacation is not ideal. 3) electric outlets did not work in upstairs large bedroom 4) light in staircase did not work 5) not safe for people with mobility issues as loose rugs were spread throughout 6) shower is a stall and showerhead fell off. 7) TV volume would sound go out and come back and wifi was hit or miss. 8) advertised as quiet location but a pulic swim area was near by and children got loud. 9) If renting this place be sure to click on everything and scroll to the bottom for the fine print that says only 2 guests aloud but sleeps six, the extra 4 people will cost $35 a day per person. 10) I would not recommend this place, its surface shiny and not welcoming past that.

Lovely week at Pushaw!

We are already missing our wonderful retreat week at Pushaw Lake! When we arrived to the cottage which is located on a sweet little peninsula with a wonderful little neighborhood of lakeside homes, Ambie and Dana had everything set up for an easy check in. The cottage was welcoming and full of little touches that made it feel like a home away from home. There were even several beautiful arrangements of flowers and wildflowers from Ambie's garden and yard placed here and there. The cottage was well stocked with anything we would possibly need. We stayed on the main floor bedroom which has curtains that draw closed (no door) and a window a/c unit which we did use as the week was very warm and unusually very humid. The furnishings in the house are extremely comfortable. There are many places inside and outside to enjoy the incredible lakeside view. Down a few steps to the waters edge is a small but adequate sandy/pebbly beach where there were chairs and 2 kayaks to use. Our favorite part of the week was watching a loon family with their baby. It was incredible to see and hear them each day. We were thrilled with our stay at Dana and Ambie's cottage and enjoyed meeting them along with some of the neighbors on our evening walks. Being on the peninsula allowed for beautiful sunrises in front of us and spectacular sunsets behind us. Just stunning. We would certainly return and would highly recommend it. Thank you Dana and Ambie for a spectacular and memorable week!

Quintessential Maine Waterfront Camp

We were delighted to be the first tenants of this newly renovated 3 bedroom waterfront “camp”. The second floor bedrooms contain a queen in one bedroom and a pair of twin beds in the other. The first floor master bedroom overlooks the lake and the incredible morning sunrise. However, be aware one of the walls of the bedroom is a cleverly placed curtain. Truly worth the bedside view of the lake. There is a large living room appointed with TV, movies, games, woodstove and an AC unit, if there is a heat wave (it will be pleasantly cool at night, despite the high of 95degrees during the day).There were two kayaks on the private beach for our use. The local loon let me within inches of him, and the loon calls in the evening are eerily fascinating to listen to. The beaver around the bend was less thrilled to sense my approach. I heeded his haughty slap of his tail and 180ed back to the lovely lily pads. You may rent speed boats nearby, though boat traffic was light even on the Fourth of July. The kitchen has a small gas stove and oven, full sized fridge and a Kuerig machine. There are plenty of pots and pans. The bathroom was fine. The upright shower stall had plenty of hot water and water pressure due to the artesian well on the property. There was a nice gas grill, deck chairs, and fire pit. Bring bug repellant! If desired, you can sit inside and view the lake from the closed in porch! The neighborhood is quiet, in fact, it’s a private peninsula, and the neighbors quietly kept to themselves. All in all, it was a quintessential Maine week! Just perfect!

A paradise peninsula

We had an AMAZING stay on Pushaw Lake; the swimming was heavenly, and the kayak exploration was lots of fun. The kitchen was perfectly furnished and the well water tasted great. Dana and Ambie were fantastic hosts who answered our questions immediately. We hope to return in future summers!

Away from it all

We had an amazing two weeks at this property. Secluded and serene with amazing sunrises each day. Eagles flying around all day were stunning. Great cottage for 5 people and anything you needed was just a short ride into town. We hope to be back next year.

UK visitors

A great few days, kayaking, swimming and relaxing. Wonderful location with views across the lake. Dana and his wife were very friendly and could not have been more helpful. Thoroughly recommend this property!

Rock Wall Getaway

This is a great spot for lake and loon watching, birding, paddling, close to town as well. The hosts are gracious and friendly. This is going to be a yearly visit!
