Timber Frame Guest Cottage

Nuestra Timber Framed Guest Cottage es un lugar acogedor muy dulce completamente amueblado para su comodidad. Cuenta con un dormitorio y una gran área de loft con otra cama queen y una cama individual para dormir hasta 5 personas en total. Hay una chimenea de gas y una gran parrilla de gas en la cubierta trasera. El baño es pequeño pero dulce con una bañera con patas para sumergirse si lo desea o ducharse con una cortina cerrada.

La cabaña está ubicada en una zona muy tranquila de la ciudad al borde de un bosque de álamos y un campo de flores silvestres. Está a solo una cuadra de la carretera principal que atraviesa la ciudad y está a poca distancia de una variedad de servicios y tiendas: restaurantes, antigüedades, golf, supermercados, alquiler de autos, estación de tren AmTrak (solo en la temporada de verano), paseos a caballo y servicios de transporte a todas las colas de senderismo y cabañas dentro del Parque Nacional Glacier (solo en temporada de verano).

También puede ser una escapada de invierno excelente si te gusta el esquí de fondo, el esquí de fondo y el snowboard. Essex es una unidad de 1/2 hora que ofrece kilómetros de pistas de esquí xc arregladas, clásicas y de skate.

La cabaña comparte un patio muy grande con nuestra otra casa de alquiler justo al lado (VRBO listado # 328250). Es un entorno ideal si viaja con un grupo grande o varias familias. También hay juegos de patio para disfrutar: badmitten, croquet, volleyball, soccer, etc. También tenemos algunas bicicletas disponibles para su uso: bicicletas tipo 'townie' de una sola velocidad para recorrer la ciudad de East Glacier.

Estamos en una excelente ubicación para venir a explorar el Parque Nacional Glacier las cuatro estaciones. Venga a relajarse y disfrute de la ciudad de East Glacier Park y el parque nacional mientras se hospeda en nuestra cabaña.

This was a lovely, clean and relatively quiet place. It was only a few minutes drive from Two Medicine. Bear spray being provided was a plus. The handyman Marty was a great help by giving us information about the area when we checked in. I do wish we had a clearer picture of the remoteness of the location prior to leaving Columbia Falls. The cottage had a great kitchen and if we had known that the only restaurants available within an hour's drive were one small cafe and 2 food trucks, we would have purchased more groceries before we drove one and a half hours to the cottage from the airport. There was a general store of sorts where we purchased a gallon of milk that expired the next day for 8.99, but it could hardly be called a grocery and didn't seem very clean. All this said, the property was exquisite and well taken care of. I would recommend it.

Absolutely magical! We felt at home as soon as we opened the door—everything was perfect. The only thing to consider; if you have mobility concerns, the shower is in a gorgeous claw foot tub that you need to step into. They have bicycles and all sorts of outdoor and indoor games, plus very easy access to Glacier, especially Two Medicine!

Oh my goodness the cutest little cabin! We love the Two Medicine area! Great location, great hospitality. Great communication! Marty was an absolute joy! Could not have asked for a more perfect spot for our family! I would certainly stay again next time we visit Glacier!

Loved the location and amenities. Everything in working order and clean and ready. Kitchen was equipped with the basics. Did leave our bear spray since we can’t fly with it so doesn’t hurt to ask if they will have some to borrow.Loved the little outdoor back patio and enjoyed resting during our evenings after hiking.Only gripe is the bathtub so if you have trouble getting in/out of high clearings, maybe not for you.

We loved this place! The only bad thing was the Shower/tub! Its a claw foot tub with a shower head add to it. The tub is very narrow & I almost fell 4 or 5 times the first time I took a shower! Its also kinda hard to get out of since its higher off the floor than a regular tub. Other than that we loved this place! Loved sitting on the back patio & watching the wildlife! I would recommend this place!!

What a fabulous place to base your East Glacier adventures and perfect for the best features of Glacier NP - the Many Glaciers, St Mary’s, and Two Medicine Lake entrances. About an hour drive to West Glacier for your float trips and fishing trips, and larger shopping opportunities if you need that. We loved the beds and linens, high end furnishings throughout, and everything we needed in the kitchen. We’ll certainly be back for another wilderness escape!

The Best!

This is our second stay at this lovely little house. It was even better than we remembered it. Very clean, great location, super quiet. We enjoyed cooking on the grill on the back deck a couple of nights. East Glacier is the perfect location for to explore the “quiet side of the park”.

We loved our stay at this cozy cottage in a quiet setting! It was extremely clean and well equipped. The beds were comfortable and although the claw foot tub/shower space was small, the shower head was wonderful. It was nice having a washer and dryer available and Marty was extremely helpful explaining everything. We would definitely book again!

Charming cottage close to Glacier hiking trails

This cottage was perfect for our family of 3! We loved all the amenities, and we were able to cook dinner for ourselves the 2 nights we were there and sit on the back patio to eat. It was the perfect relaxing stay after a long day of hiking at Glacier. It had all the comforts of home, was very clean, and well maintained. We were sorry we only spent 2 nights there! But when we return to the area, we will definitely stay there again!

Cutest little cabin!

Loved our stay! The owner was so pleasant to work with and helped me with a needed change in our reservation. The property manager was very friendly and greeted us upon arrival. He let us know everything we needed to know about the cabin and surrounding area. It was clean and cozy, awesome back deck, beautiful yard and in a great location. It was the perfect place to enjoy Glacier and take a load off after a day of adventure :)

Beautiful cottage tucked in off the main road

Very comfortable and clean cottage located on the edge of East Glacier. The host was enjoyable to talk with and very knowledgeable of the area. We highly recommend the cottage for those looking for a quiet area just minutes fro GNP.

Great Launching Point for Glacier

We spent a few great days at Glacier and the East Glacier cabin was a great home bae for us. The kitchen was well equipped, cabin was clean and well laid out, laundry facilities easily usable and available, and Marty was a great host. We'd consider staying here again if we visit Glacier again.

House was adorable with all the comforts of home. Well-stocked with every kitchen essential needed (hooray for an iron skillet!). I also used the laundry facilities which were convenient and clean. Marty was MOST helpful and genuine even recommending papaya pills for an unfortunate illness we came down with (we found a health food store that sold them and they totally helped). Wonderful stay, HIGHLY recommend!

A Trip that Exceeded Expectations

Property lived up to the great reviews it has received. A home away from home. Upon arrival, immediately felt very fortunate to have this place come available for our trip. Loved sitting on back deck and BBQing after a day of hiking. Interior was very clean, comfortable and well decorated. We cooked all our meals in well equipped kitchen that had an abundance of pots/pans/foil/utensils/seasonings etc...Usually bring my French press along but ran out of room and was surprised to find one at the cottage. Not as many food options on the East side of the park so glad we stocked up in Kalispell prior to arriving. There are a couple of restaurants/general stores within walking distance. Hosts were very friendly and responsive. Marty who oversees upkeep of property was very knowledgeable on hiking options. On first night Hosts delivered a 47" smart TV that we enjoyed using our streaming subscriptions through. Was about 45 minutes to St Mary's park entrance and 1 hour to Many Glacier entrance. Did Iceberg Lake and Grinnell Glacier hikes from Many Glacier and Avalanche, St Mary's/Virginia Falls from St Mary's entrance. Planned this trip for end of September to avoid crowds and see fall colors. Fall colors were amazing and the only problem we had with crowds was at the Logan Pass Visitors center for parking as we wanted to do the Highline and Hidden Lake hikes so did Avalanche Lake instead and weren't disappointed. Thanks Colleen for a wonderful stay!!

This cottage was great. Just as pictured but so much more than expected is available in the cabin. Bed was comfortable, enjoyed sitting on the back porch after a long day of hiking while grilling dinner. Would stay here again!

This cottage reminded us of a Hansel and Gretel cottage minus the witch. Very comfortable and attractive. The grounds were immaculate with a nice patio in back It’s a timber cottage with wooden pegs holding the logs in place. The soaking tub was so nice after a hike. Although the cottage was delightful the absolute best part of our stay was Marty the caretaker. He was incredibly helpful and was right there for absolutely anything. Very friendly and a super interesting guy.
