Space was amazing for our girls celebration; we were all able to eat meals together and have a good time. There was plenty of space in the yard and parking was easy.

Highlights include location and the dormer. The house is close to 4 beaches, including Riley which is within walking distance. Our grandchildren had a great time playing and sleeping in the dormer. On the needs improvement end was the kitchen. Hand towels, not kitchen towels were provided for drying dishes. The kitchen supplies included one, not two potholders, an incomplete set of measuring spoons and cups, and two broken can openers,( we bought and left a new one). The ceiling light bulb over the refrigerator was out as well as the one over the stove top.

We were not told that parking was in the back of the house so drove around and around looking for the property. The upstairs bathroom outlet was broken and the can opener didn't work. The house was clean, nice and well represented in the photos.

Super cute getaway

All of my friends and I stayed for a bachelorette trip and it was an amazing property for this occasion. The proximity to the beach was great! We just had a little trouble with check in that got solved with a message to the host. The host was great but sometimes a bit slow at responding….but life is busy! Overall this property is GREAT!

Super comfortable

The house was super comfortable, great yard for sitting and talking and playing backyard games. You really can walk to the beach, that was nice! We were here for a wedding weekend, plenty of closets to put away the suits and dresses, great washer/dryer combo and a good kitchen. We especially loved the big dining table. Beds are comfy, everything was super clean, and the communication with the host was easy and fast.

Family Wedding

My large extended family chose to stay in this Holland home while we were together for a family wedding. There were six family "units," and we all fitted very nicely in the house. The beds were comfortable, the towels were plentiful, and we had lots of room to spread out or be all together as desired. Many of us enjoyed the short walk to beautiful Lake Michigan. We did have a couple hiccups, but both were easily resolved. When we tried to warm food up in the oven for supper, we discovered it wasn't working. The host responded immediately to messages and offered to get someone to come look at it. We didn't need it again during our stay and were able to warm the food up on the stove, so it really didn't cause an issue. The second hiccup was running out of the provided toilet paper within the first day of being there. So, if you are a very large group (like we were), consider bringing some extra. A quick run to the store remedied that situation. :) Overall, the home was a great choice for us, and we were able to focus on enjoying time together!

Family reunion

This home was perfect for our family reunion. 4 sets of families had plenty of space. There were some toys and games for the little ones. There was plenty of space for us to relax. The location was wonderful- close to town, the lake, and anything else we needed.

Fun time

Overall, the stay was very good. Great large spaces for sitting in a group, great long table for large gatherings to eat. Little deck off the back shaded and enjoyable. Downstairs shower was a little dingy, couple of the doors didn’t latch well (e.g. down to basement) and many steep stairs make it not great for walking children 1-2 yo. Upstairs got really hot at night despite air conditioning. Didn’t get the check in info from VRBO but reached out to property manager and they replied quickly! Walkable beach location was ~ 10 minutes walk and included crossing one fast road. Beach was clean, very small and no amenities (bathrooms) which makes it challenging for littles. Home had some kid supplies and a washer/dryer combo which was really helpful. No binder about check in, check out info or about other things like trash day or fun things to do. Would stay again as size and price are great

Wedding Party Lodging

This property was the perfect place to host 16 people - our wedding party and ourselves! We really availed ourselves of all the living areas, and not once did it feel crowded. Beth is a very attentive host, making sure when we did not received our check-in info from VRBO, that she texted me. Managing 16 people in one house can be a lot, so it was also very kind that Beth texted me when one of our guests left a car parked in on the street. A very gracious host! Would 100% recommend having your next large group of folks stay at this house. Quiet neighborhood, and the perfect rest and lodging experience for our wedding party to use as a jump-off point before attending various events in the Grand Rapids/Holland-area.

Team Bonding Basketball Trip

This property was exactly what we were looking for a team bonding trip for our high school basketball team. We were able to sleep the entire team in one room and many lifetime memories were made by these young men. We took more away from this trip than just the baskeball scrimmage we attended. Thanks to the owners who had everything we needed and answered via text promptly and helped in many ways.

Girls bday getaway

Absolutely loved our stay here. It was super cute, clean, and fun. The bedroom with all the beds was not only a great slumber party room, but the beds were heavenly. Having a dining table that sat all 8 of us was great fun. The area is peaceful and nice but still close to beach and town. Communication with host was great, she even got a cake knife and server for our stay which was much appreciated. Would highly recommend and hope to stay here again.

Great home for a large family vacation

House is spacious yet cozy in a good way. The paved roads and trails were so nice for young kids to bike and Rollerblade. Owner gave constant communication and responded within hours each time I reached out. New Holland brewing and downtown was very nice and there is plenty of beaches to go to as well close by.

Summer Cottage

The house is exactly as advertised. Clean, comfortable, all amenities grill, fire pit, washer and dryer and fans, large patio and deck. Also, a nice garage to park or store all of your gear.

Great for families/Owner super responsive

We stayed here with another family and it was great! The owner was super responsive and helpful. The property was really clean and there was plenty of towels/linens/bedding! The "dorm" area above the bed was a great place to stick all the kids. There were plenty of kitchen supplies too! It was very well decorated and appointed so it felt like we were staying in luxury. I'm trying to think of cons and I really can't think of any.

Perfect place for a Girls Trip!

This house is perfect for a large group. There were 10 of us that stayed over the weekend and we had more than enough room and beds. The big room over the garage is perfect and absolutely beautiful as are the other bedrooms. There were plenty of towels for everyone and they even supplied the shampoo, conditioner, and body wash in the showers. The kitchen is perfectly stocked, we cooked breakfast and dinner both days and had everything we needed to accomplish this. The large dining table is an added bonus, not many homes have a table that can seat 10 comfortably. Beth is the perfect "host", she left a sweet thank you card for choosing her home along with a bag of coffee and some flowers. I highly recommend this home if you have a large group, you won't be disappointed.

Beautiful Comfy Home away from Home

We rented this home for a girls getaway weekend and could not have loved it more. The house is fully stocked with anything you could need. Everything was extremely clean and well kept. We truly enjoyed our time here. Owner was easy to work with and very accommodating. Would stay here aging without hesitation!

Great Girl's Getaway

We could not imagine a better home for our trip. A table for 10 is what I look for when we're searching for a house for our getaways. The cozy living room was a great gathering spot. Plenty of beds and the large dorm room over the garage was so fun. Beds, pillows, linens and towels were abundant and luxurious. We would recommend this vacation home to any family or group. Beth has thought of everything, down to the tiniest of details. Including, great recommendations on restaurants and shopping, everything you'd have in your kitchen at home, but nicer. There is even a wagon to pull your stuff to the beach. We all agreed, this home earned a WOW!!!
