Family holiday at Marival!!
Family of 14 people travelling from Victoria, Canada, ages 1 through to 71 for a 10 night stay and we had a fantastic time!! Great resort with several pools and restaurants, and a clean, beautiful beach. Resort is close proximity to the PVR airport and Bucerias. What really made our stay enjoyable was
being a platinum member and getting to use the private beachfront restaurant and cabanas and beach chairs. Also free laundry was a big bonus. The service from Justin (our booking agent) was great and he provided several recommendations for what to do on and off the resort. We will most certainly be returning again and I will use Justin and recommend him to friends and family without hesitation. This is a great resort with above average food and drinks compared to the many other all inclusive resorts we’ve stayed at in Mexico. You won’t be disappointed or bored with this resort, we will come again for sure. Only downside we were not prepared for, mosquitos were bad as we stayed on a ground level unit with a grassy area off our patio. Covered in bites as a result, whereas our family that stayed on the 2nd level had no issues with mosquitos. Also keep in mind there is no elevator so if you have a young family with strollers etc, you may want a ground floor unit (just bring bug repellent if you or kids plan on. playing in the grass.). Walmart a cheap taxi ride away which was great to get some snacks and other items you may not find at the resort. We had an amazing birthday celebration dinner at a place in Bucerias called Sukha Beach House (thanks Justin for the recommendation) which really helped make this trip one we’ll never forget. Overall I rate this vacation a 10/10 and can’t wait to go back!
