Nuevo Listo para disfrutar Rústico ROJO BUFFALO Cabin Make Memories en Wichita Mnts


Recién inaugurado en julio de 2019 y listo para disfrutar, The Rojo Buffalo Cabin tiene dos camas Queen Size y una ducha con azulejos. Madera de granero, pino nudoso y estaño corrugado se utilizan en toda la espaciosa cabina. Los pisos de concreto manchado oscuro y los techos de estaño realmente agregan un ambiente rústico pero elegante. Disfrute de la puesta de sol desde el porche cubierto mientras se relaja en las mecedoras de madera. También estamos entusiasmados con nuestra nueva área de pabellón adicional con una mesa de picnic y parrilla de carbón.

La cabaña Rojo Buffalo en The Lazy Buffalo retrata la herencia del búfalo. En 1907, nuestra pequeña ciudad estaba muy emocionada cuando 15 de los mejores búfalos llegaron por ferrocarril en cajas pesadas. Incluso Quanah Parker estuvo allí para presenciar este evento histórico.

El Lazy Buffalo consta de 4 cabañas temáticas individuales. El Rojo Buffalo Cabin es la primera puerta desde la izquierda cuando se mira The Lazy Buffalo y bajo el techo marrón.

INTERACCION INVITADA
El Lazy Buffalo tiene un registro sin problemas. Se utiliza una entrada de panel táctil para que pueda ir directamente a su cabina a su llegada. Antes de su llegada, le enviaremos un mensaje de instrucciones junto con un código de puerta a su cabina. Nuestra casa está en el camino y siempre está a una llamada de distancia si necesita algo. Check in después de las 4pm y Check out antes de las 11am

UBICACIÓN
Estamos a solo media milla de la Casa de las Estrellas original de Quanah Parker y a minutos de Lawton Fort Sill y del histórico Parque de la Medicina. Explorar las pintorescas montañas de Wichita es imprescindible. Si eres un entusiasta de la bicicleta, hay un sendero pavimentado junto a nuestra propiedad que recorre las montañas.

This is the neatest place! Easy to get to and very close to the Wichita Mountain wildlife refuge and Medicine Park. All of the little games around the place and the decor made it very special and fun to explore. You can tell the owners take a lot of pride and a lot of planning went into this. It’s very well done and truly a gem. The room was clean and well decorated and the bathroom was very nicely done. There was a mini fridge stocked with waters and a microwave so we were able to make warm food and have cold drinks. The complimentary snacks and coffee were also a hit. My kids and I really enjoyed it and even had a nice fire in the fire pit to end the day.There is a casino and fueling station directly across the street and a bar a few hundred yards down the road, but surprisingly nothing seemed disruptive and you almost don’t notice. Still feels pretty private. We will absolutely be back and probably make this a regular stay.

Just a little runaway.

Had a rough week at work. Decided on Wednesday that i wanted to runaway for a few days. Made the reservation and arrived on Thursday. My sister and daughter came along and it was so nice. The room is comfortable and the pillows are amazing. The walk in shower was large and the water pressure was a lot better than i have come to expect at most rentals. Over all will definitely stay again. It is convenient to Medicine Park, Wichita Wildlife Preserve and close enough to run into Lawton if you forgot anything.

Very nice property

Cute room, fun property with games all over the place we enjoyed playing. Sad it was cloudy because we really wanted to do some stargazing. Took some great maternity photos of my wife out there. Only complaint is that the fitted sheet kept falling off the mattress.

Right down the road from the buffalo reserve. Casino with a restaurant across the hwy. We were happy as clams in our cute room.

Wonderful place!

This was an awesome find - it was clean, well managed & the decorating was just adorable! It was a perfect stay for a one night getaway. We will definitely be returning if we find ourselves in SW Oklahoma again!

Needed a place for an overnight stay. I had stayed here before and knew it was a great place last time. It still is. Easy check in and really nice spot for a night or several nights.

Overall good

Nice quiet location not too far from Lawton, but there is nothing nearby other than the wildlife refuge. Property seems recently constructed and well maintained. Our room seemed rather dusty but was clean overall

Loved it!

Very cute and cozy cabin. Comfortable beds and loved the rocking chairs on the front porch! The area was in a good location for sight seeing and hiking. Manager was very responsive to our needs. I would recommend this place to friends and family.

Girls' Weekend

We had a wonderful stay at The Lazy Buffalo! Cute cabins that are conveniently located near The Wichita Mountain Wildlife Refuge, Medicine Park and other area attractions. The themed cabins are nicely decorated. The snacks and water in the rooms are nice to have after a long day of sightseeing. The extra activities like corn hole and the stargazing truck make this a very fun place to stay. Julie is a great host! I had a girls' weekend with my mom, sister and niece. We had 3 rooms and stayed 3 nights and loved our time here. We will definitely stay here again the next time we are in the area.

We have lived in Southwest Oklahoma for over 60 years and love our hometown of Cache. The Wichita Mountains are right in our backyard, and we get to enjoy their beauty every day.

In 2019, The Lazy Buffalo opened with 5 vacation rental Cabins. These Cabins were designed to capture the essence of the Wichita Mountains and the history of our hometown. In 2021, the Venue with Bunkhouse opened, and we carried over the same western vibe when designing the 2400 square foot space. Throughout 2022 and 2023, we opened 6 more Cabins and in late 2023 our first set of pet friendly Cabins opened.

Conveniently connected by sidewalks, it's just a short stroll being the bunkhouse, our Cabins, and 24 hour guest laundry. All together, we can accommodate up to 49 guests among the 13 Cabins and Bunkhouse.

We are blessed to be family owned and managed. Our favorite thing about hosting is seeing multi-generation Families gathered around sharing quality time together. Should you need anything, our home is only 2 blocks from the Cabins. We hope you make wonderful memories while being our guest at The Lazy Buffalo.

Southwest Oklahoma is rich with History and offers endless things to do and discover.

CACHE - our hometown
Dine in at a local cafe or order fast food to enjoy at our outdoor pavilion. Wahlburgers, the first one on Oklahoma is located just across the highway inside the casino. This burger restaurant is family friendly.

The Cache City Park has a Pickleball Court with lights. Kids will enjoy the splash pad (open Summer) & playground equipment. The park features a paved trail and has kids bikes available for use.

For those that like to hit the slots, the Comanche Cache Casino is now open and has over 300 games. Casino is ages 18 and up and is non-smoking.

For history enthusiasts, Quanah Parker’s Star House is nearby. The two story home is known for its distinctive wraparound porch with large white stars adoring the roof. Many tales of the famous outlaws Belle Starr and Jesse James were rumored to have roamed our area. Will you be the one to find their hidden loot?

WICHITA MOUNTAINS WILDLIFE REFUGE – 3 miles
The Wildlife refuge spans 59000 acres and home to free range buffalo, longhorn cattle, and other species. Stop at the Visitor Center for a wealth of information on all the Refuge attractions including the Holy City, Quanah Parker Lake, parallel forest, forty-foot hole, and Charon’s garden trail.

MEERS & MEDICINE PARK – less than 15 miles
Take a scenic drive to Meers, a town known for its gold rush days. America’s cobblestone community, Medicine Park, is just past Mount Scott.

LAWTON - 10 to 20 minutes
Lawton is a bigger city and has activities such as casinos, iMax Movie Theater, shopping, and restaurants. Walmart, Academy, and Target are a short drive up the highway.

FORT SILL – 20 minutes
Fort Sill is the last remaining active military post that was built during the Indian war and is home to the US Army's Field Artillery. The prominent Native American leader of the Chiricahua Apache, Geronimo, is buried at the Fort Sill Cemetery.
