We had a wonderful stay at a cabin in Ponderosa Ranch, East Zion. The place had absolutely everything we needed—and more! A fun surprise was finding turmeric in the pantry, which saved our Persian cooking plans when we realized we’d forgotten to pack it. It’s clear the owners stocked the home like they intended to live there themselves.The cabin was spotless, spacious, and comfortably fit our group of seven adults. The host even left cold water in the fridge for us, which was a thoughtful touch after a long day of travel. Another standout was the incredible night sky—we were able to see the Milky Way right from the deck. Truly magical.Communication was also top-notch. The host was very responsive, even replying to a message at 11 p.m. on a Sunday night, which we really appreciated. The only minor downside was the 40-minute drive each way to the Zion Canyon shuttle stops for hikes like The Narrows and Angels Landing. That said, we were up early for hikes anyway, so it wasn’t a major issue. On the plus side, the cabin is much closer to Bryce Canyon, which made for an easy and scenic afternoon trip. All in all, this place exceeded our expectations in every way, and we’d absolutely stay here again!

We came here for our annual friends summer trip and it could not have been any better. We enjoyed all the amazing hikes and views but the best part was all of us hanging out in the cabin in the early mornings and late nights. The cabin truly felt like a home away from home. It was everything we hoped for and more. A lot of fear were tackled this trip from hiking Angel’s Landing to doing (almost) 10 miles of the Narrows. Those hikes were breathtaking (literally) but so much fun with all our friends together.Looking at the stars at night was also incredible since we can’t quite see them from home. Overall, this trip was so much fun and made some great memory in our friend group. Thank you!!!!

A good time!

The cabin was clean and spacious. There was a lot to do - ATV trails, swimming, pickleball, mini-golf, etc. However, beware that the price for those activities is 25 per person per day. Also, the wifi speed struggled. Overall, a wonderful experience for our family. The host was excellent!

Love the accommodations

Our family included a baby, adults, and a couple teens. Everyone had a fabulous time! This cabin is very well stocked, supplied all of our needs. Great location near Zion. Generous balcony with lovely view. We also enjoyed the local pool, mini golf and other activities!

A VRBO Dream Mountain Stay

What a fabulous family vacation in a fabulous home! There were 10 of us and we all slept comfortably and were able to eat all together. Everything that you could possibly want is available. Only 10 minutes away from the east entrance of Zion and a mile and a half from the Zion Ponderosa Ranch and all of its amenities!

Great log cabin

This house came with everything we needed for a great week long stay. It was close to the East Entrance to Zion National Park, and easy to access Bryce Canyon NP and Grand Canyon NP (north rim), which we also visited. The drive into Zion from the cabin is gorgeous, and we saw lots of wildlife along the way. Be sure to follow the owner's instructions regarding directions to the cabin from the front gate of the neighborhood. If you follow Google Maps, it will take you partially on a dirt road, which gets muddy after it rains. Lesson learned!

Perfect Location, Great House, Awesome Host

Great Family House

Our family of 6 had a wonderful time in this home. The house was very clean & had one of the best stocked kitchens we’ve stayed in. We appreciated the extra blankets since the weather was cooler. Something to note the location is quite a drive to western Zion NP . But we loved the neighborhood & enjoyed time in East Zion. Thank you!

Wonderful Family Holiday

What a fabulous week! Wonderful communication with the hosts from start to finish. We had a wonderful time as a family in a home that is beautiful, clean and so welcoming. Amazing star gazing

Our family stayed during our trip to see Zion and Bryce Canyon. It was super close to Zion, and kinda cool because you have to drive through the park to get to the property. The house was great and the stargazing views are second to none. No need to book a star gazing excursion if you’re staying here.

Memorable Stay with Family

This house was the perfect place for our family of 7 which included my husband and I, our two adult sons, our daughter-in-law, 14 year old grandson, and 17 year old granddaughter. There was plenty of room and the location was perfect for us. We liked being in East Zion because it was easy to get to the Best Friends Animal Sanctuary, Bruce, horseback riding and UTV riding in Orderville. It was also a beautiful drive down to the main entrance to Zion. The Sunset Jeep adventure less than a mile from the house was also a winner. Loved every minute. Thank you.activities like U

Absolutely Amazing Cabin!

This cabin was a perfect getaway for our large family. It was comfortable, clean, and had the most gorgeous views. The cabin was incredibly well stocked with everything you could possibly need. The hosts had thought of everything to make a VRBO feel like home. We will definitely be booking with this host again!

Great Stay

Gorgeous log cabin is just as pictured and described. Comfortable, spacious, clean, kitchen was well equipped. Beautiful view. The resort pool and hot tub were very nice. The location is on the east side of the park - allow extra travel time to the Zion visitor center. We did our grocery shopping on our way to the house as there is no full service stores close by.

Destination Wedding

What a wonderful spot! I wish we were still there. The house is well appointed, sunsets were beautiful, beds were comfortable, it even had baby gear for us to use!! We had a small group for our daughter's destination wedding on a nearby mesa with dinner at the house afterward. It was lovely! The trails from the resort were very nice and not crowded like in Zion canyon. We had a great time and stay in your cabin, would definitely stay again if we come back to your area.

We wanted a mountain escape from the heat in St. George and found a neat relaxing place east of Zion National. So we constructed a log cabin with 10 inch logs and huge character beams. Since we are not always there we decided to share it. Hope you like as we do!
