Esta casa de 4 dormitorios ofrece un entorno privado de montaña con excelentes vistas a la montaña y fácil acceso para disfrutar de sus vacaciones. Gran salón con chimenea y cocina a medida con todas las comodidades del hogar. Fantástico patio plano para disfrutar con familiares y amigos. Decoradas con buen gusto con todos los muebles nuevos, incluidos televisores inteligentes en todas las habitaciones. Cerca de todo lo que nuestra maravillosa área tiene para ofrecer. Perfecto para motos con amplio garaje para estacionamiento interior. A solo 15 minutos del histórico Waynesville, Maggie Valley y Blue Ridge Parkway. Además, a solo 30 minutos de Asheville, a 20 minutos de Cataloochee Ranch para esquiar y montar a caballo, y a 40 minutos de rafting en aguas bravas. Simply the Best

This lovely home has all the best things… 1) easy access to town, 2) beautiful views of the alpaca neighbors and sunrises, 3) lots of room to stretch out, 4) unlimited hot water - with 6 of us, we never ran out! and 5) amazing amenities in the home. Heather was very responsive and protective in communication. The home was well cleaned and comfortable! We will be back again! I think we’ve found our annual NC vacation landing place!

Great rental place in a great area

I stayed here with 5 family members and another couple. The place served us very well. There was plenty of room for everyone for just hanging out and for sleeping. There's a lot of great places to eat and drink around Waynesville and beyond and it's only a 10-minute ride to Waynesville. I would consider staying at this rental again if I'm ever back in the area.

Amazing

My family and I traveled from Ohio originally to Bryson City and arrived at our rental only to find it infested with roaches! I contacted Heather and she let us move right in to her house the same day. I wish I would have found this rental first because it’s positively stunning! By far the cleanest, most well organized, and beautiful home I’ve ever rented. Heather was a wonderful host allowing us to even move in to the house at 9:00 in the morning. I can’t say enough about the house, the beautiful views and the most gracious host! My 1 and 2 year old nieces loved seeing the animals and eating raspberries growing by the road. Overall, it was the best experience I’ve had with vacation rentals and we’ve been doing this for about 20 years. Again, thank you Heather for being so accommodating! God bless

Iron Duff’s Best

We had a great time staying at the Harmony in Iron Duff Haywood County NC. The property was spacious, clean, and offered everything we needed for comfort. This is a great location to “get away” yet offers easy access to main routes to many attractions in the Smokies. We put it on our list of places we will revisit.

Beautiful Home and Property

The home was just as beautiful as listed on VRBO. Everything was clean, tidy and we had a gorgeous view of the mountains. There was plenty of room for our family with a large covered back porch for outside dining. We highly recommend this home for family vacations.

Great Trip

House was as good as previous reviews indicated. The kitchen was the best stocked kitchen of any property we’ve used in the past. Definitely recommend.

Wonderful Christmas house!

Our family loved staying at River Ridge for Christmas! The house was beautiful, well-stocked, and comfortable for our whole group. The location was perfect - we enjoyed trips to Waynesville, Asheville, the Blue Ridge Parkway, and Great Smoky Mountain National Park. Heather was easy to get in touch with about any questions we had and very responsive.

Excellent stay in the mountains

Centrally located in a rural setting between Ashville and Great Smokey Mountains with beautiful views from kitchen/great room. There are other houses on these 2+ acre lots but most of them seem unoccupied (vacation homes) so the setting is very tranquil. Clean, organized and functional. The only room for improvement: the booking is non refundable and there is a significant cleaning fee yet we were given a list of chores to do before checking out (even though we left at 6am). Like many people using STRs the list of pre check out chores plus increasing fees is making us reconsider if its even worth it. Second there is a Keurig style/pod coffee maker but bring your own (none provided). There is a drip coffee maker. Just add coffee to shopping list.

Beautiful Setting

The home was immaculate inside with every essential needed. The mountains were so beautiful and the charm and kindness of the residents in the small towns was so special! The home overlooks a well kept property next door of adorable alpacas grazing. Thank you Heather for your visit with us and making sure everything was just right! A jewel!

Family Getaway

The house was perfect in a quite area. The views were breathe taking and watching the alpaca's everyday was a treat. The house was very clean and the fireplace was nice on the cold mornings. We will stay again!

Wonderful Pet Friendly Summer Getaway

This property totally blew us away. Everything was perfect except the outdoor grill, which they replaced with a brand new grill within 24 hours. Awesome view, great location, totally clean and comfortable. My Wife and I will definitely be back next Summer.

Perfection

This was the place we had always hoped existed. Spacious, clean, fun (pool table & multiple TV's), but most importantly, the setting. That's why we went to the mountains... for tranquility, serenity and relaxation without feeling utterly cut off from civilization. We were only 6 1/2 miles from Publix and other amenities when needed. I hope we can return.

Above expectations! A Perfect Home!

Pictures and description is on point! And it sure does not disappoint. On the contrary, this beautiful home absolutely exceeds all expectations. It is a single-level home with a basement which was perfect for my 91 year old mom. It is fully equipped with everything you can think of. The furnishings are beautiful and just the right amount. The fireplace was perfect as some nights were too cold for mom. So she was the happiest roasting by the fireplace. The fully equipped kitchen is spacious and the open floor plan made it pleasant for everyone to feel inclusive. Beds are also comfortable and the bathrooms had ample towels. But the crown jewel of this place is the location. OMG I couldn’t wait to get up in the morning to enjoy my coffee on the porch and take in the spectacular views this home has to offer. And oh those loving Alpacas in front. They are so adorable and friendly. The location is perfect to relax and enjoy the amazing amazing views but also it’s a short distance and a nice drive to everything and everywhere you need to get to. We couldn’t figure out the TV and the Fireplace and when reaching out to the owners they were there in no time. Communications from booking until departure was excellent. We also came in with an RV and rented a car while there and parking was excellent for both. If you are in this area this is the house to stay at. It’s simply perfection. The only challenge was leaving. Even the dogs didn’t want to leave. Will come back for sure. Thank you!

Spring break 2023

We had a great time visiting for Spring break. The house was beautifully decorated and well stocked. The views are absolutely gorgeous. Everywhere we wanted to go was within a reasonable distance, so the location was perfect. Waking up to the beautiful mountain views and the alpaca’s next door made our stay so relaxing. Thank you so much for sharing your home with us.

Just Perfect

This is the kind of place we were looking for. The house felt so cozy and homie that we didn’t want to leave. Very relaxing and quiet neighborhood. Pictures are very accurate and the house was very clean all around. The Alpaca’s next door were a treat since they stayed staring at me while I was walking my dog in the front yard every morning. House is very accessible and close to different cities like Maggie Valley and Waynesville. For a little longer drive then you have Asheville and Bryson City. It was a plus that we could park the car inside the garage. We really loved the property and communication with Heather was very good! I can’t recommend this place enough and we will definitely be back!!!

Great home with convenient location!

So happy to find this lovely home in Iron Duff. 30 minutes to Asheville, 15 minutes to downtown Waynesville, and 50 minutes to Bryson City. This location was perfect to allow us to explore different areas and come home to a beautiful home to rest.

We arrived at the House & it was just as you see it on the VRBO site & it was Beautiful & the property it is on is also Beautiful & Landscaped very nicely the inside of the House is very nice & we had plenty of room for (4) Adults & (2) Dogs & the view front the front porch is great looking out over the valley & also the Alpaca farm directly across from the property & I would highly recommend this property to anyone.
