Esta casa de lujo de nueva construcción está lista para sus próximas vacaciones en las hermosas playas de 30A. Ubicado en un vecindario tranquilo de Seagrove Beach, Pelican Perch es el refugio ideal para reuniones familiares, bodas y la mejor escapada a la playa. Pelican Perch es una casa de lujo de alta gama que ofrece 3 pisos de espacio de vida excelente y bien diseñado para acomodar a una gran cantidad de familiares y amigos.

El piso principal no decepciona con el espacio. Tan pronto como entras, te recibe la gran cocina de estilo chef. La cocina es lo suficientemente amplia como para que varios invitados puedan cocinar a la vez. Esta cocina está más que totalmente equipada para sus próximas vacaciones. El estilo se combina con la función de encimeras de granito, gabinetes de cierre suave y refrigerador extra grande. Los grupos grandes encontrarán todo lo que necesitan para comidas o refrigerios, incluida una cafetera estándar, una despensa y muchos platos para servir, vasos, utensilios y herramientas de cocina. La sala de estar está amueblada con dos juegos de sofás seccionales, suficientes para sentar a todos en la casa. Un videojuego multicade, una mesa de futbolín, air hockey y un televisor inteligente de pantalla plana de 65 pulgadas acompaña a una biblioteca de películas ideal para familias, por lo que este es un gran espacio para pasar el rato, llover o hacer sol, caliente o frío. Es el lugar perfecto para un maratón de películas o reunirse para ver un gran juego de pelota en los sofás seccionales de gran tamaño.

¡Nuestro paseo de playa es accesible para discapacitados e incluye lugares de estacionamiento, aparcabicis, duchas completas y baños a menos de un minuto a pie de su puerta principal! Un salvavidas está presente, estacionalmente. ¡Este es el MEJOR acceso en 30A con nuevas instalaciones!

Winter Escape

We loved the house which perfectly accompanied 4 families three of which had children. The pool and hot tub were big hits and we were only a block away from a great beach access. We did encounter a number of issues with appliances and other items. Many were quickly addressed and fixed by the property managers, Danial and Bradley, We would rent this house again.

Wonderful maintenance

The maintenance man worked on any and all problems that we experienced after we arrived, and his help made our stay wonderful. He was very responsive to our calls, and made some very good suggestions about activities.

Great property

We had a great time staying at this house. The only concern was if the linen was washed before we checked in. We found a few items in different beds In the sheets. We wish the hot tub and pool would have not turned off after midnight. With Having to pay the extra Amount to have it heated to have had more control over when it turned on/off.

Perfect for large groups

We had a wedding party stay here as it sleeps 30 and although we didn’t have that many people stay this house is perfect for large groups. It’s right across the street from the beach access, easily walkable so location is 10/10. Good sized pool and hangout area. There was some gold fish on the floor and hair in the sinks / shower but nothing too dirty. Pool was freezing cold and hot tub is only on 6pm-12am which is inconvenient if you plan on using it any other times. But overall would stay again!!

Beach House

We had a good time. We weren't aware of all of the rules before paying and before the day of checking-in but most of them seemed reasonable enough. We abided by then but I feel like you should have some of the rules and the fact that you only can use the hot tub for 6 hours on your listing. Other than that we had a great time. Thanks so much.

Built With Love

Pelican Perch is a wonderful home for large families because each room has its own bathroom. The open living/dining/kitchen was perfect 21 people who flew in to the Destin-Ft. Walton airport (VPS). One-way Uber is $85 w/tip. Cheapest gas was $3.15 at Tom Thumb—not near Pelican Perch. Nearest grocery store is the Publix Watercolor. If we had teenagers there, the 3rd floor game room with foosball, air hockey, and video arcade would have been fabulous-underused by young children who were too short to use any of it. The bunkbeds were really neat up there, but only one of the individual TVs worked (in an upper-bunk no less!). Also no big deal for our littles, but a teenager might have been disappointed. There are two Pack-n-Plays, 1 high- chair and no booster seats. Wi-Fi is spotty when trying to get the baby monitors to work. There is an alarm every time the door to the pool is opened—which is a nice safety feature. Be careful going up and down the carpeted stairs with your arms full—3 of us slipped. All the beds were comfy and the house was nicely decorated. The “twin” house next door is managed by 360 Blue and is called Waves. Pelican Perch is managed by 850 Vacation Rentals—and that’s where the emails come from. The wagon to take to the beach was a lifesaver. It hauled the umbrella, boogie boards and chairs which were provided. I had to bring/buy 21 beach towels because they are not provided unfortunately. There are a couple of irons and ironing boards in closets upstairs. Pool was cleaned twice while we were there. There are a few chipped portions in the bottom of the pool, but that didn’t affect anything at all, it was crystal clear. A purple light comes on automatically around 8:00 pm and we couldn’t figure out how to turn on the hot tub. The gas grill outside was great because you don’t need charcoal nor propane tanks. There are 2 Mr. Coffee pots. The big dishwasher and 2 dish drawers were well-used. Nice to have 2 large refrigerators too. One of the lower freezer drawers was needing repair, but someone else already wrote about that in a prior review. Big Plus: a new ice machine had been installed! There are plenty of dishes and flatware for everyone. A couple of big mixing bowls would help. 100% I would stay here again. Kudos to the owners because it was built with love. Wish list: a doormat inside the front and back doors to water/sand, full length mirrors in every room, hooks in the bathrooms to hang wet bath towels, and potholders.

Needs updating

The property is in a great location! Walking distance to the beach - house had beach chairs etc so we didn’t need to bring stuff which was nice. Pool was great with a hot tub! But the inside was not the cleanest - windows were dirty, dust bunnies all over walls etc - kitchen was not stocked for our size group - freezer door didn’t work, disposal was broke(which they came in and fixed) the upstairs bathroom door was coming off the hinge. For the price point we expected a little more upscale place!

Needs Improvement

It is sad the house is not being maintained better. In general the house is a great layout for a large family. When I called the property manager regarding problems I was told very abruptly they know the house is rough but that is how it is at this time of the year. That being said the house is desperately in need of a deep clean, one of the freezers door is broken so cannot open completely, the fans on the back porch are broken ( was told they do not plan to fix), 3 toilets needed to be repaired, etc. I hope this review will make it a better place to stay for future renters as I have rented many homes and have never left a poor review.

Great Getaway

The company was great to work with. The location is also wonderful. The kitchen is well equipped. Our only criticism is that the Icemaker really doesn't provide much ice for a house that large. I would have preferred an icemaker instead of 1 of the dishwashers.

Mother Daughter trip

Perfect house for a large group of people. Nice beds, furniture and pool. Kitchen had everything we needed. Property manager was very responsive and helpful when we needed her. Would stay here again!

Very functional property for big families with small children. Location was great with proximity to the beach. The pool and hot tub were great. Bathrooms were a bit dated but overall we loved our time there and would stay again

Great Location and Great Space

Great Location, Clean, Great Size, and overall a great house. The Kitchen, bedrooms, and main living space was amazing for our large family gathering. Easy access to beach, restaurants, shopping, and surrounding towns. Pool was large and a big hit with the kids. FYI...The hot tub can only be used during certain hours... Beach gear was mediocre at best. No beach/pool towels provided. Overall we all enjoyed this property and we would likely rent this house again.

Wonderful House!

This house was perfect for our family vacation. We had groups from 3 different parts of the family meet us here, and there was plenty of space to spread out and not feel on top of each other. The teenage boys lived the game room, and the entire family loved the pool and hot tub. We were very sad to leave, and we will definitely stay here again!

The house was perfect for our large family gathering!

The house was perfect and the location was great. We loved the pool and we were glad we had it heated. Our family was in it a great deal of the time. During the Covid flare up we spent much of our time between the house and the beach. It was such a short walk to the beach, we were able to easily walk back and force to the house to get lunch. We also enjoyed the closeness to Seaside and the food trucks and restaurants. I would definitely book this house again. 850 Vacations had a wonderful person assigned to answer any of our questions and trouble shoot any of of our needs. 5 star house for sure!
