Relax in Villa Burriac — your peaceful retreat just outside Barcelona.
Step out from the lounge onto a balcony featuring a chill-out plunge pool, perfect for cooling off while soaking in tranquil mountain and sea views. The pool measures 5m x 2m and is 80 cm deep—ideal for relaxing rather than swimming.

Inside, the bright open-plan living and dining area, cooled by air conditioning, opens directly onto the balcony. The fully equipped kitchen and guest bathroom add convenience to your stay.

Downstairs, you’ll find two bedrooms—one double and one single—each with ceiling fans for comfort. Upstairs is a private master suite boasting a king-size bed (200 x 200), air conditioning, a dressing room, its own balcony, stunning sea views from the bedroom, and an ensuite bathroom.

At the end of the upstairs hallway, an open area with a sofa bed leads to another terrace, offering extra space to unwind.

Important Info:
Air conditioning is available in the living/dining area and master suite only. The villa sits above a separate guest house, ensuring complete privacy for your stay.

Everything you would want for a fantastic family holiday

Firstly the pictures displayed are entirely faithful. In every way what you see is entirely what you get which is just what one would need. Marnie is magnificently approachable, informative and assuring. We recommend her and her house unreservedly.

BE AWARE

A great house, spacious, with a well supplied kitchen. Great reviews when the property was managed by the owner, Marnie. Unfortunately on the day of our arrival, Marnie’s son, Clark took over the management of the property. On the first day I sent him a text because I couldn’t turn on the lights in the dinning room. I asked if it was the bulbs. His response was abrasive, letting me know the reason was that I had probably been “tampering” with the light switch, instructed me to call him only on certain times, and to text him to address only “ the important issues”. Three days later the air conditioning in the bedroom stopped working. After multiple attempts to contact him he instructed me to reset it. I had to go online, find the original user’s manual, and turn on and off the fuse box. I did this several nights, and every time the air was not working, until I finally told him to send a tech. The repair team confirmed the software was irreparably damaged and the whole unit needed to be changed, but that this could not be done until the week after. The owner never called, showed up, or informed me of the plan. The fridge gradually stopped working. I had to throw 120 euros worth of food because of a failing fridge in the dead of summer. Clark told me it was my fault because I lowered the temperature of the fridge from 6 to 1 degree Celsius(when I sensed the fridge was not working that what i had to do). Of course the techs confirmed there was no damage and that the issue had nothing to do with the users. Simply, no one had defrosted the fridge in a long time,. I had to spend the next 24 defrosting the fridge. Clark never showed up or offered to address the problem himself. At our departure he charged us a significant portion of our deposit in damages for the “repair of the fridge” and an nonexistent damage to the “tiles on the pool”(he said he had to by water proof glue to glue a couple of loose tiles). If you rent this property and you have a problem, you will have to deal with Clark. Be warned. While the house is lovely, the proximity (500 m) to a Dexailleria (in Catalan a Waste Management Site, see google maps), the constant odor of marijuana from two doors down (I told my two young nieces it was a nice lady making tea next door), and the lack of customer service skills of Clark, it is not a property I can recommend. This was witnessed and the negative opinion was shared by all the guests.

Wonderful!

Beautiful house, lovely area. We had a wonderful time, my grandkids didn't want to get out of the pool! Everything was as described, we came for a week and extended our stay for 3 more days, we liked it so much. The host was very kind, left us fruit, wine, soft driks and lots of other goodies, she even made us a Spanish omellette! and took us to the local supermarket by car. Would love to go back again one day.

Wonderful stay in Catalonia!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this beautiful and well-equipped home. Perfectly situated, the villa was an excellent launching point for our excursions throughout Catalonia, including swimming at the beaches of Costa Brava and hiking in Garrotxa, and provided quick and easy access to everything in Barcelona. We particularly enjoyed relaxing by the pool after a day of sightseeing. Marnie was an incredibly responsive host and extremely easy to work with from start to finish. We would stay again without hesitation. Wonderful!

Das Objekt war genau wie auf den Bildern gezeigt wunderschön. Der Vermieter war immer ereichbar. Das Haus war von Anfang an in einem sauberen Zustand, es gab sehr viel Platz für alles. Wir möchten gerne wieder dort Urlaub machen.

Home from home

The villa is extremely comfortable, clean and well presented and has everything you need to make it a home from home. It is very well positioned to visit Barcelona and to explore the coast. Excellent supermarkets and facilities near by. The hosts are very welcoming, helpful and caring and can't do enough to make your stay enjoyable and relaxing. I would highly recommend a stay here and we would not hesitate to return again in the future.

Fabulous

The location was great, the local beaches beautiful, the food and bars delicious and friendly, the villa was exceptional. All of this made for a wonderful holiday. In addition the host, Marnie, was brilliant in every way. We have often stayed in rented villa accommodation. The villa was lovely. it had everything you could possible need - and a great atmosphere. It was exceptional; we would recommend it without hesitation. Can we go back please!!

The house is located in a residential area in Cabrils, between the charming town of Vilassar de Mar and the picturesque village of Cabrils.

Cabrils is an idyllic valley located just 30 minutes away from the center of Barcelona, offering the perfect blend of sea and mountains. Known for its rich Mediterranean cuisine and numerous restaurants, Cabrils has been recognized as a gastronomic town. There are many excellent restaurants and numerous cultural events throughout the year, including the Cabrils Gastronomic Festival every August.

The house is just a 5-minute drive from the nearest beach (Cabrera de Mar) or the beach in Vilassar de Mar called, La Playa de los Pescadores on the right by the train station. THE Maresme coast offers many beaches to choose from, many of them have the Chiringuito beach bars (open from April to September) where you can eat, drink, and dance right on the beach!
You can catch a train in Vilassar to take you to the center of Barcelona or up to the coastal town of Blanes in the Costa Brava.

We do recomend that you hire a car if you come to stay.

This is a beautiful house with a private terrace pool that you can enjoy exclusively without having to share it with others like in many other places. The property is located in a tranquil area between the sea and the mountains, providing a perfect setting for a relaxed and peaceful stay.

The nearest beaches, Cabrera de Mar and Vilassar de Mar are only a 5-minute drive away. La Playa de los Pescadores in Vilassar de Mar is located on the right side of the train station. The Maresme coast has a variety of beaches to choose from, and many of them have Chiringuito beach bars which are open from April to September. You can enjoy food, drinks, and dancing right on the beach!

If you wish to explore the area further, you can catch a train in Vilassar de Mar that will take you to the centre of Barcelona or up to the coastal town of Blanes in the Costa Brava. However, it is recommended that you hire a car if you plan to stay here.
