Weekend Stay

Quiet, secluded and spacious property that suited our needs perfectly. Having an actual kitchen in which to cook a meal was a much-appreciated feature.

Nice and quiet

Great spot that is a good base to explore both Vermont and New Hampshire. It's a cute house. Tucked away so it's nice and quiet.

Quick trip to visit family

The apartment is easy to get to, convenient to interstates and basic shopping needs (WalMart, gas stations, etc.). There's plenty of room so we were very comfortable.

Worked for a family stay

We stayed for a family reunion nearby so mostly just used it to sleep. The location works and it's a nice complex of apartments. The only drawbacks are one bathroom and the kitchen (which we used minimally) has a moth ball smell. The host helped us out in the heat by adding an additional air conditioner so it was quite comfy. Bed in the main room was also very comfy.

A very pleasant and comfortable accommodation

We had a great 2 week stay. The apartment (or unit) was clean, spacious and comfortable - there were just the two of us, and we had more than enough room to spread out. The kitchen, bathroom, and main bedroom were all fully equipped with every thing we needed. While we didn't take advantage of the property grounds (other than the laundry), the location was perfect for our Vermont and New Hampshire day trips. Communicating with Allison and the check-in was effortless. We highly recommend!

Better than a motel

Very spacious! But I feel like the bathroom could have been cleaned a bit better. Definitely trumped going to a hotel. The mattresses were all so hard though, we had 3 sleepless nights because of the mattresses. But the couch was cozy! Checking out and checking in were easier than expected, and the cost per night was pretty reasonable. I wouldn't mind staying there again in the future.

Vacation

Wonderful Place and so relaxing. I did leave my leather Jacket in the closet. I totally forgot after i got home. I live 4 hours away. I made several attempts to reach the host to inquire if there is a lost and found however, no reply. I would love to stay again!

Lovely Property with Amazing View Only Steps Away!

My girlfriend and I recently traveled to this property to enjoy the 2024 Total Solar Eclipse. We wanted that small town vibe while also not being far from the mountains. This property was perfect for everything we needed! It’s located right near the New Hampshire border which was perfect for shopping because NH does not have any sales tax. The property itself was a little old (which is understandable considering it was built in the 1880s), but the place was clean and had just what you need. The kitchen was equipped with essential applications/utensils. The bed in the main bedroom was exceptionally comfortable. Best of all, the house is located just up the hill from a spectacular view of a river with mountains in the background, great for photos. I would highly recommend staying here!

The property is mostly clean. It is very spacious. The parking is easy. The host was willing to try and be accommodating. It's just that she is not on the property. She really does not know how her property manager is keeping the property. We travel a lot and mostly stay in B&B and vacation homes. In fact for this trip, we were using two other accommodations and we are just used to having things like coffee available and creamer and sweetener and salt and pepper and water and the candles working and nice pictures on the walls and Either cute or pretty or cozy or warm and fuzzy things and properties kept up.

Winter stay

The house felt honey and we enjoyed our stay. The only drawback was that the weather was white cold and the house is old (and charming) but cold. Thankfully there was an auxiliary heater we could use.
