The villa was amazing and the location was perfect - very quiet but close enough to local shops and restaurants etc. The villa was very clean and the service provided by the company was of high level. They provided a meet and greet service which was all about providing information as opposed to trying to sell local tours etc (which is usually what happens). We will be going back

Wunderschön. Top Lage.

Wir waren in der Villa Olivia. Die Villa liegt wunderschön zwischen Orangenbäumen und Bananenstauden. Herrlicher Blick aufs Meer. Der Garten ist sehr gepflegt und groß. Wir konnten Zitronen und Orangen ernten. Wir haben außen gefrühstückt und gegrillt. Die Villa war sehr sauber und gepflegt. Die Ausstattung sehr gut. Für uns, 2 Familien ein perfekter Urlaub. Wir würden jederzeit wieder kommen. Vielen Dank an alle Mitarbeiter des Cyprus Villa Team. Ihr macht einen guten Job.

Our family holiday an overwhelming success

MY REVIEW FOR CAPTAIN’S VILLA - PEYIA My husband and I took our married children and 4 grandchildren to this luxury villa for a ten day family holiday. The villa is situated on a quiet mountainside just outside the village with amazing views down to the coastline and beyond. It is tastefully decorated and houses all one’s needs to make a dream vacation come true. The pool and it’s surroundings were enjoyed for many hours of each day. It’s closeness to Peyia and Corallia’s sandy beaches made it a perfect location. The 30 minute drive to Latchi (passing through delightful villages) for speedboat hire enabling us to swim and snorkel in the Blue lagoon was an absolute highlight, so much so, we did it twice. My kids went buggy driving through the Akamas Reserve another well enjoyed day. If we stayed at the villa we cooked and baked to our hearts content in the well equipped kitchen. We had glasses for smoothies, pool-side beakers for mojitos. BBQ’s for the fresh fish bought down at the harbour. We needed for nothing. We invited Angie to work her magic massages on our tired bodies. We played table tennis and snooker and football in the evenings before sliding into the hot tub. Only when the kids were exhausted and we wanted a little peace did we turn on the huge TV. What more can I say? Well I can mention the team, from the moment I contacted them they listened and answered all my questions. When we arrived they came to greet us and help us plan our stay. If we had any extra requests or day to day hiccups they were immediately there with a smile. I cannot express often enough what a well organised, friendly team operate Cyprus Villa Retreats. I am totally recommending them. My husband and I will return 100%. Thank you for making our family holiday an overwhelming success. It truly was a scrumptious holiday. My kids loved it, my husband and I felt like we’d given them the holiday from our heart. Thank you all again

Fantastic!!

This villa truly deserves the name ‘Captain’s Villa’ since it exceeds the grand name in so many ways! Extremely private and beautifully situated on the mountainside of the cosy village of Peyia, the villa has the most amazing views over Coral Bay and the sea. We especially enjoyed the big sun deck around the pool during the day and the beautiful sunsets while having dinner on one of the terraces at dusk. The beach is only 10 minutes away, but in all honesty the kids preferred playing around the big pool area and especially loved the games room with snooker, ping pong and foosball tables. This villa is even nicer than in the pictures and upon arrival, clean and taken care of. After a very hectic period back home, it felt like exactly what we needed, our own personal oasis perched above the Mediterranean! I would definitely recommend this villa to anyone, the kids loved it, and even my in laws had an amazing time ;) We already booked next year and would like to thank Cyprus Villa Retreats for such an amazing holiday! A Perfect Paradise

As soon as we arrived we knew it was going to be better than we expected.A truly stunning villa with literally everything you could possibly need to unwind.Clean,spacious,luxurious, with many leisure facilities for adults and children alike.From start to finish Frank and his team were fantastic,always available from first booking to all the way through the holiday helping us book days out at Latchi watersports for boat and jetski hire and giving us local knowledge of resturants like the Rio Grande and La Vigna in Coral Bay which were fantastic.I would recommend this villa to anyone who wants a perfect holiday and we will certainly be returning in the future.

wow had such a nice stay!

We had a great time in the cozy and luxurious villa with friends and children. Very enthusiastic about the quality of the villa with comfortable sun beds, delicious hot tub and wii games. We had so much fun and enjoyed the sunny barbecues aswell. I would recommend this villa to future guests!

grandiose urlaubsvilla

wir, 2 familien mit 3 kleinen kindern, waren begeistert von der villa. das haus bietet alles, was man für einen urlaub benötigt und noch vieles mehr. die ausstattung war wirklich hervorragend. das haus ist sehr geräumig und sehr sauber. selbst 2 familien finden hier genügend freiräume. frank war sehr hilfreich und versorgte uns mit guten tipps. das hausbesorgerehepaar war äußerst freundlich und immer zur stelle, wenn ein problemchen auftauchte. die villa können wir nur wärmstens weiterempfehlen.

Simply wonderful

We are a family of 4 with two children aged 7 and 10 and we loved this beautiful, spacious villa, with everything tht you could need for a relaxing break. From the offset, Frank was friendly and helpful, and even met us at the villa. Word of warning though, it was a little tricky to find. We had carefully planned the route with maps, but still hada little difficulty finding it. Thankfully though, Frank met us and guided us the final few yards to the villa. I would advise using a satnav if possible, just in case. Peiya village itself is quiet and rustic, with just a few bars and taverners, if you dont feel like going far, and the gorgeous Coral bay is a very short drive away. There is a fabulous bakery a 2 minute drive away that we got our croissants and pan au chocolat from every morning. The villa has breathtaking sea views from the front and beautiful mountain views from the back and photographs did not do these justice! The villa itself was spotlessly clean, and had everything you could possibly need. On arrival there was even a good selection of wine and beer in the fridge as well as other supplies such as milk, juice and coffee. This was a lovely touch as I know that there is sometimes a charge for this. I loved that, despite the fact that the villa was charming and peaceful it had all the mod cons you could ever need. The massive 65 inch, smart tv was a big hit with the kids, as was the wii U, and the playstation 4. I didnt think they would have the time for any of these but actually, at the end of the day when the sun had gone down and my husband and i were relaxing, or trying to get ready to go out, they were a godsend. There was a state of the art coffee machine, as well as a pool table, air hockey table, table tennis and table football. The pool was gorgeous and spotlessly clean. Someone came to clean it twice while we were there and it was always left sparkling. The hot tub was fantastic and we used it a lot, the kids were in it as much as the pool! The property managers (john and lynda) were on hand for any potential problems with the villa, and although we had none we did have to call for their help one day when we had a problem with our hire car. Despite the fact that it was a sunday morning and this was not their problem, they could not have been more helpful. They saved the day and would not take any money from us, and were genuinely lovely people. We cant recommend this villa enough and we wish we were back there now!!

Wow, Wow, Wow! This is in our opinion the jewel of the crown and definitely a 5* property! Our stay at the Captains’ villa was like a movie, so luxurious, you feel like a super star! It still has the authentic feeling but with a very modern touch. The service is excellent and the Villa is equipped with whatever you can think of. In the morning I got up and made myself a nice cup of tea (or coffee), went outside and enjoyed the weather and the remarkable beautiful view, astonishing! Our kids were playing snooker and table foosball or airhockey and we joined them for a game of table tennis. After that we took a dive in the pool, and had fun with water volley and swimming. Eating outside and cooking on the BBQ in the beautiful garden alone is a treat, don't forget to put on some sunscreen though! But there are also nice places in the shades. Being in the Captain's is amazing, read a book, take a swim, and relax while the kids are enjoying themselves with all the games (they also have an amazing huge TV with PlayStation and movies, but I rather stayed outside). The views and especially the sunset is miraculous, it's even worth your while to get up early and watch the sun come up. In the evening when it gets more chilled, we went in the hot tub and enjoyed the breathtaking starry night. Or when it was a hot night, we put the hot tub on 35 degrees, stay in till we were cold and then go to amazing, wonderful nice beds! I have back problems, but not with this bed!!! Makes me think I want to take this bed home with me! We could stay and amuse ourselves enough at the Captains. There are beautiful places around Akamas and Phafos, so we rented a car and went site seeing. Don't forget to go to Agios George, beautiful church and coast. Drive along the coast to find wonderful beaches. "See you beach bar" is a nice place to stay and they have amazing tosti's. Meze, the best at Imogen's Inn Taverna in Kathikas. The owner of the villa has a good cooperation with "Latchi watersports Centre", were you can rent a boot and see the wonderful nature of Akamas from the see side. We also rented a tube for behind the boat, which was lots of fun! The Captain villa is an amazing place to stay, especially with family and/or friends. It's big enough to feel free and small enough to connect with each other. We were there with family and friends and it was wonderful! We wish you all a holiday as marvelous as ours!
