Apartamento de lujo bien equipado en el centro de Reykjavik. Mi lugar está cerca de la vida nocturna, el transporte público y las actividades familiares. Te encantará mi lugar por la cocina, la ubicación y los cosenos. Mi lugar es bueno para parejas, aventureros en solitario, viajeros de negocios y familias (con niños).

El apartamento que es más como un apartamento de hotel es un apartamento de lujo ubicado en la zona más popular del centro de la ciudad.
Desde el apartamento se tardan solo 3 minutos en llegar a la calle comercial más grande de Reikiavik con una selección de tiendas, restaurantes y bares. Vista a la montaña desde el apartamento y 5 minutos a pie hasta el océano donde también se encuentra el Reykjavik Music Hall.

Within walking distance of so much! Elevator is a nice plus. TV and couch are huge! Bus stop #9 is super close for tours and pick up. The tap water really is good. The first day it was kind of weird but if you let it run for a minute, it’s delicious. Don’t waste your money on bottled water. Tip: leave the shower on the cold water. If you don’t, you’ll scald!

The Host Ghosted Us

The host to this property never gave us any information about how we were to check-in to the property. I wrote the morning of our reservation that we would be arriving around 5:00 pm that day and requested he let us know about the check-in process. When we arrived at the property, we tried to ring the apartment, but got no answer. I was able to get his cell # through the VRBO app and tried to call him several times with no luck. I finally called VRBO Customer Service and that tried to contact him as well with no luck. After being on the phone for over an hour, they eventually canceled the reservation, refunded our money and we had to find other accommodations at the last minute for the 4 of us. I would advise anyone who is considering renting this apartment to, look elsewhere. Otherwise you may end up in the same mess we did.

Great location

Unbeatable location with water and Mountain View’s. Close to shopping and one block from tour and airport pick up area. Elevator building, plenty warm on cold nights. Very comfy for our party of 5.

Nice two bedroom in a great location

Great location, apartment is well laid out, has all you need in the kitchen. Great neighborhood close by with everything you need and want to see . We would stay there again.

Great area for access to restaurants and shops

Instructions on how to get to apartment were not very specific. The access to the building is not on the street that the address is listed as. You have to turn right when you see building 44 and go up to a driveway on the left and that is building 42. We wandered around for quite awhile until we found someone who told us how to get there. Overall, apartment was good. We wished we had a microwave, but did without. Good location for shopping and restaurants. Beds were comfortable.

Clean Apartment; Great Location.

He had a four night stay in this comfortable apartment. The location was perfect, so close to downtown and the harbor. Gunnar was very responsive and communicated accurately.

Great location!

This is a really nice unit and is very close to some main areas in town. Walking distance to so many stores and restaurants. We stayed in the summer and had a great time.

Has everything you need for a small group

Comfortably could have 6 people if you had two sleep on the large, comfy couch. Location gives you walking distance to anything downtown comfortably. Parking was a little bit of a hassle but nothing to detract from the location if you're patient and plan ahead. I would say that it was difficult to get in touch with the owner in a timely manner, but we didn't end up in a situation that was critical. Just be aware though. Overall, very wonderful!

Great Property

It was a great property and very very well located. Away from the real crowded area of town yet you could get to that part if you wanted to. Shopping of all kinds literally up the street. Would definitely recommend the property

Great location

We enjoyed our stay. Overall, the apartment is as it appears in the photos. The best part is the location. It is a short walk to the bay in one direction and the main shopping street in the other. There is a well stocked mini market ,open until midnight just a few blocks away. The day we arrived and for a day and a half thereafter, the elevator was broken.This is certainly not the owner’s fault, but it was very challenging to get our things up to the 4th floor. The parking situation can also be somewhat inconvenient. Except for three spaces , all of the parking in close proximity is reserved. Sometimes one of the three spots was available,but at other times we had to park blocks away.Once we learned about the parking app it was a little easier. There were no instructions for the use of the stove and oven and it took us quite a bit of time to figure it out. It was difficult to climb in and out of the shower/tub. There are no grab rails and it is high and slippery. The space in the apartment is very good ,and the bed was comfortable. The owner was reachable and responsive.

Cancelled reservation

The owner cancelled the reservation 3 hours before check-in, causing my group to sleep in our car with our luggage. This cancellation for a group traveling internationally is an affront to the services Vrbo claims to offer and absolutely ruined our trip. I paid for Jul 2 to Jul 6, 2022 in January of 2022.

Great apartment

This is a modern apartment in a great location. Furnishing are good but kitchen is sparse but adequate. Lots of shopping and food in walking distance.
