Property was secluded and quiet yet close to everything.. great location. Cottage was clean, comfortable, with easy check in and check out. Karen, the host, was available for questions. Would definitely stay here again! TY Karen and Larry.

The space is clean, well maintained, and the yard is gorgeous. It's close to a lot of things in the area, but you feel like you are out in the country away from everything. The hosts were wonderful and very responsive. No one was there the night before we checked in and they let us check in early. Cookies and fresh flowers greeted us when we arrived. There were plenty of BIG fluffy towels (as someone with long hair and also a tall husband, that's always good). We didn't use the kitchen, but it was well stocked and gallons of water were provided for the coffee maker. My only complaint was that it was not made clear in the listing that there is no AC. I know it's Montana, but I'm a 46 year old woman that needs it cool when I sleep, or sleep is not happening. We opened the windows at night and ran the ceiling fans, but there is a bug zapper outside the window that zapped bugs all night. That's a very jarring sound every 5 minutes. As mentioned by a previous reviewer, the space is completely separated from the hosts living space by a garage, so that is nice. We felt like we had privacy. However, as also mentioned previously, the window of the bedroom opens into the hosts screened in back porch. We never saw anyone out there, but it definitely felt weird changing or being in my pajamas (remember -- had to leave the window open for air flow when we were there in a warmer month) with the possibility of someone walking into the porch. Cooler months or ok with heatthumbs up!

I feel like i was misled by host. Before booking, i communicated with property owner over concerns with privacy; it was difficult to judge from photos, but the “cabin” appeared to be attached to a larger dwelling. The owner assured me that the “cabin” was an independent dwelling, and that “it was on large acreage and very quiet.” The listing boasted “no neighbors.” All indications pointed to what we were seeking and i decided to go for it. Upon our arrival we realized that the “cabin” was not really a cabin but an attached dwelling to their house-specifically, attached to their garage. Our bedroom window gave out to the family’s screened in porch which offered no privacy whatsoever, and we could easily hear all activity there as well as in the garage (door opening at 6:30AM). Host “warned” me that they were having a large dinner on their porch during our last evening there. We were compelled to leave the property during this time since guests were practically looking inside our bedroom window while we were trying to nap. We found this to be extremely rude since we had booked this reservation over a month prior. Reviews indicated that the hosts were beyond friendly, but we found them to be cold and we felt completely ignored (except when they were looking through our bedroom window, lol).Overall, a somewhat decent experience although the space was soulless.

The unit is very clean and quiet. The property grounds are exceptional. The KL Mountain Vista is conveniently located for getting around Bozeman and accessing I-90.

Super clean, good for a single or a couple

This was a super clean property and was perfect for our stay which was to visit family. We really just used this to sleep. The amenities for this were perfect, the property beautiful. The communication with the owner accurate. My mother (83) had the bedroom and I took the pull out couch. The owner warned me the pull out was uncomfortable without a topper and I asked for a topper. It was provided and done, again the owners were great. However, even with a topper no human over the age of 5 should sleep on that bed. Maybe a 10 yo but a small one. The only other thing I would say is that the sprinkles at 3:30am hit the side of the house with force. The occupant of the bedroom did not hear it. The kitchen is well stocked, the coffee fantastic. Check out instructions were clear and easy. Great place for one person or two sleeping together. Pull out couch should not be an option.

Beautiful and quiet. Awesome accommodations!!!

We had a great stay and it is an awesome place. Very beautiful and we really enjoyed the BBQ in the gazebo and cooked there most nights. Karen was a very gracious host. Listing should state that there is no air conditioning just really nice ceiling fans. House was labeled really well with instructions for everything.

Wonderful stay!

Our cottage was great with a charming country atmosphere. Yet, It was close to the airport, downtown Bozeman and proximity to activities. The cottage and property were clean; the kitchen was well equipped. It was a wonderful stay. The host was extremely welcoming and kind!

Peaceful Retreat

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Mountain Vista. The location was so quiet and we were surrounded by nature including a deer who visited a few times. The landscaping is beautiful; Karen and hubby take wonderful care of the yard and property. When we had questions, they responded quickly and were very pleasant hosts. The apartment was perfect for the two of us ; well appointed kitchen, good wifi, comfy bed, and all the amenities we needed. It was convenient to everything we visited in the area. We would happily stay there again. Thanks Karen!

Cozy and quiet!

Cozy, clean, and close to everything! You get the feeling of seclusion, but with access to all the nearby amenities of Costco, Target, and Walmart. The kitchen sufficiently supplied and the hosts were accessible and friendly. It is 90 mins from the North entrance of Yellowstone. We had a great time. We will be back for sure !

Home Away From Home

Our main purpose for visiting Bozeman was to spend time with our grandson who is attending MSU. Our grandson’s main purpose for our visit was to enjoy Grammy’s home cooked meals! This VRBO provided the perfect opportunity for this to happen. The kitchen even came with a rice cooker and crockpot. Situated in a very picturesque location, in the middle of nature, was a plus. This VRBO met or exceeded all of our expectations.

Quiet and secluded stay but super close to everything!

Perfect location for us to stay in while visiting family in Bozeman. Quiet, secluded, and just the right size for our week in Bozeman. Only downside is no air conditioning but fans in bedroom and front room. Open the windows (screened) and the breeze (and fresh air) was great! Nice touch with the rabbit outside every day (wild rabbit who liked to nibble on the grass). :) Hosts were super friendly and fun to chat with.

A Peaceful Must Stay Location

This exactly as the description promised, easy location close to the airport and local amenities, and a quiet location. I stayed for a week at this place and had a wonderful time traveling to Livingston, Big Sky, and all over Bozeman. The hosts prepared the area very well and stocked it well with essentials that made it convenient for a solo traveler (like a hair dryer, first aid kit, and coffee!). I am excited to return someday and cannot recommend this rental enough, as it is perfect for a single person or couple. Overall, I would recommend this to anyone looking for that ‘at home’ feel while you are away from home.

Montana Mountain Views

A wonderful place to stay for our visit to Bozeman. This rental is very well kept and clean. The kitchen is well equipped and stocked with coffee, tea, and some basic cooking supplies. The back yard is very nice with a furnished gazebo and gas grill which we enjoyed very much. There are beautiful views of the mountains from there too. We also saw deer, cranes, ducks, and pheasants hanging around the property. The proprietors live on-site and are very nice and easy to work with. Hoping for availability here the next time we come to Bozeman!

Beautiful Property

Your host resides on the property. I am retired after a 40 year surgical nursing career at the Bozeman hospital. I raised my family at KL Mountain Vista. It was our homestead that had a conglomeration of animals over the years. May you enjoy this bit of heaven here as we have since 1978. In 1995 we built the present farmhouse and cottage. I love people and have missed the interaction so have decided to bring people to me! I am excited to share the splendor and uniqueness of this oasis.
