Excellent and Spacious

Ms Rita was awesome. She lives on the property, but has her own entrance and never saw her while we were there. Very spacious, clean, and wonderfully decorated home with a humongous backyard. Will definitely be back. Have rented so many homes in and near San Antonio and this one thus far has made it to our #1 on our list.

Great Stay

Ms. Rita is super great, kind and quiet. The house is fantastic. It's close and in a nice neighborhood. Easy to find. Plenty of space. The communication is a little rough, but I think that's the platform's fault, not Ms. Rita's. Also I didn't see on the site that she lives in the house but has her own entrance. She was out of our way and we hardly saw her. Overall it was a WONDERFUL and relaxing weekend. Thank you so much!

AC terrible; response not satisfactory

The air conditioning wouldn’t go below 77 degrees in the downstairs; upstairs didn’t have a thermostat but temp was at least 15 degrees hotter. Unbearable heat. Host did not respond to texts about AC until I called , then she texted me back to say it hadn’t been working well but she usually kept it at 74 which she thought was comfortable. She said she was sorry we weren’t happy with that and sent a sad face! Also when we arrived she was at the property she informed me she lives there, which I was unaware of. It was very awkward having her in the house, even with a separate entrance knowing she could access the house at any time while our property was there. One of the “perks” offered was a keurig with coffee available. There were 3 pods of peppermint coffee only available. She said there was some coffee in the cupboard if we wanted to fill pods for other coffee. She said there was none of the other things usually available as she hadn’t had time to go shopping to have anything available. Also money was tight so she hasn’t purchased anything. Rita was friendly but not a good host. House is over stuff with ornate decor but no comfortable furniture to sit in and spend time together and just visit. This would never be a place I would recommend or use again ever!! In all the VRBOs I’ve ever stayed in, I’ve never felt as uncomfortable or less at-home as I did here. Also, sharing the driveway and never knowing where or what side of the driveway you will have to park on, when I had my elder sister that has mobility issues getting to and from the house made it especially difficult. All in all it was a disappointing weekend from the housing aspect. I feel very ripped off and like I was mislead all the way!

Perfect for 4!

Rita was a wonderful hostess! Her property is well-located, comfortable, clean, and has a kitchen with everything you could need. The location is quiet and in a cul-de-sac with virtually no traffic. An enjoyable stay.

We loved our time at Ms. Rita’s. She was great with communicating and made us feel at home. Once we checked in, we never saw her as she has a separate entrance and living area. The neighborhood was convenient to everything we wanted to do in San Antonio. We would definitely stay here again.

Fantastic San Antonio Location, Wonderful Host

This property is in a wonderful location to many San Antonio sights. In just less than 30 minutes we were able to get to downtown to see The Alamo, enjoy the Riverwalk, and Market Square. In the same amount of time we went east to Six Flags where we easily could have come back to the house for an afternoon siesta and gone back for evening fun. There are plenty of restaurants and places to shop all around. Rita was a wonderful host and was there when we arrived to show us around and give us a key. She was so kind and welcoming and made us feel at home right off the bat. The only reason I gave "accuracy of online listing" four stars in stead of five was that it was not mentioned in the listing that Rita lives on property. THIS WAS NOT AN ISSUE AT ALL, we saw Rita when we arrived and left, that was it. She has her own entrance and living area not accessible to guests. I just thought it should be mentioned in the description so all are aware. It did not bother us one bit. The house fit our family of 5 perfectly, and my teenagers liked the loft space, a great hangout for them. If it wouldn't have been so hot, the backyard area would have been perfect for grilling and relaxing. We highly recommend this property and would stay here again.

Beautiful Property

My family stayed for two nights. The house is absolutely beautiful and immaculate when it comes to cleanliness. Its so warm and welcoming. We had everything we needed and more on this trip.. The neighborhood is very nice, quiet and peaceful. We were 20 to 30 minutes away from every place on our itinerary ( Natural Bridge Caverns, Guadalupe River, River Walk, Alamo) The owner Ms. Rita is super sweet and accommodating. We look forward to staying at this property again when we visit San Antonio.

Family celebration

The property is in a good condition, clean, everything is near by, easy access to freeway and a the owner is really helpful and kind, I'll be sure to book up again whenever I'm back, my recommendation is a higher.

Bachelorette Weekend

Great weekend! She left snacks and drinks for us. She had towels folded very cute. Only thing I didn’t realize was she lived on property, but we never saw her after the check in process. She is such a nice lady!
