Brilliant stay and best support

We had lovely 2 weeks in this nice property, with an amazing pool and view over Tuscany. Everything was simply perfect and the support and help and tips from Francesca and Farid was so great and helpful. The best beaches are just 20mins away, as well as supermarket, restaurants and a lot of things and places to see. This all made a perfect holiday experience, and we will surely come back again later.

Great place to stay!

We had an amazing holiday at this property. House is big, so we had plenty of room as a family of four. Swimming pool was just amazing! It’s very big and also chlorine free, which was important for us. The owners of the house are very nice people, we had lots of good tips and help from them and even their own olive oil as a present! Would definitely stay there again

Super holiday

We had a very nice holiday at this home. We went here with 3 adults (age 43, 49 and 69). Because of the pandemic we wanted a home where we could relax in our own bubble. And it was super! A place where you can relax! The pool was great! And what a view! We enjoyed every sunset.

Amazing hosts and accommodation

We have had the most wonderful few days at Il Bagolaro. The accommodation is wonderful and very spacious with an amazing pool and beautiful countryside. The hosts are incredibly welcoming and helpful and we can’t wait to return - we’ll definitely be back. You will need a car as you are in the middle of the countryside but supermarket and restaurants are about 10 mins away and lots more choice if you don’t mind driving a little further. The hosts live on site but the accommodation is very private. We’d like to extend a huge thank you to the hosts for looking after us so well. Many thanks, Tony, Jane, Zach & Herbie.

Perfect Authentic Tuscan villa

The villa was spacious. We are a family of four that travelled from the UK to find a mixture of authentic Italian (Tuscany) countryside to relax in. The pool was amazing & so was our weather ! From this perfectly tranquill base we managed to visit the beautiful village of Marsiliana, the port of Monte Argentario, the many beautiful beaches of Tuscany to watch the sun down, the lovely town of Orbetello, the City of Rome, the beautiful town built into the italian hillside of Pitigalino, the lakes of Bolsena, Siena & Pisa. If your happy to drive these excurtions are achievable in a day. We thoroughly enjoy the peace & tranquliity of the pool at the villa on days where we did not wish to travel. Francesca & family were lovely & helpful in anything we needed & even gave us chairs & umbrellas for the beaches. The island of Giglio is a must as a day trip! beautiful. This has been an awesome much needed holiday for us all & Francesca & this villa comes highly recomended. Thank you ! We will hopefully be back.

Super holiday home in a stunning location

We (mum with 2 teenagers) were guests of Francesca and her husband for 14 days in July 2023. We were welcomed with open arms and immediately given a short tour of the house and garden. Beds were made and the house was clean and really well equipped with everything! Down to hand soaps in the bathroom, towels for kitchen, shower & pool, dishwasher cubes and even herbs and spices in the kitchen. After one week, the towels and bed linen were even changed! We received two bottles of delicious olive oil made from the olive trees from the property. A wonderfully delicious gift! We also thought the Gustav Klimt reproductions on the walls were a nice touch! The house is in a super location and from the driveway you have stunning views of the beautiful Tuscan hills. You can really enjoy the peace and quiet and the song of thousands of crickets. In the evening, we were regularly visited by the owners' lovely dog and, if we were lucky, also the cats 😊. We did unforgettable excursions and before and after the trips, there was of course the fantastic swimming pool. It really is gigantic! Much bigger than on the photos! The deep side does go up to 3m deep & on the other side you can stand. The owners of the property are extremely friendly & helpful! When we spotted a wasp nest it was immediately removed. One day the pool water had become greenish, but the owners spared neither expense nor effort to get the water crystal clear again! I can only say one thing: highly recommended!

Sehr netter Vermieter,mitten in der Natur,es ist schön abgelegen, jedoch ist man auch gleich im nächsten gelegenen Städtchen( 3 bis 4km ) . Das 2 Doppel-Bett ist eine Klappbett ,für die Jungen ganz ok. Uns hat es sehr gefallen. Zum Meer braucht man so 20-25 Minuten. Man kann auch selbstgemachtes Olivenöl beim Vermieter kaufen ist sehr gut. Wir hatten eine schöne Zeit.

Wunderschöner Aufenthalt

Wir haben unsere zwei Wochen sehr genossen. Francesca und ihre Familie sind sehr zuvorkommende und diskrete Gastgeber. Bungalow und Pool sind fantastisch. Wer Ruhe sucht, ist hier am richtigen Ort. Vacances reposantes en famille au coeur de la campagne toscane

Nous avons passe un merveilleux moment Tout est conforme a la description. La maison est spacieuse, la piscine est fantastique et le jardin magnifique, le tout entouré d'un champ d'oliviers. L'huile qui en en issue est d'ailleurs délicieuse . Cet endroit est vraiment tranquille, entouré de beaux paysages toscans et baigné de chants de cigales et d'oiseaux. La mer est facilement accessible en voiture. Les propriétaires sont adorables, discrets et de bon conseil pour l'organisation du séjour. Nous recommandons et avons bien envie de revenir! Casa immersa nel verde, piscina e giardino curatissimi ma pulizia interna da rivedere

La casa è immersa in un panorama magnifico e il giardino e la piscina della proprietà sono ben tenuti. I proprietari sono cortesi, molto ospitali e pet friendly. Leggermente scomoda la posizione per raggiungere farmacie, supermercati etc.. (non meno di 20km). Quello che ci è dispiaciuto è stato dover pulire la casa non appena arrivati perché pulita piuttosto superficialmente (c'era molta polvere, molte ragnatele, vetri pieni di "manate" e utensili da cucina ancora sporchi...), un vero peccato, altrimenti avremmo dato il massimo della valutazione

You should have said you didn't come through HomeAway because your credit card was not functioning - unless we are mistaken, we don't believe you settled Home Away's fee. Ater spending one night for a week's booking, if you had come through HomeAway, you would not have been reimbursed. Dirty? We fear this is a case of Rupophobia - a morbid threat of uncleanliness - as the house had been thoroughly cleaned before your arrival. It's a pity you din't even take the time to appreciate the magnificent swimming pool and the surroundings.

Wir , Eltern und ein Teenager, waren 14 Tage in Marsiliana, Die Wohnung ist sehr geräumig, unser Sohn hatte sein eigenes Revier ,Die Küche war klein, bot aber alles was man benötigt. Da ein Gasgrill mit Lavasteinen vorhanden war, haben wir die Küche kaum benutzt. Die Terasse ist gro§zügig und vom Haus der Besitzer abgewandt. Der Pool ist in unmittelbarer Nähe, ne ben dem Haupthaus der Besitzet, die sich stets diskret verhalten haben. Man fühlte sich völlig privat. Der Pool muss hervorgehoben werden, da die Größe bestechend ist und das Sprungbrett einen erheblichen Spaßfaktor darstellt. Die Vermieter sind unglaublich freundlich und hilfsbereit. Unbedingt nach Restaurants fragen. Jeder Tipp war super! Auch ansonsten sten war die unaufdringliche gleiche und freundliche Art sehr angenehm. Die Gegend ist wunderbar, da man abseits wohnt, aber binnen 20 min auch einen Strand erreichen kann und im Umkreis auch die tollsten Sehenswürdigkeiten der Umgebung liegen. Wir würden gerne wieder kommen , da die Mischung aus Ruhe und Entspannung und Action perfekt war. Danke an Francesca und ihren Mann, die beide so viele Sprachen sprechen, dass die Kommunikation sehr einfach war, Ach ja, wir haben kein Haustier, aber Tiber der Hund gesellte sich ab und an abends zu uns. Er hat wunderbare Manieren und wir waren fast enttäuscht, wenn er mal nicht vorbei schaute.

Sehr entspannter Urlaub in traumhafter Lage

Wir ( 2 Erwachsene mit 15 jährigem Sohn) haben unseren Urlaub sehr genossen. Das Haus ist schön und geräumig, es gibt 2 Bäder, die Küche ist typisch italienisch sehr klein- kochen eine kleine Herausforderung! Das Haus könnte ein wenig sauberer sein, die Außenanlagen sind südländisch super gepflegt . Die Terrasse ist sehr privat und der Ausblick super! Der Pool liegt leider etwas abseits vor dem Haus des Vermieters-allerdings nicht abschrecken lassen! Die Vermieter sind super, sehr auf die Privatsphäre der Gäste bedacht und sind nur ganz selten zu sehen. Allerdings sind sie immer ansprechbar und haben uns viele Restauranttips gegeben, die alle fantastisch waren! Unbedingt probieren sollte man den Rosato aus dem ca. 3km entfernten Chimera- Weingut! Mein Mann, ein begeisterter Taucher hat mit den ArgentarioDivers in Porto Ercole eine tolle Tauchbasis gefunden und wunderschöne Tauchgänge gemacht . Zusammenfassend waren wir sehr zufrieden und werden bestimmt nochmal in die Südtoscana kommen! Ein großartiges Fleckchen Erde!!

Wunderschönes Ferienhaus mit tollen Besitzern

Das Ferienhaus ist geräumig und mit allem ausgestattet, was man für einen ungestörten und erholsamen Aufenthalt benötigt. Die Besitzer haben uns sehr freundlich willkommen geheißen und uns immer mit Tipps weiter geholfen. Der Pool ist wunderschön, groß und mit allen Poolspielzeugen ausgestattet, die man sich wünschen kann. Für Rollstuhlfahrer ist das Haus sehr gut geeignet. Es war eine tolle Woche und wir kommen sicher wieder!

Lovely villa set in beautiful countryside

The villa is approx an hour and a half drive from Rome Fiumicino airport. It's set in beautiful, rural Tuscan countryside with amazing views and sunsets. A rental car is definitely required to get to the villa and to explore the surrounding area. It has a large swimming pool (a lot bigger than in the photos) which has steps at the shallow end and a diving board at the deep end, which the kids absolutely loved. The owners live in the main house right by the pool and the villa is a separate building located to the side. The villa was spacious enough for the five of us and had air conditioning which is a must. It consists of two bedrooms, bathroom, living room (with TV) and a small kitchen. The villa owners were very helpful and knowledgeable, and were always willing to give us advice and tips. They do own a dog which our kids were a bit wary of at first but soon grew to like him. The villa is surrounded by olive trees, also they make their own olive oil. There is a supermarket about a 10 minute drive away. Mosquitos were a problem and they certainly took a fancy to my wife!! So a tip would be to take some anti-mosquito spray away with you. If you're looking for a peaceful holiday then I would recommend this villa.

Mixed feelings about this comfortable stay

Very nice bungalow with a large covered terrace and a magnificent swimming pool on a very quiet location in the countryside. There was one problem only. The guests before us had a dog and the hairs were everywhere. After we cleaned the house and put away all the rugs we had a very pleasant week. The lady of the house acknowledged the dog's hairs and apologized. But later she insisted that the cleaning lady had worked for four hours in the house. Anyway, she forgot the floors, the area around the toilet and the rather greasy shelves in the kitchen. An awkward situation for us all. A pity that we didn't see the lady anymore, not even when we came to say goodbye. The man is very friendly and helpful with many tips.

We regret this lady was not satisfied with the cleaning of the house but we fail to see why she felt it necessary to turn all the furnishings in the house upside down, put a new table cloth (!) on a bed (instead of the existing bedspread) she wasn't even using, put all the contents of the cupboards out on display and remove all the rugs in the flat! Her very exacting standards of cleanliness seemed rather exagerated! It is indeed a pity I cannot always be available.

Sehr ruhiges, gut klimatisiertes Haus mit riesigem Swimmingpool

Wir, ein Ehepaar mit einem Hovawartrüden, waren vom 26.05.-23.06.2018 in Marsiliana. Wir haben im wesenlichen das Haus so angetroffen, wie es bei FeWo-direkt beschrieben war. Das Haus der Besitzer befindet sich mit auf dem sehr großen Grundstück, was aber nicht störend ist, da diese sich sehr zurückhaltend und zuvorkommend verhalten haben. Ein absolutes Highlight ist der grosse, ungechlorte und saubere Swimmingpool zur alleinigen Nutzung, in den sogar unser Hund hinein durfte. Ein wenig getrübt hat den sonst sehr schönen Urlaub die Tatsache, dass auf dem Grundstück ein mittelgroßer Rüde der Besitzer seinen Wachpflichten nachkam und leider mehrmals mit unserem angeleinten Hund aneinander geriet. Gegenüber Menschen ist er sehr frundlich. Zusammengefasst eine gute Empfehlung für die südliche Toskana.

Superb villa

We are a family of four and the villa was very spacious. There is everything you could possibly need and the beds were comfortable. The pool is large and clean with a diving board - 3 metres at the deep end. Also has plenty of seating around the pool with lovely views. There are plenty of lovely towns and villages within 30-45 minutes' drive with stunning scenery all the way. Places of particular interest are the thermal waters at Saturnia but take water shoes as it is quite stoney, and Pitigilano which is built into the hillside. Francesca and her family were very welcoming and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. We will definitely be back again.
