NUEVO: Green Mountain Falls Summer Home

Exclusiva casa de verano ubicada en un lote junto a la montaña en la ciudad de Green Mountain Falls. Grandes áreas de estar al aire libre con una gran terraza relajante en la parte delantera de la casa. Esta casa de verano se encuentra en un lote privado compartido con el histórico "Rose Cottage" de Green Mountain Falls de 1880. La cabaña se encuentra frente a la casa de verano y no está ocupada. Además, el lote está adyacente al comienzo del sendero Catamount Falls que conduce al embalse Pikes Peak Catamount.
El nivel superior de la casa cuenta con una gran sala grande. Esta habitación cuenta con techos con vigas abiertas y pisos de madera hechos con madera reutilizada de más de 100 años. Además, encontrará una chimenea, dos salas de estar, TV de pantalla plana y antigüedades que se encuentran originalmente en la histórica "Rose Cottage". La cocina cuenta con encimeras de granito y una combinación de modernos electrodomésticos de acero inoxidable y vintage.
Una caja de escalera abierta conduce al nivel inferior. El nivel inferior cuenta con 3 dormitorios (2 con tocadores privados) y 1 baño. También encontrará una lavadora y secadora compacta y almacenamiento para toallas y artículos de baño.

Family Get Away

Awesome three bedroom cabin on the side of a mountain. This location is positioned next to a trailhead with a great waterfall. We had a wonderful time exploring the trail and nearby attractions. I would book here again.

beautiful mountain cabin

The spacious cabin is conveniently located to Manitou Springs and mountains. There are plenty of dishes and cookware and it is beautifully furnished and decorated.

We love this cabin! Perfect for enjoying the hummingbirds, wonderful hiking all day long them coming back to that amazing view of wildlife. The whole family enjoys it so much!

This was a great place to stay while exploring the area. It was equipped with all the supplies needed for our 2 week stay. Very convenient to hiking trails, town of Green Mountain Falls, Woodland Park, Colorado Springs, and the main road. It was a quiet location-perfect for relaxing and enjoying nature-especially the changing of the leaves! This property is perfect for pets that love nature and hiking. Great communication with the host-very helpful. Parking was convenient and easy. Thanks! We will be back!

Great Cabin

Great little cabin, nice neighborhood. Views are good, the trail behind the cabin is nice and has a waterfall. The stars came out in force at night. And only a short drive to town or Pikes Peak. Exactly what I was looking for our Trip to watch the Hillclimb.

Quiet retreat in the mountains

We really enjoyed our stay, which was peaceful and relaxing. The house provided everything we needed to live comfortably. There are lots of stairs, so it was quite a task to cart bags in and out, but that didn’t diminish our enjoyment of our time at this quiet retreat in the mountains.

Great getaway!

This was just the getaway we needed. Super quiet, close to hiking trails, and the balcony was the perfect place for casual coffee mornings. We grilled, used the pizza maker, watched tv, chose a jigsaw puzzle and finished it… we wished we could have stayed longer. The host was really patient and super responsive also!

Great short trip!

We enjoyed the location of the cabin and its scenery and access to trails and activities in CS. Our daughter got sick on the trip and we had to leave early, and my husband forgot some of his clothes in a dresser. The host kindly shipped these to us. I appreciate the communication and understanding of the hosts as well as the comfortable atmosphere. A gem tucked away from the hustle of the city!

Wonderful area!

Clean; outstanding deck to drink coffee on, watch the sunrise as hummingbirds visit and deer walk by. Love that it’s near a dead end therefore no thru cars to worry about. Host was very responsive and accommodating. Also enjoyed the pickleball court, and found a pond/cute little town right near the front of the neighborhood.

Perfect family get-away.

My husband, three young sons, and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. We could sit on the upstairs patio and watch the boys play in the yard. Daily we saw wildlife such as deer and chipmunks outside the windows. The hiking trail started right by the property so was very convenient to get to. We have already been talking about returning.

Great Summer Vacation

My family had a great visit to the area and this house offered up the style of home that was perfect for a family hiking trip. Trails right out the back door, convenient to Manitou Springs, the Manitou Incline, Pike’s Peak Cog Railway, Garden of the God’s and much more. The 1 bathroom was a little challenging, but the host’s make up for that will all of the kitchen tools, appliances, grills with propane, and games to entertain. It is a nice, quiet area that you can relax in, enjoying the breakfast on the balcony watching the mule deer and a black bear wandering by. We will recommend to others.

Absolutely Perfect!

This was an amazing property in one of the most beautiful towns I have ever traveled to. Everything about this home and amenities was perfect. It is a beautiful cabin with the property owner providing everything you would need. The kitchen was fully stocked with anything and everything I needed cooking for my family. The open kitchen/living space was so comfortable and the perfect amount of space for me and my husband and our two teenage boys. This would be my go to property anytime I would want to visit Colorado. There is trail head access just steps from this property to the best hiking we found on our entire trip. Thank you to owner/host for sharing your beautiful cabin with my family!

Wonderful property

We pulled up at 11pm, and it was tricky to find! We were so surprised at how lovely everything was in the morning, both in the home and in the small Green Mountain Falls area! This area was a unexpected gem! We enjoyed hiking around the house, the trails and old resort lake, the cute restaurant area and just hanging out on the deck! It was our sons first time leaving USAFA since we dropped him off in June, and he loved feeling so far away, but it was only 35 minutes!

Cabin nestled in the mountains

This cabin was great and worked well for our family of 5. Clean and cool with the bedrooms downstairs and the kitchen and living area upstairs. The cabin is nestled in trees and the mountains, so with that come lots of nature. Unfortunately we did get stung by a couple of wasps so be on the lookout. The property is very close to all that Colorado Springs and surrounding areas has to offer. Green Mountain Falls is a cute little town with a great breakfast place called The Pantry. We would recommend this property for your family.
