Great place to stay for a large group, big living room and well stocked kitchen. Clean and exactly as expected. The detailed info sheet beforehand was useful, even to know what type of coffee makers!

This was a cozy place for me and my friends to stay! We loved the cleanliness and openness of both the inside and outside of the cottage. The owner, Mary, gave great to directions to the place. Unfortunately we couldn't get the fire going. It would have been helpful to have an axe to cut some of the firewood into kindling and some paper to help start the fire. We truly enjoyed our stay though and if the opportunity comes up again, we will be back!! Thank you.

Great little getaway!

The cottage is exactly as pictured, many updates and some old cottage charm. It has all of the amenities you need - just bring soap and shampoo/conditioner.We had such a wonderful time on the treed property (lots of shade) and deck. The beach is a short walk or a fast drive. The hosts were fantastic and always responded quickly, but we barely needed to reach out as everything was handled so professionally and well. We would definitely stay again!

Little getaway with family

Everything here was great - the description of the property was bang on. The host Mary answered all my (many) questions and addressed my concerns. Plenty of linens, towels, dishes, etc., so we felt right at home. We brought some things of our own but they were not needed. We used the BBQ while we were there which was nice and we enjoyed a campfire on two nights. The grocery store isn't too far away which was great. We'd absolutely rent this place again.

An incredible long weekend stay

We had a great long weekend stay at the Wine country cottage! It fit our group, 6 adults, 4 kids (ages 3,5,6,7) perfectly and was better than the pics. I think the add listing said that it's a 1.5 bath, which worried us, but there's actually 2 full and 1 half which we were happy to discover! The yard was perfect for the kids to run around and we were walking distance to restaurants and 2 wineries. Side note: Stay away from CREW, rude staff. North 42 Degrees had a great outdoor area for the kids to run around and occupy themselves, staff was incredible and wine was tasty. Mary was a super responsive host. Our group is already talking about booking again!

Great location and perfect house for a group!

Located within walking distance of restaurants and bars and local store, very large lot with no immediate neighbours which was so peaceful and felt secluded! The house I had a personal cottage feel with some very nice modern updates! Highly recommend!!! Thank you to our hosts!!!!

Second Summer in Colchester

Comfy place for 6 adults and 4 kids to spend time together. Close to many kid friendly things to do. The new kitchen is beautiful!

The house was great. Renovations were done to the kitchen and an extra two piece bathroom since last year and both were fantastic. Beach and park near by were perfect for the kids ages.

Cozy, quiet, spacious, nostalgic, perfect

A nostalgic, homely residence, with spacious interior, several bedrooms, and local amenities. We stayed for five days in Nov and enjoyed our time here. We had 7 of us, and there was still room for more. The hosts were very accomodating and great to work with. Would recommend to anyone.

Cousins Retreat

Quaint, spacious and oh so comfortable! Beautiful beds and neighborhood was exceptional. One concern….the odour of natural gas near the Bbq is constant. We left the cover off to disperse the gas. Should have that checked for a leak. Your gifts upon arrival were greatly appreciated and we all thank you! A wonderful experience we will do again!

Great place for a family gathering!

We were in the area for a wedding and had some family members staying. This property was spacious inside and out. We were welcomed with special treats and a personal note. Fabulous hosts! I would definitely recommend and would stay again!

A Great Family Stay

What a gem to find! We went with three families, including grandparents. The main floor bedroom and washrooms were a feature we needed and appreciated. Amazing location within walking/biking distance to the beach. Also perfectly situated for day trips around the county. The cottage was quirky and exactly what we needed for 6 adults and 4 children. Lots of space to run around or spread out when kids need space. The washer/dryer got a few runs over the week. Not a lot of storage space for dry food but we managed with coolers and crates. We definitely will come again. Thank you for a great family vacation!

Great place for old friends

Great for the whole family

We had a great stay with three generations under the same roof. The children enjoyed the surprises left for them. It was very windy so kite flying was a big hit. The place was clean and comfortable. Thanks for sharing your place with us.
