¿Sueña con la casa de troncos perfecta para una escapada a la montaña con toda la familia? ¡Dream Mountain Lodge es el que has estado buscando! Las ofertas incluyen una bañera de hidromasaje burbujeante, mesa de billar, mesa de ping pong, chimenea a gas, dos niveles de terraza y vistas a la montaña de largo alcance, todo a 15-20 minutos en coche de West Jefferson. ¿Qué más puedes pedir?

Cuando entras en Dream Mountain Lodge, una estatua de ciervo te saluda antes de siquiera subir al porche. Al abrir la puerta, le espera una cocina de lujo apta para un chef profesional. Con encimeras de granito, electrodomésticos de acero inoxidable y una isla con anafe y gabinetes de nogal, esta cocina seguramente complacerá. También hay asientos de taburete en la isla. Una mesa de comedor con capacidad para 8 ofrece mucho espacio para toda la familia, se encuentra entre la cocina abierta y la sala de estar.

El piso principal se abre desde la cocina a la espaciosa sala de estar con ventanas de catedral para disfrutar de las vistas a la montaña y la vida silvestre de largo alcance. El techo abovedado y las vigas a la vista se suman al carácter único de esta cabaña de troncos. Acurrucarse junto a la chimenea de piedra de piedra hasta el techo en una fría noche de Carolina Mountain para disfrutar pasar tiempo con sus seres queridos o ver una película en el televisor de pantalla plana.

Las amplias áreas de la cubierta ofrecen cómodos muebles de mimbre para disfrutar de las vistas a las montañas de largo alcance o, si lo desea, disfrutar de una comida al aire libre en la gran mesa de comedor al aire libre con capacidad para 5 personas en ese momento.

La suite principal temática "Oso" en el nivel principal cuenta con una cómoda cama king size y acceso a la terraza trasera para disfrutar de una taza de café y la tranquilidad de la naturaleza en su mejor momento en la mañana.

El lado opuesto del nivel principal ofrece dos dormitorios adicionales con un baño de salón compartido. La habitación temática "Deer" cuenta con una cama queen y la habitación "Moose" ofrece una cama doble.

Suba los escalones hasta el área del desván superior y encontrará otra suite principal con cama King, TV de pantalla plana e incluso hay un escritorio con impresora para aquellos que necesitan ponerse al día con los correos electrónicos o trabajar un poco durante las vacaciones. Dream Mountain Lodge también ofrece WIFI en todo.

¡Baja a la sala de juegos para entretenerte! El amplio den de nivel inferior ofrece una mesa de billar, mesa de ping pong y TV de pantalla plana para su disfrute. Family Get Away

The house and property were Awesome! Everything was very clean and the beds slept Great. The road into the property, however, was mainly one lane and very scary to travel. Try to limit how many trips you make in and out of the property. All in all, the property was Wonderful!

Stay was great!

Stay was great! Trash disposal was a little hassle. We stayed as a group of 10 people so leaving just 2 bags of trash was not enough and possible so we had to drive a few miles to go dump the trash. Also the road to cabin was treacherous one way so have to drive very careful especially in night. The entertainment room in bottom floor was great with a ping pong table and a pool table - we spent a good amount of time over there. I would recommend this place to others.

Marathon Weekend

Beautiful, peaceful, restful, weekend. Great cabin for large groups of family or friends. We were there to support a friend running the Grayson Highlands Ultra Marathon, just over the state line in VA. This cabin was a great location about 20 min from the park. We were able to easily drive back and forth throughout the day to meet our friend at race check points, as well as be close to outdoor recreation for the kids. Easy 20 min. trip to West Jefferson, NC when we needed groceries or other supplies. The drive up to the cabin is beautiful, and the cabin was great for our group of 11.

Temperature control was perfect. We cooked dinner and breakfast without issue in the sizable kitchen. Kids played pool and ping pong more than I would have imagined and also enjoyed the hot tub. Great place! Recommend without reservation.

The property description said 12 people. we were 11. The bed sheets smelled dirty or muddy, no pleasant at all. There wasn’t enough sheets and blankets to accommodate the other people in sofa-beds. The place can be better for the price charged by night.

Property could use some maintenance . Master bathroom fan nor shower light worked. Drain in master shower was very slow in draining- after 2 minutes in shower, standing in ankle deep water. Several lights burned out throughout house - den, kitchen table, outdoor, etc. Basement bedroom/ area was very musty smelling. Mattress lower level was extremely loud just to sit in it- highly recommend replacing. Toaster oven had something melted on top of it the day we walked in.

Isolated and old cabin, dated appliances

The cabin does not provide more than 1 roll of toilet paper per bathroom for 12 people staying 3 nights. Ridiculous!! Also, just one small slice of soap in each bathroom. Towels and bedsheets smell musty. Appliances are dated. Cabin’s approach road is treacherous, especially if you are leaving and there is another car coming in — your car will be facing a severe drop on left hand side. The hot tub had smelly gunk in it. Only saving grace was good view from the back balcony. But will definitely not stay here not recommend to others.

Needs Improvements

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was more than happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: While our overall stay at the home was a good one, it does need some improvements. First night, no TV (was fixed the next day, but went out again the following day). Downstairs glass door to outside, shattered with pieces of small glass falling onto floor. Reported it and was told it was on order (door should have been covered since there were 3 children staying on premises). Living room furniture not comfortable and the headboard and footboard in one of the bedrooms looked like it was about to cave in on the bed. Ping Pong table has seen better days and cue ball missing. Dead flies on floor in living room along with a mouse found dying on the kitchen rug our first morning. Our last night, a mouse found running around the bathroom on the first floor. Like to leave on a positive note...kids loved the hot tub, views were awesome, house was very reasonably priced. Would stay again if there were improvements.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We just got back from our stay at Dream Mountain Lodge. We enjoyed the layout of the cabin. There was a good amount of space and lots of things to do in the cabin itself which is nice for us because we like to sightsee then return in time to make dinner. The kitchen was not the best appointed kitchen but it did have the basics. The cabin had wonderful deck spaces. There are a few minor things that would make the stay a better experience. First, I highly recommend getting the dishwasher properly mounted. The mounting tabs were at the top and couldn’t be utilized there with granite. This caused the dishwasher to tip forward but even worse I almost cut myself several times on the sharp tabs. This is a hazard. Second, the furniture particularly in the main level living room could stand some comfortable custom cushions that fit the couches if you are attached to the wood frames. The furniture was not that comfortable. Last, we tried to plug in the dehumidifier in the ping pong room because it was damp in that particular room. It tripped the breaker. This should be remedied. Not sure if it’s a bad humidifier or breaker. Due to the plug shapes it really could use a dedicated outlet anyway and the panel is in that room. I know this sounds very critical, but we really enjoyed our stay. We would definitely be willing to stay here again in the future.

Great property

This was a perfect property for a group of mom and daughters for the weekend. We enjoyed the hot tub, the spacious open kitchen dining and living area, the back porch views. The beds were comfortable except the basement beds. They could be improved. We didn’t spend much time in the basement as we liked the main floor best. Cell service worked fine. Property management was attentive to our internet issue.

Family reunion in NC mountains.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: It was good to get together with my two sons and their families and we had a relaxing fun filled few days together. As far as the cabin goes, it was adequate for our needs. The furniture is tired and in need of updating. The main floor master bath tub/shower is really in need of updating and shower pressure very low. The nearest town of Jefferson is quaint and has several nice restaurants. The boys and kids enjoyed fishing and tubing on the New River. The one lane quarter mile gravel road to cabin entrance can get interesting when neighbors are going opposite direction. Overall, I feel that for the total price paid the value just isn't quite there.

Amazing Property

This property was amazing and plenty of room for our family friend snow tubing trip. The house was about an hour from tubing but we knew that before renting. We had a great time and will be booking again;)

The rental property staff was also amazing! The only downfall was all of the stinkbugs and ladybugs throughout the mountain house, but I do however know that is typical. Just a fair warning for some people who might not like bugs that much.

It was a very nice stay.

It was a nice stay. The property was beautiful. We loved the amenities such as the hot tub and the game area. The only issues were the cable wouldn't work at first and the hot water was gone after a few showers but other than it was a good stay!

Fabulous Venue

We brought together 12 women for my daughter's laid back bachelorette - the place could not have been more calm and relaxing! Everything was clean, organized, easy to access, and the management company proactively reached out to us to give the check in - the best experience to host a group of 12!
