Romantic Retreat: 10 acres, Bañera de hidromasaje, sala de cine

Situado en el corazón de las Montañas Verdes en diez acres. Vistas a las montañas y la sensación remota, pero a sólo 20 minutos de Warren / área Waitsfield o 10 minutos a Rochester. Esquiar o raquetas de nieve por la puerta trasera o acogedor y ver películas sobre cine en casa con más de 200 películas. Nuevo, con todas las comodidades modernas, pero hecho en estilo de cabina clásico. Disfrute de un paseo / trineo en el lugar o ir de excursión al cercano Camino Largo, a continuación, una bañera de hidromasaje relajante bajo las estrellas. 15 minutos de Middlebury Snow Bowl, a 25 minutos de Sugarbush y Mad River Glen o 45 a Killington. Gran natación, kayak, etc. Perfecto cualquier temporada!

Limitaciones de tamaño: La cabina es de 850 pies cuadrados por lo que no está diseñado para grupos grandes.. Tenemos un máximo de CINCO personas. Es una gran planta baja del espacio y dos dormitorios separados arriba. Tiene una sensación mucho más grande que su tamaño indica, sin embargo, debido a un loft de dos pisos más arriba. También hay una sala de barro / entrada de grandes dimensiones con una calefacción por suelo radiante para secar las botas de esquí y equipos de estiba. Es, por tanto, el más adecuado para parejas o familias pequeñas que buscan una cabina de calidad bien diseñado y equipado. Recomendación del automóvil 4wd: se recomienda tener un automóvil o camión 4wd en invierno y / o buenos neumáticos para la nieve.

NOTA: Tenemos un par de cámaras de video "Ring" que dan al exterior y me dan tranquilidad cuando la cabina se sienta por períodos prolongados. También sirve como un medio para contactarme en caso de que se olviden los códigos / claves, etc. Como es la ley, NO hay cámaras interiores ni ninguna en áreas exteriores privadas (bañera de hidromasaje, porche, patio, etc.). Respetamos su privacidad y proporcionaremos una imagen de lo que está en su campo de visión al momento del alquiler.

Our second time here, and we’ll be back again. The best part about this place is that the owner built it for his family, so everything has been thought through. Cozy stove, hot tub on snowy nights, great home theatre system. Handy to all kinds of skiing.

Everything about this stay was wonderful! Great communication from the host Jeff. The cabin was adorable and well equipped with everything we needed. The hot tub was a highlight! It’s a great place if you are looking for a cozy getaway. It also was more spacious than I expected!

This cabin was amazing, homey, cozy, and fully stocked with everything we needed. We loved the little nook, the projector, and the kitchen setup. Everything was super clean, and it was the perfect treat for my partner’s birthday.We also got really lucky with the winter weather so it wasn’t too crazy at all, which made the whole trip even better. There were plenty of nice activities around town, and we enjoyed every moment.We especially loved the fireplace, hot tub, and all the thoughtful touches throughout the cabin. We felt very welcomed and would definitely come back for a second stay!

Clean, cozy and comfy accomodations. We always enjoy the magical feeling of the Vermont mountains. This place is the embodiment of just that. It snowed for our first few days which made the hot tub, views and fire pit even more special.

We absolutely loved our stay at the romantic retreat cabin! The hot tub and movie projector were both wonderful, and the property is beautiful! Jeff was very helpful and communicative. Most items that we may have had questions about were either labeled with instructions or on the website/in the binder at the cabin. We came up to see the beauty of Vermont in October and we were so glad we could bring our dog Atticus with us! Such a relaxing weekend, and we plan to come back in the future, maybe to try the new cabin! Thank you Jeff, Ronni, and Lilly for such a great stay!
This is our English Mastiff, Atticus 🤎 He loved relaxing on the porch and hiking!

This private cosy cabin with rustic charm was well located for our trips to Waterbury, Stowe and other locations including hiking trails. It had everything we needed; indeed it sometimes felt a bit cluttered. Hot tub and fire were great. Had a lived in feel, and close to nature. Jeff was very good with comms and checking in. Did require an additional contract to be signed and access road was steep and unpaved. Maps of hikes etc were helpful.

Loved our stay here! The hot tub, fireplace, and theater was so cozy. The cabin had every convience we could need. The location is prime, right off scenic route 100, and very central to the state. Under 1.5 drive from any picturesque town in the state you could want to see.

We had the best stay at Romantic Retreat. Jeff is a wealth of knowledge about Vermont & things to do. His website is so helpful! The cabin was so cozy, clean, and well stocked with everything we could want or need. We enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub after hiking, looking at the stars, and watching some post season baseball on the projector. We hope to be back again someday!

This retreat was simply stunning. The cabin is absolutely gorgeous and adorable. The hot tub was amazing - especially after a round of golf and a long hike! We had a bonfire every night and even enjoyed watching MNF on the big screen projector (which had incredible quality!). This is the exact vacation my fiancé and I needed after non-stop travel for the 2 weeks before. I wish we could have stayed longer! Everything is easy to use and labeled, the guest book guide is very, very thorough. I have already recommended this to many of my friends if they ever wanted a retreat in the Vermont mountains! The host was very responsive and helpful as well. I really hope we’ll be back one day!

This is the second time staying here and it was just as good as the first time. It is clean and has pretty much everything you need. A must have for us is the fact that it is pet friendly!! It is close to many outdoor activities and in the evenings, we enjoyed the hot tub.If you have any questions or concerns the owner is always available to answer. We hope to be back again!!

A unique and charming cabin with modern amenities. The location is quiet and secluded yet very close to Vermont’s legendary Route 100 that is known for both its scenic beauty and ease of traveling North or South the entire length of the state. Jeff is a marvelous and caring host. We tremendously enjoyed the hot tub and movie-theatre-like TV. In a word - Fun!

Jeff is a Boston area architect/contractor from Concord, MA. He designed and restored the cabin on his own, working weekends for three years. Initially, his wife was reluctant to tackle such a project, but now done, she is the cabin's biggest fan. Designed and built for his family, Jeff has left no detail undone and enjoys sharing their home here with others.

Por qué escogió este alojamiento

This part of Vermont is close to Boston (less than 3 hours), yet far enough to be in the heart of the pristine Green Mountains. Jeff has been coming to this area since the mid 1970's and dreamed of having a retreat here for 35 years. Skiing is only 15-30 minutes away (4 resorts), and several romantic villages are nearby, giving endless options to explore and enjoy. Being on 10 acres and in Granville, it is also very private and peaceful. Often we just spend the weekend there, relaxing and basking in the cabin's great light and warmth.

Qué hace que este alojamiento sea especial

Although the existing cabin was in sad repair, Jeff saw the potential, and had the vision, tools and skills to make it happen. It is now our favorite place to be and we have established many great relationships there. It is a very active and engaging community, which we love being a part of and welcome others to share in, too!
