For clarity: the hot water tank for this unit was replaced last year, and because the taps hadn’t been used for some time before your arrival, the water simply needed to run for a few minutes to cycle through. When I asked for a quick test, I didn’t hear back, so I immediately arranged for building maintenance to attend as soon as someone was available. They confirmed everything was functioning normally once the system had been flushed. Regarding the location, Glacier Lodge is directly across from the Blackcomb base area. While it isn’t a true ski‑in/ski‑out building, it is a very short walk to the lift; typically under one minutes from the back enterance depending on pace and conditions. I aim to describe the location accurately so guests know exactly what to expect. Glacier Lodge is an established Whistler building, and while common‑area upgrades are managed by the strata, I continue to maintain and refresh the interior of the unit to ensure a comfortable stay.
