Esta granja de piedra del siglo XVII goza de una ubicación espectacular en el corazón de Umbría. Tiene vistas al valle de Spoleto con impresionantes vistas a la ciudad de Spoleto en el sur y a Asís en el norte.

La casa forma una parte separada de nuestra casa más grande, que permanece desocupada durante las visitas de los huéspedes para garantizar su total privacidad.

La piscina no es compartida. Recientemente restaurado, tiene un ambiente maravillosamente tranquilo y tranquilo. Rodeado por tres lados por 1 hectárea y media de olivos, árboles frutales y enredaderas, se encuentra al borde de un pintoresco pueblo situado a mitad de una colina coronada por un castillo en ruinas del siglo XV.

Nuestro administrador de la casa está disponible para ayudarlo con todas sus necesidades. Se habla inglés e italiano.

Después de un día explorando el área, si desea que se prepare una cena, ella estará encantada de organizar esto para usted como un servicio adicional.

House is rustic (dates from 1550!!) but nicely renovated with modern amenities. Very comfortable and plenty of space for two couples. Amazing views, lovely patio area and really nice pool. Julian is probably the best VRBO host we’ve ever had. Provided us with a lot of great info on the area - shopping, fuel, restaurants, etc. Also very responsive to every need we had. If you’re looking for a countryside location you can’t do better than this.

A beautiful, clean & well maintained house in a wonderful setting. The setting is beautiful - quiet with fantastic views, and the pool is lovely. There are lots of interesting towns and villages nearby to visit.

We (a family of four with two children of 10 and 12) had an excellent time at the guest house, which is located in a quiet area in Poreta. The guest house we stayed in is a part of a larger house of the host, but we had full private use of the garden and it’s large pool with stunning views (and sunset views!) on the mountains. The house itself was beautifully restored with attention to detail. The house is fully equipped and it was impeccably clean. The host is very approchable, flexible, and gave us several good tips of what to do in the surroundings of Poreta.

Peaceful retreat

We stayed at the property in Poreta and loved it. Whilst being away from the Cities it is easy driving to get to any place and we took full advantage of this visiting, Spoleto, Perugia, Assisi, Orvieto. Julian provided us some great links to places to go and eat and we were not disappointed. We finished our trip with a stop in Orvieto on our way back to Rome and had our best meal of the holiday, highly recommend a visit to Ristorante Caffe, Capitano del Popolo, fantastic cooking and reasonably priced. Would definitely recommend this property as a great place to stay.

Beautiful and Cosy Gem

We (family of four) had just come back from staying in this villa. It is a wonderful place, very comfortable with fantastic views and the pool was just right. The host are not present, when they have visitors but are in constant touch via WhatsApp, should you need any help. Julian and Sylvia made you feel very welcome. From the video on how to get to the villa to the views and the recommended restaurants, which we made the most of, had a great time and would stay again.

Beautiful, comfortable house in good location

The house is beautifully & sensitively restored. The garden is lovely, with its terraces of olive trees going down to the pool, which is large, well maintained and has a lovely smooth stone surround. The views from here are just gorgeous - down to the pretty village of Poreta, across to the hills & for miles across the valley, with Spoleto in the distance. For us, the house was perfectly placed for trips out to nearby hill villages, towns & numerous great restaurants, many within 10 minutes drive. Julian, the owner, gives good recommendations! One of the great things, is the complete privacy of the place. No one overlooking you on any of the terraces - the top loggia (great for relaxing before & after dinner), dining area or pool. Blissful!Just to note, we would probably hire a smaller car as parking outside the property can be a little awkward, as can getting around the small roads in the villages. Also, if you have limited mobility the steps down to the pool would be challenging. An all round great place to stay.

Stunning unsurpassed views

Manager an absolute pleasure to deal with. Supplied her personal pedestal fan as it was so hot inside downstairs and a replacement umbrella. Love the views and local people - Fontanelle restaurant is a must. The host Mimma will bring you wonderful choices is you leave it to her. Could do with a table and chairs around the pool and small table on the terrace for drinks as floor is uneven. Fan downstairs is a must as when hot it looks s unbearable. This was our second visit and we would definitely stay there again.

Views to die for

We stayed two weeks in this lovely villa, the views from all terraces, the pool and the sitting room window were breathtaking. Bianca who manages the property is a legend, she is a wealth of information and speaks great English. Her recommendation for a local restaurant called Fontanelle was invaluable, it was by far the best that we had visited, so much so that we went twice and allowed the owner Elisabett to bring us her choice of food. Oscar, who looks after the gardens was also a pleasure to meet. The house was well equipped and enabled me to create my own Italian dishes on the days that we stayed in. I would recommend it to anybody who wants a peaceful and relaxing stay in arguably one of the best regions in Italy. It is close to Spoleto, Spelo, Perugia and Assis.

Fabulous house with fabulous views

Myself, my husband and two teenage daughters had a fantastic week staying here. The house and the pool are beautiful. The house being finished to a very high standard and very well equipped. The view from the pool is amazing. I don't think the pictures do the property or the pool real justice, much better in real life. Bianca, the house keeper was very helpful and we knew she was on hand if we needed her. The position of the property is also very good, with several beautiful hilltop towns and villages within half hour drive in either direction, which meant that every day we could go out as well as having time to enjoy the house and pool. We enjoyed picking fresh figs and herbs from the garden to use in our meals. I would throughly recommend the property.

Our stay at La Straniera

Accommodation was as advertised. The two-story apartment on the other end of the house fitted two couples without a problem. View from the pool area and the kitchen terrace was magnificent as the sun sets behind a mountainous horizon. During our vacation week temperature was averaging 35 degrees in celsius during the day but the house had ceiling and floor fans so we managed to sleep quite well. A rental car or other means of readily available transportation is advisable as the house resides in a hilly suburb that does not have a lot within walking distance. The host was amazing, very helpful and was always within the reach. We were provided with great recommendations, one of which was a cooking lesson in a nearby restaurant. We cooked local pasta dish with local ingredients and ate it after with the guidance of the lovely chefs there. If you do not mind the suburban setting with the nature close by and you have means of getting around, look no further!

Schönes altes aber modernisiertes Haus in toller Lage in einem kleinen Dorf mit herrlicher Aussicht ins Tal. Der Weg über mehrere Steinstufen zum Pool lohnt sich: Ein großer, gepflegter Pool mit atemberaubendem Ausblick lädt zum Relaxen ein! Wir haben uns rundum wohlgefühlt! Traumhafter Blick, wunderbarer Pool, schönes Haus

Wir hatten wundervolle 1.5 Wochen im Haus von Silvia und Julian. Der sehr große Pool stand zur alleinigen Nutzung zur Verfügung. Man hat vom Pool und Haus einen traumhaften Blick auf die umbrische Landschaft. Die Kommunikation mit Julian war stets problemlos möglich, immer nett und zuvorkommend und lösungsorientiert. Verstecktes Kleinod in Umbrien / Hidden gem in Umbria

Das Haus von Julian ist mit sehr viel Liebe zum Detail und Geschmack eingerichtet. Die Beschreibung und die Fotos stimmen zu 100%. Der große Pool ist in jeder Beziehung phantastisch und (nicht nur von dort) hat man einen einmaligen Blick in die weite Ebene. Man braucht ihn aber auch wegen der Hitze (3 Wochen, 35-39 C). Poreta liegt strategisch günstig um alle interessanten Orte und Stätten im südlichen Umbrien zu entdecken. Julian ist ein wunderbarer Gastgeber und sein verlängerter Arm vor Ort (Franchesca) kümmert sich um Haus, Garten + Pool, immer nach individ. Absprache. Die Kommunikation mit Julian war von Anfang an perfekt. Die Wegbeschreibung zum Haus gibt´s als kurzes Video, was uns ohne Umwege dorthin geführt hat. Seine Restaurant-Tips lohnen sich und die "Lovely Pasta Ladies" sollte man sich ebenfalls nicht entgehen lassen! Fazit: Julian ist ein wunderbarer Gastgeber, dem alles daran liegt, dass man sich bei ihm wohlfühlt. Das Haus mit seinem nicht einsehbaren Grundstück + Pool und die Ruhe dort sind Garanten für eine perfekt Erholung! Viele Dank, Julian!!! Julian's house is furnished with great attention to detail and taste. The description and photos are 100% accurate. The large pool is fantastic in every respect and (not only from there) you have a unique view of the wide plain. Perfekter Urlaub

Diese Unterkunft entspricht absolut unseren Erwartungen an einen perfekten Urlaub: Eigener, privater, großer Pool. Ruhige Lage und tolle Aussicht. Gute Anbindung an wunderschöne Ausflugsziele wie z.B. Assisi, Spoleto, Cascata della Marmore und Perugia. Auch die gute Infrastruktur zum Fahrradfahren hat uns begeistert. Die Betten waren bequem und die Küche war mit allem ausgestattet, um auch mal selber zu kochen. Besonders hervorzuheben ist die gute Begleitung durch Julian. Nach mindestens 10 Jahren Erfahrung mit Ferienhäusern, übertraf die zuvorkommende und informative Kommunikation mit ihm alles bisher Erlebte. Z.B. vermittelte er uns einen Kochkurs, gab uns gute Tipps für Restaurants und all unsere Anliegen wurden von ihm sofort geklärt. Wobei das nicht viele waren, weil an jede Kleinigkeit gedacht wurde. Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen!

Perfecte locatie om de streek te verkennen

De woning ligt op een heuvel in een klein dorpje. Perfecte uitvalsbasis om in de streek op verkenning te gaan. Mooie locatie met prachtig zicht en ruim zwembad. In de namiddag steekt er steeds een briesje op. De keuken is voldoende uitgerust, leuk afgewerkte badkamers. De eigenaars zijn zeer behulpzaam en vriendelijk. Enige minpuntje is dat de voordeur zich in 1 van de slaapkamers bevindt (straatkant).
