We received a call as we were driving up to Paso that the house we reserved, Vacations on Vine, had plumbing issues and was not available. Fortunately the manager was able to find us comparable accommodations about 20 minutes outside of town. It only had 3 bathrooms, but we didn’t have another choice that was with 30 minutes of town. The new accommodations, Tour de Rouge, was well appointed and very nice.

Wonderful place for a wine getaway

Memorial weekend getaway

We had a family friend visiting and decided to go to Paso Robles for the Memorial weekend and found this beautiful piece of history to stay in. Reasonably priced and centrally located, clean and loved, it was an amazing stay. Beds were comfortable and modern comforts in a beautiful Victorian style 100 year old home made the stay so memorable and we had a wonderful time together. Thank you, you will see us again soon.

Perfect location for family fun!

We had a wonderful time with Vacations on Vine. The historic home is gorgeous and family-friendly - we appreciated the toddler cutlery, fenced yard, and little outdoor climber as well. The location enabled us to stroll downtown easily and the Children’s Museum and library are both very close. We will be back!

Wine trip

The place is very nice but very tight spaces in bathroom and stairwell. Easy access to downtown, we walked to the restaurants and bars with ease. Fun trip and accommodated all 8 of us.

"Big Chill friends reunion"

we had the best time here! walking location to cute downtown. house was perfect for 8 adults...front porch and great large backyard with seating and heat lamps. house was clean and had lots of kitchen supplies for cooking. we will be back for sure!

Time with friends

The house was at a good location, the procedures were clear for check in and check out. A couple suggestions would be to have the stairs carpet cleaned, add a few floor lamps and replace the matteresses.

60th Birthday Celebration

This house was perfect for a girls getaway weekend! We walked to restaurants every night and had plenty of space for 6 friends to celebrate. Would definitely rent again!

Great for a Group

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our sister recently moved to Paso and so we went to help her celebrate! We enjoyed early check in which helped us get our weekend started. The house is restored beautifully and is very comfortable. There is a real vintage feel to it, but the amenities are modern, including AC. The backyard is bigger than the pictures looked. It's especially beautiful with the lights on at night. It's important to note that 3 of 4 bedrooms are en suite, so the 4th bedroom used the full bathroom downstairs. If you're open to suggestions, the shower heads could be improved, and the beautiful original tub in the primary could use a refresh. However, I'm not sure how to refresh a 100 year old bathtub. We would absolutely stay here again, and have already recommended it to friends. We lived the framed photos of the house before and after the restore. Congratulations and thank you for sharing it with us!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Definitely could use some updating in the showers and other areas of the home. There's a lot of wear and tear. With that being said, it is spacious and great for a group. The upstairs does get significantly hotter than the downstairs so it's something to know if you are staying during warm weather. Ceilings are low, tall people just duck. Backyard was nice and we used it both nights of our stay. Kitchen was well equipped. Neighbor to the south was very nice.

Usually we take a farm house out in the country and enjoy the quiet. This trip we decided to try a place in town. 1521 Vine is a really great location on a quiet street just a couple block from great coffee (Spearhead) and great food (LPC).

Cute house great location

Loved this cute house and how close it was to downtown. The stairs are a little tough, narrow with a low ceiling, so would be hard for those with mobility issues, but there's a bedroom and full bathroom downstairs so not a reason to pass entirely.

We LOVED this property. The location was amazing. The house was fully stocked with coffee, creamer, hair dryer, steamer, iron etc. The beds were comfortable. The backyard adorable for warmer days. 4 bathrooms made it easy for all of us to get dressed without tripping over each other.

Very Responsive

Very comfortable for our family, close to restaurants and in a nice quiet neighborhood. The hospitality team was fabulous. We didn't have heat the first two days so they quickly brought space heaters and ensured our comfort while the repairs happened. Thank you!

Great Location and Roomy House for a larger group

We were in town for the EOD Warrior Bike ride and this home was a great location to get to our event and be able to walk into town to visit the different restaurants and see the quaint city. Home was very clean and comfortable

Great spot!

The house location is great. It’s a short walk to town square and on a peaceful street. Home was very clean. The furniture in living room is a bit worn in terms of comfort and needs a few extra seats to accommodate a larger group. Beds and bathrooms were clean. Stairs are a bit steep although have a hand rail. We enjoyed our stay at this home and would rent again.

Great location

Stayed to do some wine tasting in the area with friends. We like to cook and although kitchen is not large we were able to navigate! Took advantage of formal dining area too. Outdoor was lovely for appetizers and before dinner drinks! Private space for each couple, would recommend and look at staying again in the future.

The Perfect Stay

This house was perfect for my bridesmaids and I to get ready. So much room, comfy beds, and the backyard is so cute! Really great and quiet location close to a lot of places. The management staff was so great and really responsive. I’d love to stay here again!
