Great location to get to Napa in downtown San Francisco. The backyard was amazing with all the fruit trees, tomatoes, and other plants. We will definitely stay again.

The stay was fabulous!

The house is clean and Richard was very friendly. This place is closer to San Fransisco and has got easy access to all of near by beaches. I would strongly recommend the stay at this place if your have a trip to SF.

Great spot on the actual Bay!

Great location on the Bay! Richard was friendly and had a fun and well behaved dog Tyson. The kids loved having a dog to come back to. Great outdoor space for sunsets on the Bay!

Perfect Location for Exploring the Bay Area

This property was the perfect spot to stay to visit family in the east Bay, to ride the Vallejo ferry to San Francisco, to enjoy the cuisine in Berkeley, and to attend a home game for the SF 49ers. Thank you Richard for sharing this special cottage in the charming Pinole community.

A Hidden Gem

Our family had a wonderful weekend here. The house was super clean and well-stocked. Richard was very accomodating and made us feel welcome at every turn. The views from the patio are amazing, and it was great to be able to access the bayfront trail just down the street. We hope to return in the future!

Nice house for family

Thank you Richard for your hospitality. Staying at your house was exactly the accomodation that we needed for attending a family event. The property is unique with a beautiful backyard that has a dynamic view of the bay. The beds are comfortable and the bunk bed was great for the children.

Beautiful Bay View

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this Pinole property. The bay view from the backyard is absolutely stunning! The home is very well maintained, and kid friendly. The property manager, Richard, is very friendly and helpful. He has a wonderful dog whom our boys absolutely loved! We would highly recommend this property if you are in the Bay area!

Fabulous Property

My wife went with her 85 year old mom, and her brother and two kids joined. Everyone had a great time and LOVED the property. Amazing views from the backyard, and everything just fit right for everyone. Richard is great, and his backyard dog was well loved. Being very close to the ocean was also quite nice, and the family was able to get out and easily enjoy the area. Will be back again !!

Week long stay with granddaughters

Great location, comfortable beds, bright airy rooms, nice neighborhood, everything we needed for a very enjoyable stay. We enjoyed visiting with Richard - almost daily. Beautiful view of bay area from patio. Enjoyed peaches from one of the trees on property. Helpful book with places to visit and eat. Easy commute to San Francisco or northern coastal area. Would highly recommend staying at this VRBO, owner was very responsive to needs/questions.

Beautiful home with a great view

Beautiful home with a relaxing view surrounded by trees. Spacious with a kitchen well stocked. We enjoyed our stay. Our communication with Richard is what customer care /service should be. Tyson is a great and a friendly dog. He waits in the back with his ball next to him always ready to play.

Wedding Weekend Perfection

This Pinole location was perfect for our Kennedy Regional Park wedding venue & next day Napa excursion. The property was large, the house spacious. The owner congenial, knowledgeable about the area, & extremely responsive. His dog Tyson was a plus! Friendly & playful & could be absent as needed. We are already planning our next trip back to enjoy the fabulous sunsets from the water’s edge gazebo!

Killer View

The house was beautiful with a warm and cozy feeling. With moderate decorations, a shiny wooden floor and an elegant kitchen light it offered an open a spacious concept. The backyard is huge with cool brick grill and plenty of space for outdoor events. It also has a beautifull view of the bay(I think it the bay) very relaxing feeling. There is nothing better then a coffee early while staring into the San Francisco Bay. I had a great stay with no issues. Richard was also great, he was very kind and courteous and was quick to respond to any questions or concerns we had. Will definitely stay there again.

Beautiful Bay View

Our host Richard was great! Tyson was so friendly and we enjoyed playing with him. The view is amazing and we enjoyed all of the beautiful fruit trees. There two things to note: Trains run frequently at all hours close to this house. We reserved this house for our family of 5- 2 adults and our 3 children who range in age from 20-25. Even though we were under the max sleeps of 8, we were still charged extra because our children were older than 17. I did not see on the listing this extra fee. It took me by surprise. I would clarify all charges before booking. All in all if we were to return to Pinole, due to its location in close proximity to our family, the cleanliness of the house and the kind host, we would return.

Weekend Friends Get-Away

The weekend was phenomenal and everything was perfect for us. It was a floor-plan that worked great for our sewing weekend and the house was well stocked with everything we needed. We all loved Tyson the dog (so gentle and well trained) and Richard was kind and helpful. The yard is full of fruit trees (a real treat when the fruit is ripe!), and the view is incredible. Sunsets were beautiful. We saw and heard the train below the back yard but it wasn’t an issue for any of us. We’ve all used earplugs at get aways and that solved any potential sleep issues for each of us. In Pinole, on San Pablo Ave (within 2 miles), we found a dessert place, delicious dinner spot (The Pear Tree) and a wonderful donut place (Bear Claw Bakery) that serves breakfast items until 11am. Famiglio Italian delivered to the house and the food was fantastic. We are already planning our next friend weekend! Thank you, Richard.

Clean Home with Space for Adults

The home was very clean and had three separate bedrooms with a queen bed in each (one also had bunk beds) so plenty of room for us and our adult sons. Beds were very comfortable. We used the home as a base to visit multiple areas - Berkeley, San Francisco (from Vallejo Ferry), Pt. Reyes, Muir Woods among others - and found it just a short drive to most. Parking in the driveway of the house was very convenient. We didn't eat many meals there but there's a full size kitchen and large dining area available - we just ended up eating out but everything was there if we had wanted to cook more. Washer and drier available also which we found very useful. Linens, towels, paper products, soap, shampoo, and other basics were provided. View from patio of the bay was lovely. As the description says, there is a train that passes by between patio and bay but we didn't find it to be a problem - we slept well at night even with windows open (the bedrooms are at the back of the house facing into the back fenced patio so felt totally safe leaving windows open to catch the breeze). Neighborhood is residential and quiet with little traffic. Easy check in and check out process. We enjoyed our stay and found this a clean, roomy home to come to after our days of exploring the area.

It is exactly as advertised!

This is a very well maintained property. The house was clean and had everything we needed. the owner is very responsive and helpful. The backyard with the patio has an amazing view of the ocean. We absolutely loved staying there. Definitely will come back if we visit the Bay Area again.

Nice place to stay. The owner was very nice, and accommodating.

The train did not bother us at all. We slept well. Comfortable beds. Not much in the house, but was not an issue because we spent most of our time in San Francisco. We were able to eat breakfast, get ready and headed out the door. We got home late each night and just went straight to sleep. Nice location for the price. We were close to everything in the bay area.

I live in the back house with my 8.5-year-old German Shepherd (Tyson). He is a very friendly and obedient dog. When I am not home or in the backyard, Tyson stays in a locked area. I usually work from home, so I will be available if you have any questions. I am always available by phone, text, or email and will ensure that you and the other guests have complete privacy.

The home comfortably sleeps 8(can add a queen-size air mattress in the living room to accommodate bookings with more than 8 guests)and offers 3 private bedrooms with lots of natural light coming from large windows and multiple skylights. You’ll also be able to enjoy a spacious living room area, dining room, and fully stocked kitchen space, with a refrigerator and dishwasher. The property has a large backyard with a patio, which offers breathtaking views of San Pablo Bay!

I live in a safe, quiet neighborhood in Pinole overlooking the San Pablo Bay and with easy freeway access (less than a mile from I-80 and Highway 4). Restaurants, shopping, grocery stores, and coffee shops are less than a mile away.
