Beautiful guesthouse with plenty of windows. You can feel rested and renewed to then enjoy the splendid offerings of El Dorado County. Whether you go river rafting, wine tasting, hiking, or skiing the Sierra mountain range, you have a central location to explore it all. We will provide you with all the best recommendations for tasty restaurants, gorgeous hikes, scenic picnics, and local attractions. Come enjoy the wonder of Placerville and beyond!You will have access to a lovely terrace just out the front door. Guesthouse is perched on a hill with a nice view of what I call “city country!”

Very nice and clean inside, very close to Main Street Placerville. Guesthouse is actually behind the main residence and built over a garage/storage area. Street parking ONLY and very crowded on the small street.

Lovely home

Motion sensor lighting and direction signs made it easy to find our way in after dark. Comfortable furniture and beds, nice kitchen and easy working with the host.

Cute Granny Apt

We were not there a lot as we were in town for a family function that involved being with them at their home. Our Son and DIL were with us. We did enjoy the down time sitting around and visiting. We did not cook as we were with family but kitchen was well stocked with essentials. Sarah, our host, was very accomodating and friendly.

Very nice

I do not give five star ratings. I don't think I ever have for anywhere I have stayed. But this was really good. Sarah was very nice and helpful. The location is very convenient for Main Street and downtown. It's generally very quiet. There is sometimes noise from the chickens and neighboring dogs. The kitchen is very well stocked. It is quite comfortable. My friend and I did bring some chairs in from the deck to use at the kitchen table area. So definitely would stay there again.

Placerville Guest House

This guest house was perfect for our stay in Placerville. it was very clean and cozy and close to charming downtown. Our host, Sarah, was very responsive to our questions and needs. We hope to stay there again in the near future.

Nice stay close to downtown

Overall we enjoyed our stay however we missed having a TV that got at least local stations. We don’t use apps such as Hulu etc to watch TV so we had no TV available which was disappointing. The street parking was tight. A narrow road. We had a small vehicle so it worked.

Cute treehouse vibe. We were in town for my daughter’s wedding. Great place for us 3 girls. Close to our venue Sequoia Mansion. Host was amazing !

Clean and comfortable

Great stay. Very comfortable and clean. The guesthouse is exactly as described. Owner is responsive and easy to work with. Check in was relaxed and could not have been easier. Parking is tight on the street so it’s a bit hard if you have more than one car. Overall our stay was truly lovely and we would stay again.

Nice, clean place to stay in Placerville

This property is in a really great location. The guest house is very clean. The furniture and beds are comfortable and everything seemed new. It's just a short walk down the hill to all the shops and restaurants. Communication with the host was easy. We would definitely stay here again and recommend it to others.

Our stay was absolutely delightful! The property was clean, stylish, and cozy. We had everything we needed! There was even coffee available, although we had brought our own. Sarah, our hostess, was kind and went above and beyond to ensure our stay was pleasant. Thank you, Sarah! 💜 We will be back for sure!

Our stay

We arrived in placerville Friday for a wedding over the weekend, the moment we pulled up we where a bit alarmed at parking in the street. The moment we got out of the car and walked to the side gate to walk to the guest house it seemed uncomfortable. Looking at the yard we noticed the owner had Cannabis plants, we noticed the dogs barking every time we walked by, and the main thing that was the most uncomfortable was that while we where out we noticed the bed was made in the extra room but not the other which made us feel extremely uncomfortable and unsafe. Our privacy was invaded. We never agreed on anyone accessing the guest house when we locked it up every time we left. We did not stay the last night due to all of this and left way before 11 on Sunday.
