Tammy’s place was perfect for us 2!!! It was beautifully designed and kitchen well equipped. Unit was recently remodeled and gorgeous!! Bed was VERY comfortable and bathroom was very spacious. Everything was immaculate and superb upon our arrival. Host was very communicative and quick to respond to assist us! Had the perfect snow day before we left! We had amazing view of the mountains from our living room. We will be back!!!! 12/10!

Cozy, convenient to the slopes at Purgatory

The condo was as described and a cozy place to stay for my husband and I on our ski trip to Purgatory. Well-stocked kitchen, bathroom, and living area - it had everything we needed for the weekend. Updated finishes and aesthetic. Responsive and helpful host.

Mountain Getaway

We enjoyed our relaxing getaway to the mountains. The property is clean, and nicely decorated. The bed is comfy. We got snowed in, so we loved having a day by the fire to read and chill. We also appreciated the appliances and spices provided. Very quaint place.

Great condo, great location.

This was our third stay at Cascade Village but the first stay in this particular condo. By far this was the nicest of the three condos we’ve stayed. We’ve always loved the location of the condo with its easy access to Purgatory Ski Resort. Though a 1 BR condo it was bigger than expected. Five Stars!

Beautiful views

A great space with amazing views. Spacious, updated and has all the amenties you need. Loved the fireplace & easy access to firewood. Highly recommend this place. Noise from the highway is minimal.

short stay for wedding at Cascade Lodge (around the bend)

Our stay was perfect...my only comment is that it look me a long time to find the coffee filters! It didn't occur to me to look in the closet next to the W/D.

A few disappointing things

The facility is very nice. New updates on most things. Owner gave us the wrong code for entry...took 45 minutes to get a hold of them and get a new code. Called VRBO and they were absolutely not help. Patio door was so hard to open...it just needs adjusting. Spraying wd40 on it did no good (recommended by owner). Master bath right side faucet leaked unless you turned it off under the sink. View of mts not like picture shown. Trees have taken that view away. Biggest problem was there were no instructions on use of TV setup. Fan remotes no longer worked. The only part we liked was the covered parking in the rain. However you did have to climb stairs to bring your things in and out. All in all we will not be staying here again.

Kendall Mountain Run

We had a wonderful stay at this property at gateway to all the mountains we love. The home was clean and had all the necessary amenities. We enjoyed coffee on the balcony overlooking the mountain range. We enjoyed the jacuzzi after trail running, hiking, and kayaking. There was ample parking in proximity to the unit. The hosts were kind and communicative and available whenever necessary.

Beautiful Condo

We came to ride ATVs and hike. This property is in the perfect location. The condo was beautifully decorated and updated. It was stocked with everything we would need. We even enjoyed playing cards with the kids every night that were supplied. The kids enjoyed the pool and tennis court also. Would recommend. The owners were easy to reach when we had questions.

Perfect Location and Accommodations!

We visited the Durango-Silverton area for the fall colors..Sean and Tammy’s place was perfect! It was very nicely updated, decorated and well furnished. Our host communicated great and we loved the location. The drive to Silverton was spectacular and the Durango drive was easy. We will be back!

San Juan get away for 2.

We had a great stay at the condo. It is a great location for exploring the San Juan mountains. Close to Silverton and Ouray. The condo had everything we needed for meals, showers, and plenty of R&R. We loved sitting on the balcony and watching all the humming birds. Everything was fantastic and we will definitely stay there again.

4th of July Getaway

Lovely condo and the furnishings were great! Wish there was a fan to use in the bathroom because it does get a little warm since no A/C and no circulation. Also since we had to keep bedroom windows open for circulation, there is a lot of road noise from Hwy 550 since the Condo sits right on it. My husband had a lot of trouble going to sleep at night due to this.

Sean and I (Tammy) live full time in Houston, Texas but have a special love for Colorado. We were engaged in Telluride, spent our honeymoon in Bailey, and decided to buy a home in Durango. We have both travelled all over the world but Colorado has always been our home away from home!

I used to holiday in Durango as a child and my fondest memories were holidaying at Cascade Village. I have always wanted a home here. When Sean and I saw our condo listed online in 2019, we bought the home sight-unseen. We both had an appreciation for the amazing mountain views, tranquil ambience, and natural surroundings. The condo was quite dated so we gutted everything and made a beautiful, comfortable, cozy home where we could holiday. We are enjoying creating wonderful memories in one of the most beautiful parts of the US.
