There were no condiments available in kitchen (salt pepper seasonings etc) and no shampoo or body wash in bathroom). Furniture arrangement was unusual. Living room furniture where dining room should be with light fixture overhead. Instead there was no light over dining table making it dark in evenings for dinner. Needs to be exterminated. Bugs. But overall enjoyed our stay. Location was good and condo was clean except for the bugs.

The location is perfect, just steps from the water, making it easy to enjoy both the beach and fishing. The property was clean and comfortable, exactly as described.The home and dock are a bit dated, but still worked well for our needs. The owner was friendly and quick to respond to our questions.Overall, a great spot for a relaxing family getaway. We’d recommend it and would happily return!

The condo was clean and comfortable. It is well furnished but could use a few more interior lights to light up the rooms. The pool is right outside the condo and you can see the boat slip from the patio. We will be renting again.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was a nice place to stay as long as you realize that it is rather small.It is fine for one or two persons. If you need to utilize the hide a bed, that means there are more than 2 and access to the bathroom is through the master bedroom. They have provided a privacy screen. It was very clean. Be advised that there is nothing left in the kitchen so you need to provide everything including sugar and coffee or tea. I had a difficult time accessing the room because there is a security door, but after calling, the issue was resolved. There was an odor in the unit which is pretty common for the area due to the humidity. I would stay here again.

We had an overall good time! Property was nice and clean. Pool was alright, a little murky and had bugs in it. Bathroom set up was a little weird in the 1 bedroom. We also never received a front door code and had to use my brother's who was also staying in a different condo. No major issues though and would probably stay here again.

This was my first time at the property, and it was exactly what I was looking for. Centrally located, safe, furnished and had a balcony. I would come back here. My stay was for 3 months, and had no issues.

Mosquito bites, weird beaches but a relaxing visit mostly

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: It was good, I'm sure we'll be back some future summer. 1st day of fishing in the canal behind us was good, we caught 7 fish and threw them all back. Day 2, using the grill by the canal / swimming pool was awful. We (mostly my wife) started BBQ'ing some steaks and shrimp. Mosquitoes attacked us and it got worse the longer we were out there. We couldn't stop grilling until the food was cooked and we probably got dozens of mosquito bites. The next day we tried to fish again in the canal and we were swarmed by 100's of mosquitoes again, all wanting our blood. Same for using the swimming pool after day 1, swarmed & eaten by mosquitoes. So we gave up instantly and didn't get to fish or swim anymore. I'm not sure if it was the month of the year (we've never been there in September), the storm or what it was that caused the mosquito issue. They were big, too! Since we've been home the mosquito bites have become itchy, and our legs and arms are covered with them, looking like we have the measles or something. We tried fishing at the beach like in past visits but I'm guessing due to the storm on Monday and Tuesday the waves were crazy. For 100 or more yards it was wet beach then the waves would role in and almost knock us down. We'd throw our line out as far as we could and would be fishing in a foot of water. Then the waves would roll in and our line would go behind us. So we gave up. It was odd because we always have success fishing off the beach, but not this visit. Also, when we 1st arrived, there was a beer can sitting on the railing on the back porch. We left it there and finally emptied it and threw it away on day 2 because no one grabbed it. It was full of spit and chewing tobacco. Also, we'd find dead cockroaches on the floors when we'd wake up in the mornings. We picked them up and threw them away. Other than that, really we had a relaxing time and mostly enjoyed our visit. Not trying to complain, just letting you know our experience.

Girls mini vacation

One of the legs was broken and we could not even get bed up & out of the couch. We had to squeeze three Women in the king bed &1 on the couch. Hide away bed needs fixed before 4 people can stay there.
