This was a fabulous stay (0ur 3rd year) Light and bright, 3 minute walk to the beach, host who will order anything needed on Prime and a pencil sharpener in the kitchen drawer! Also very friendly neighbors, and whole-house air conditioning! We love it.

Perfect beach get away!

My family and I were in the area to celebrate my son's graduation and we stayed at the beach house. It was a well cared for home with awesome beach access. After I left I realized I left some items and the owner was kind enough to send them to me. I would absolutely stay here again, and highly recommend.

Stay was wonderful and the location was perfect. Very convenient to different restaurants and shopping venues. The whole family enjoyed the stay and most importantly the kids were very happy and loved the lake area.I also loved that you took the time to check on us to make sure we were okay and kept us informed on issues with the cable services.Thanks for all.Some suggestions:Provide wash cloths and extra pillowcases.Make a blender available, if possible.

Visiting for a wedding

Place was very nice plenty of room for 12 if needed well stock with everything u may think need! Parking for 3 vehicles. But neighbors or so nice that let u park at there house. Couldn't pick a better house if they paid me.

Our stay was fantastic.The house is only a short 3 to 4 minute walk to a wonderful Sandy Beach. There is a sand path to walk in to get to the beach, but we were very happy not to have any stairs.The house is a totally Rehab, renovated older home in a quiet neighborhood. The house has with many modern details, including the kitchen appliances and the fancy bathtub, an open floor plan with lots of sky lights — and soft yet firm mattresses.My favorite part is a very large deck in the backyard among the trees. The deck had plenty of seating with cast-iron chairs, tables, etc. The cushions for the outside chairs were very comfortable. I spent most of my non-beach time on the deck! Host made everything easy and was a great communicator.

Family vacation

Miller Beach

This was our second year at the house, and it was wonderful. The location is just a short walk to the beach. Chairs, beach tables, convertible cart, are all available to use at the beach. Rooms are nice, and the host is wonderful to work with. This house is highly recommended.

Great experience!

We’ve stayed at a lot of rental properties and this was by far the best stocked house we’ve ever been in. The supply of everyday items like toilet paper, spices and laundry detergent made our stay stress free. The location was also amazing! Getting into Chicago was quick and easy, and there were lots of great beaches near by. Thank you for the wonderful stay!

Lake Michigan getaway

We really enjoyed our time at Miller Beach and this property! It was a short walk to a beautiful beach that was not crowded at all. The weather was perfect which is one of the reasons we headed north. The house was really nice and had pretty much everything we needed for our trip. We took the train to Chicago for a day, spent a day at the Indiana Dunes National Park(could have spent more) and we went to Michigan city. I felt safe the whole time and would recommend this property to anyone 😁

Lovely home with a great deck steps away from the beach

This house perfectly accommodated our family (2 adults, 5 kids). Beds were comfortable and we had everything we needed to enjoy our stay! Kids especially loved the ease of access to the beach and the outside rinse station on the side of the house was PERFECT for cleaning off sand! The owner was very responsive with any questions I had. We would definitely stay here again if we are ever back in the area.

Family Friendly Beach Get Away

This unit is in a great location to enjoy Lake Michigan, the beach, and the Indiana Dunes area. We had a fun-filled week with my son's family -- the grandkids were hard to drag away from the lake each day. The house is well-maintained and stocked with just about every convenience for guests that you can imagine. The owner was great to work with every step of the way...

Great home and experience!

This an awesome home by the lake, and Eddie is a great host that helped make our month long stay as comfortable as possible. The home is spacious and very clean, and we loved the grill and the balcony out back. We came for work and had to extend our stay a couple of times, and Eddie worked with us and made everything very convenient. We will surely rebook this home if we are ever in the area in the future.

Lake Michigan getaway

We spent a delightful 2 weeks, swimming every day and enjoying the variable weather. Never too hot. Home is well equipped, the hosts quite attentive. No problems whatsoever.

Miller Beach

The house is a short walk to the beach. Chairs, umbrella, cart, and cooler are all provided by the host. Host was quick with responses and checked to make sure everything was in order. Outdoor sand rinsing station was quite helpful. We had a great week.

Great location, owner, very comfortable home

Very short walk to the beach, chairs, kayak and a wheeled cart that made transport back and forth very handy. Cooked numerous meals in kitchen, used the propane grill several times, everything worked great. Washer and dryer worked great, separate living areas of the house let folks unwind and have quiet time. Outdoor deck above garage was secure and had a lot of seating. Air conditioning went out the day we arrived but owner had HVAC company out immediately and replaced the unit outside. Thank you for the lightning quick response, Eddie!

Location is fantastic if you are looking for a low-key beach vacation- it’s a 2-3 minute walk to the water and the beach was not busy compared to Wells Beach a few blocks east. It felt like a private beach more than once. Sunsets reminded me of the Gulf! And the day after a storm, the tide was like the Atlantic. Close to the Dunes state and national parks, we explored both, hiking on cloudy days, and even walked from “our” beach to West Beach. The owner was attentive, checking on us via text more than once to see if we needed anything. We were pleasantly surprised that paper products, laundry detergent, dishwasher soap and toiletries were provided. House was beautiful and worked well for our family of 4 (2 adults and 2 kids). Could easily stay there with another family. Also plenty of beach and bath towels, along with a wagon, chairs, beach toys. No grocery stores in the area, but Walmart delivered to us. Early risers should sleep in the upstairs bedroom as the windows face east and there are no blackout curtains/shades. Beds and pillows were very comfortable. The sliding door to back patio was difficult to open/close and didn’t have a screen door, but the patio furniture and pillows were high quality. I loved cooking on the gas stove with their cast iron skillet. My kids loved the large jetted tub. We appreciated access to cleaning supplies as we like to keep things tidy. Such a short drive from Indy for a beach experience. This area is a hidden gem!

Great communication and plenty of space for a beach vacation!

Ed has a great little property in the Miller Beach neighborhood. The parking and neighborhood space is tight, but everything else is what you would hope from a VRBO on Lake Michigan. The neighbors were friendly, and many seemed to be owners who were year-round or seasonal residents. The property itself is on the top of what what likely once a dune, as sandy soil is seen everywhere. The neighborhood itself it only 2-3 blocks from the western extent of the Indiana Dunes National Lakeshore. So, if you’re somehow concerned that you’re too close to industrial Gary, don’t be. Once you take roads winding down to he property, you realize you are far from anything that feels urban or industrial at all. The house had all the amenities you’d need for a week stay, including plenty of linens, paper and cleaning products, and nice laundry room. The back deck is a great feature and allows at least a dozen people to sit comfortably and enjoy the outside weather. The grill has two sides and gets plenty hot for cooking whatever you like. The weather was in the lower 90s our whole week there and the AC kept up with comfort with no issue. One of the most positives parts about our experience was that Ed provided his cell phone and we were able to quickly text about any questions or concern. He addressed one issue with the cable TV quickly, and seemed genuinely interested in us having a good stay. Ultimately, if you’re on the fence - don’t be. It was a great property with a simple 1.5 block walk to a soft sand beach where swimming and sunbathing are a snap. Enjoy!

Great little getaway.

There's so much to love about this place. The interior renovations are top-notch. It's only a few minutes' walk from the beach. The neighborhood is quiet and friendly. The owners have provided a good amount of amenities for guests.In addition, Edward was great! Great communication, and very accommodating! I would definitely stay here again if given the chance!
