This house is fantastic and a perfect location for Manuel Antonio. Taxi and Uber are available so you don't have to drive up and down especially to go to the park. Alex was a great host, met us in the rain and helped us with things to see and do. Many great restaurants close by to walk within minutes and just down the hill is the fantastic Playa Biesanz. Highly recommended house! The view from the deck was awesome and the deck itself is amazing and large. It rained a little and the deck was a great retreat to sit on and look out over the area and the beach.

This couldn't have been more perfect! Walking distance to so many delicious restaurants and shops. Alex was an amazing host and played the part of concierge to boot! Every suggestion he made was absolutely perfect. If we have the opportunity to get back to Costa Rica again, we will certainly book here again.

My family had an amazing stay at Casa Blue Wind. The location was absolutely perfect with the beach being a walkable distance. It was a risk to go in the "rainy" season but it was like having a private beach to ourselves. The location is the perfect mix of nature and convenience. Our 1st morning we were rewarded with monkeys on the nearby trees and on the porch. The convenience of highly rated nearby restaurants was another plus. We took advantage of having a private chef cook one of our dinners and it was fantastic. All of our questions were answered quickly and the check in and check out was seamless. I would definitely stay here again on a future visit.

Wow!!

If you want to get the Costa Rica tropical wildlife experience, this is the place to be. The location is perfect to access Manuel Antonio. Steps away from an excellent restaurant. Monkeys climb right outside the balcony. We also saw macaws, a large lizard and capybara. The pool and room accommodations were top notch. Absolutely would stay again.

Great place for our family, great location.

Alex was top notch to help us navigate the town, the location was absolutely perfect (walking distance to all the great restaurants), views and monkey visits on the patio and just outside were spectacular. Really a great stay. Only thing to note is that the second level (with the 3rd bedroom and 2nd bathroom) is connected but downstairs with it's own exterior door that locks. Would stay there again for sure.

Beautiful ocean views

The location and views are terrific. There are a lot of steps to and from residence but that is a minor inconvenience for the place, which is spacious and beautiful. The private pool is quite a plus. The host Alex was very responsive. Only issues were there was no cleaning during our 3 days stay there (which seemed indicated) and a slight sour smell came and went in one bedroom. Overall, still an excellent place to stay.

Stunning place

This place is a gem. Stay here if you visit MA. Slots, monkeys, macaws right in front of you together with this amazing view. Perfect for 2 couples since 2 separate bathrooms and floors. We would come back anytime.

An amazing stay

Our group of 4 stayed for 2 nights at the end of our 10-day trip, and my only regret is we didn't stay longer. For anyone familiar with the Manuel Antonio area, this house is steps away from Emilio's Cafe, which gives you an idea of the amazing view. We were two couples and loved the layout with two levels. Squirrel monkeys came right up to the deck and pool. Tons of toucans, macaws, and howler monkey sightings from the balcony as well. You don't have to go anywhere! The animals come to you. We loved the pool, the bathrooms are nice, and beds were comfy. I'd rent this house again, hands down.

A piece of paradise in Manuel Antonio

We loved our stay! The home is beautiful, pool is refreshing and the wildlife is plentiful. Easy access to restaurants, national park and beaches. Alex (house manager) was helpful in setting up tours and offering suggestions to make our vacation special.

Great location, even better than expected

Beautiful house, great views, location provides access to all beaches, parks, and activities for the area. Many good restaurants to choose from, easy walk from the property. The host and property manager Alex Rivera was on top of all of our needs. He made several recommendations of tours and activities that were exactly what we desired. This is a top-shelf location for anyone interested in seeing the true nature and culture of Costa Rica. I highly recommend this property.

This house is heaven on earth! Gorgeous ocean views from the pool, hammock, and patio dining room. Thoughtful extras like daily beach towels. Ideal location by beaches, national park, and restaurants. Perfect spot to see macaws, monkeys and sloths

Awesome location/views/wildlife/service

Very clean, all the amenities and room for 6+ with superb service. Saw more wildlife than the tour to Manuel Antonio Park! Alexander was awesome and provided access to members of our group when we were running extremely late due to airline issues. STAY HERE!

Pura Vida in Manuel Antonio at Casa Blue Winds

We loved our stay at Casa Blue Winds. A lovely property with three bedrooms was perfect for our family of four. The view was magnificent along with our visiting monkeys, iguanas, macaws and nearby sloth mum and baby. Great location within walking distance of cafes and restaurants. Also easy to the beach. Big call out for Alexander who was the most responsive host we have had and was a huge help with booking activities, navigating the area and getting set up in the property. Thank you. Highly recommended.

There are some upgrades and repairs that are needed with this property, but the location and immersion in nature is absolutely wonderful. The pool was very nice. People are coming and cleaning and doing laundry and helping all the time which is nice. It is a rough environment there on the ocean, and the house has some upgrades needed.

Wonderful stay

We thoroughly enjoyed our week in Casa Blue Wind. The house is located in the middle of the hill in Manuel Antonio which provides a beautiful view of the ocean and puts you within the trees to provide lots of wildlife viewing from the balcony. There are many steps to access the house from the street. Our host, Alexander, was quick to respond and helpful with recommendations for activites/restaurants. We helped us arrange a chef for in-house dinner and breakfast which was more delicious than anything we had out. Laundry is available through the housekeeping staff at the house. Highly recommend staying here.

Four nights at Casa Blue Wind with four adults

I cannot say enough good things about this place. Even having seen all the photos online, we were all stunned at how gorgeous this house and the scenery was when we first got there. The pool was pristine, the house was kept very clean by the maid who came daily, we were able to do laundry once during our stay which was very helpful, and there were surprisingly few bugs inside the house. Alex, the host, was absolutely wonderful. He is very responsive and scheduled every single activity we did in Manuel Antonio during our stay, which were all so fun and interesting. He has an abundance of information about the surrounding area about activities, food, secret beach routes, tips on where to and not to go, etc. Casa Blue Wind was a very comfortable stay for our four nights, and I would 100% reccomend staying here when visiting the Quips area and I would also stay here again in a heartbeat.

Stunning views and incredible property!

My family and I wanted a place to stay that was fairly close to the beach and had easy access to local food and activities. There were lots of food options, right nearby that were walking distance and they were excellent! The beach is about a 10-15 walk, or you can drive there through one of two ways either using the street which is longer or using the back road, which requires a 4 x 4, but it’s not risky terrain, just a little steep for most regular cars. The property itself was fantastic. It was clean and had everything we need and the separate downstairs was super convenient for our teenager who enjoy the whole space. The balcony was incredible and we really enjoyed relaxing there when we were not at the beach. Alexander, the host, was absolutely incredible and helping us not only enjoy our stay, but also helping us coordinate everything from Tours to Taxi’s when we needed them. One thing to note is that Ubers are not very common in Manuel Antonio, so bring cash for taxi’s.
