We were a group of twelve with three young children. We had a brilliant stay. The house, its facilities and the surrounding space are quite exceptional and finished to a very high standard. The swimming pool and the many additional amenities provided a focal point and were a real bonus during the hot weather spell we experienced. The house is well located in a quiet village but within easy reach of Dormans, Epernay and Reims.David's champagne was a nice touch and delicious.A great place to stay with attentive hosts and thoroughly recommended.

David & Alice were really helpful and responsive, answering questions both before & during our stay. The house is great with plenty of space and the garden is well maintained. As the pool can be covered we used it every day even on the duller days. David’s champagne is lovely & we were impressed that we could try from the fridge & pay at the end of our stay. We were also able to buy some to take home. The baker is a few minutes walk away. For supermarkets etc you need a car. Would recommend this house. We are thinking of returning in the future.

beautifull home in champagne area

wonderfull house beautifull surroundings in a quiet village. bakery on walking distance for everything else you need a car. house is perfect, kitchen is well equipt.

The house is incredibly well designed, and furnished beautifully. Within 30 mins of Épernay and Reims. David is a fantastic host and is champagne is also delicious!

French family holiday

Fabulous holiday for 3 generations. Online listing and photos do not do it justice. The farmhouse was outstanding and fully caters for 12 people. David, our host, was very welcoming and contactable, if needed, at any time. All the family enjoyed the pool and other facilities provided. Highly recommended. Merci David.

Champagne Villa trio

David and Marie were charming and the renovated house has been done to a great standard. Our grandchildren absolutely loved it especially the pool and the fact part is inside in the shade was very much appreciated. David’ champagne was also excellent!! Would recommend and we will try to go back soob

Great!

We had an amazing stay. The area is beautiful. The House of David is great for a big group of friends or family sharing. Common areas are huge and very new. All rooms are very private and have complete bathrooms. The swimming pool was a great addition, kids were over the moon. On top, the kids had an outdoor covered area to play with a ping pong table and basketball. Then for the garden, you have badminton and petanque. Very good. Thank you David!

One week in Champagne

We were a group of friends destined for Champagne to celebrate my 70th birthday and stayed for 8 nights at David Piot’s Cottage. What a house…lots of space for 10. Three bedrooms on the second floor, two on the third and one in the rafters with its own skylight, all very spacious with private bathrooms. We played boules, billiards, sat out in its beautiful garden with a heated pool. The kitchen/dining area is huge, well equipped and a separate living room is very comfortable for reading and board games. We booked a champagne guided tour with @Groomepernay, a cooking class with Pascal Guerin, who came right to our place and rented e-bikes from Easy Ride 51, dropped off at our doorstep. And a minute away, the best pains au chocolat and croissants from Marie Maxime. Thank you David and Mia for making our stay a perfect one!

Verneuil summer 23

Magnificent high-end house, quiet despite being in the middle of the village. Very comfortable rooms and beds with e/s bathrooms. Large communal spaces (kitchen-dining + sitting room) enabled our older kids to hang out in their own space. A champagne fridge was well stocked with the owners own champagne at supermarket prices. Lots of space outside with good facilities (table tennis and basketball net in large covered barn), petanque pitch in the garden, pool room indoors. Pool was a bit small but could be used open or covered and there was plenty to do on rainy afternoons. Marie and David were friendly, welcoming and helpful. We had great country walks, city visits and visits to local champagne producers. Highly recommended for a large group of friends/family.

A Perfect Retreat in Verneuil: A 10/10 Experience

Our recent stay at the Verneuil house in France surpassed all expectations. Located in the charming Marne Valley, this recently renovated property offered a serene retreat despite being on the main street of the village. The house itself is excellent, featuring six bedrooms, each with its own bathroom, on the upper level. The lower level boasts two additional bathrooms, a heated indoor/outdoor pool, a spacious lounge with a fireplace, and a well-equipped kitchen with a dining area. The modern Siemens appliances in the kitchen, including a fully stocked champagne fridge, were particularly impressive. We stayed with a group of eight friends, and the house provided more than enough space for everyone to relax comfortably. Despite its size, the property never felt crowded, allowing us to enjoy both privacy and social gatherings. The tasteful decor and comfortable beds ensured a restful night's sleep. The highlight of our stay was undoubtedly the owner's champagne collection. The house's fully stocked champagne fridge allowed us to savor the owner's reasonably priced champagnes, adding a touch of luxury to our experience. Overall, we rate our stay at the Verneuil house a perfect 10/10. Its ideal location, peaceful atmosphere, recent renovations, and thoughtful amenities made our time there truly exceptional. We highly recommend this exquisite retreat to anyone seeking a luxurious and rejuvenating escape. Thank you to the owner for providing such a memorable experience.

Fantastisk. Hyggelig eier. Ønsket oss velkommen med nedkjølt champagne. Flotte soverom med private bad. Stort kjøkken som innbyr til hyggelige fellesmåltider . 1 klasses baker nedi gaten og vingårder med smaksprøver i gangavstand.

Ein wunderbares verlängertes Wochenende in luxuriösen Räumlichkeiten- perfekt für einen Champagne Aufenthalt mit 11 Erwachsenen und 2Kindern. Gepflegtes und großzügiges Anwesen. Schon der sehr große Eingangshof mit mindestens 3 großzügigen Autoabstellplätzen in einer hohen Scheune beeindruckt. Große Küche und Tisch für alle! Schöne Terrasse, gepflegter Garten und Rasen. Schwimmbad für innen und sogar außen mit verschiebbaren Dach geschützt. Frisch und hochwertig renovierte Zimmer und saubere Bäder. Gute Betten mit schönen Matratzen. Wlan passt! Grande maison très confortable

Très beaux volumes des pièces de vie, grandes chambres avec literie ultra confortable, le tout décoré avec beaucoup de goût et de beaux matériaux. Le propriétaire s'est montré très disponible. Lieu idéal pour un séjour en famille ou entre amis, par contre à ne pas recommander aux personnes ayant des difficultés de mobilité, les marches et escaliers y sont nombreux.

Highly recommended!!!

We spent a week with our family, including grandchildren, at this house. It extremely well equipped to a very high standard. Each of the bedrooms and bathrooms are really comfortable and spacious. The living area is superb. The garden and the front courtyard are fully enclosed. And the pool/billiards set up is perfect for an evenings fun. The owner of the house could not be more helpful and really went out of his way to make our stay comfortable. And on top of all of that, the area is beautiful and full of history. We will certainly stay here again and can highly recommend it.

La maison est incroyable et d’un grand confort. La piscine chauffée (couverte et découverte), la terrasse, l’accès au verger sont de vrais atouts supplémentaires. Tout est d’un grand luxe! Le propriétaire s’est montré très conciliant sur les horaires d’arrivée et de départ, et même plus, en nous offrant pleins de petites attentions appréciées de tous (visite de cave, transfert à la gare, contact traiteur, etc)
