Another great trip to Sandestin!!

Great trip and beautiful water! The unit was very clean and has been updated since we rented it about three years ago! We had a little trouble with one golf cart but they were “on it” quickly! Great communication with the property management team! We will come again soon!

2 Families of 4 Vacation

The Sandestin Resort is beautiful. The pool is about a yard away from the back patio. Walkway is not very lit up at night & pool gate code box is difficult to see in the dark. No one kicks you out of the pool at 10pm if you’re quiet. The 2 golf carts were a big plus. Beach access & golf cart parking was very convenient. One had a slight flat tire but a call to management company had maintenance man to fix it within an hour. The beds are comfortable & rooms were spacious. Loved that there were 4 full bathrooms. The TVs in the bedroom are a bit small. The TV in the living room wasn’t a smart TV so cable was the only option. The most disappointing things were they only provided 2 of the cheapest trash bags & only 3 packets of dishwasher detergent for a week stay. There are 3 beach chairs that are super rusty & falling apart. The beach umbrellas work but are not in great shape. Since the garage is just for the golf carts, it would be nice to have a garage refrigerator. The kitchen pantry is locked for the owners so all of the food & kitchen supplies we brought were scattered about on counters & tables. The kitchen ice machine doesn’t produce a lot of ice. Getting to Publix on the golf cart was nice so we got bags of ice & there was a big cooler in the garage so that was a plus. Bring extra roll of paper towels, aluminum foil, plastic wrap, zip lock bags, trash bags, laundry detergent, anything besides S&P. There is plenty of utensils, pots/pans, mixing bowls, baking sheets, etc.

Very efficient and organized......excellent customer service!The only negative we had in this unit is the fact that the view is very limited. Surrounded by vegetation and an occasional deer. However, very user friendly with the 2 golf carts and the covered one came in handy with the cold weather we had in January.The back patio was a little disappointing with it being in the shade most of the day we hardly used it.Overall, we would recommend it for anyone wanting a comfortable, relaxing vacation and a short walk to the beach.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Tivloi 5440 (a gated community) offered our family a lot of space to spread out with large rooms and 4 bathrooms. It was close enough to walk to the beach, but having two golf carts made it much more convenient going to the beach and driving over to BayTowne for dinner and shopping. There is a garage, which is great for storing beach chairs/toys and keeping them out of the house. It also backs up to the pool, which is very convenient for those that like time at the pool, but we never used it since our family is all about the beach. The townhome was a bit dated, but overall clean and comfortable. We thought it was a good value for what it offers.

Wonderful family vacation

Very clean and spacious home for our family of 8. Perfect location. We loved the golf carts and being able to ride anywhere we needed on them! Short distance to most places. Only complaint we have is that there is no dead bolt or inside lock on the main door. Our 3 year old and 2 year old were able to open the door and walk right outside! Other than that it was a great place to stay for a big family. Nice, quiet and safe neighborhood. We will definitely be back!!

The property managers were super friendly and responsive, and the problem was resolved swiftly. My family and I would definitely stay here again.

Our section was gated and it gave you a quieter, secure atmosphere. The house was great, the pool was right behind it. We had the pool to ourselves the whole week (Sept) and it was so nice, large, and wonderful! Loved the layout of the house-great for 2 families. The golf cart provided us us with easy means to get to the beach, and also Baytowne. The only “negative” was the master king bed upstairs was too hard, and the downstairs king bed was too soft/worn. Hated to leave!

Great Property

This was our first time visiting the Destin area, so we didn't know much about the general area. Destin is the hub of the tourist area and is very crowded and busy. There are some really quaint towns along 30A that would give you more of a small-town walking around experience, such as Seaside or Watercolor. This property is located between the two in the Sandestin resort. We visited both and would probably try the towns along 30A next time. That being said, we loved this property and its central location. We were able to drive in each direction and experience all the area has to offer, but the Sandestin resort area was fun as well. The property comes with a golf cart and you can drive that to the beach, to restaurants, and the Baytowne Wharf which has a lot of fun attractions for the family. The home was very nice, beds were comfortable, TVs in every room with cable and streaming services, and everything you need in the kitchen for a few meals 'at home'. The pool in the community was literally out the back door and less than a minute walk. The management company was super responsive and was great to deal with. Overall, this was a super experience for our family!

Loved every second of the stay

Everything that could have been needed was available at the condo. The golf cart was great for trips to the beach and the wharf. Access to the pool straight out the back was an added surprise. Def would reccomend and wouldn’t hesitate to book again in the future.

Lovely vacation home, terrible customer service

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I waited a little while to leave my review, so maybe it wouldn’t be so harsh. I am not one to leave bad reviews on a vacation unit. I always research and try to find nice places to stay. The rental unit itself was wonderful, beautifully decorated, had plenty of room and perfect location. On our second day there, I decided to do some laundry., using the washer/dryer unit in the vacation home only to find out the dryer did not work. I called Gibson Beach Rental office to report and was told someone would be out that evening. No one ever came. I called the next morning and reported it and again, was told someone would come. We went to the beach, came back and still nothing. I called again and two ladies were sent out (I assume they were housekeeping ladies). They of course didn’t fix it and it remained NOT working the entire week we were there. I called daily, leaving multiple messages, which never got a return phone call. We always pack lightly on vacation if we know we are going to have a washer and dryer. Also, as a family of 5 we went through all of the towels pretty quickly. On the day I finally got through to someone, I was told they would pick our laundry up if we left it on the bag and they would wash and return it. No way in **** was I gonna trust them w our laundry when we couldn’t even get a return phone call back or more importantly a service call to fix the dryer. I told them no. I requested some clean towels. I was very frustrated at this point and let them know it. Later that evening we were left 4 clean towels....and as I said earliar..:we were a family of 5. Customer service was the worst I have ever had on vacation!! On our last day I called and finally got to speak to the manager. I unloaded a week full of frustration on him (which is not typically me to complain). He was very apologetic and I did get a small portion of my money refunded for the inconvenience. We rented in Tivoli because we were celebrating a friend’s birthday who lives in Beachside 1. A golf cart was to be included with our rental. The afternoon we arrived we were told the golf cart was in the shop. We were not able to rent a cart. So, we had to drive our vehicle.

Upon our arrival, Tivoli Terrace was very clean and bigger in person than we thought from the pictures! We all had plenty of space to spread out. Each bedroom has its own bathroom. And to our surprise, the main floor has a full bathroom with a shower which we didn't expect. The cleaning staff does a fantastic job. The house is very well decorated and organized. In the garage we found several beach chairs and fun noodles for the pool and or beach. The golf cart was in good condition. Really enjoyed riding over to Baytowne Wharf and across the street to the beach. Makes things very convenient for both. The outdoor pool is practically in your backyard. Only steps away. I would highly recommend this rental. You won't be disappointed.
