This place is awesome! Very secluded and private- be prepared to need a car wash because it's on a dirt road! The house was VERY clean. We booked it for our family of 8 adults and 1 baby because we had a local wedding and it was perfect!

Family Stay

Love the remote property…everything about it. Has everything you need to enjoy a country vacation.Perfect for our family group of 6 to visit nearby relatives. This is our 3rd return visit here. Owner very friendly and helpful. We will return.

Off the grid, but 2 bars on my phone...

We enjoyed our stay. Although, there was a bit too much construction on site over the weekend for complete peace and quiet during the day. The fire pit was great, the beds were comfortable, and the stars were awesome.

Great rustic cabin in the woods

If you are looking for a rustic getaway this is the cabin! It was very clean and spacious. The upstairs loft was awesome! The owner was very accommodating & friendly. Close to the snowmobile trails. We would definitely rent again and recommend to others!

Mini Vacation

Very remote, no internet or phone access (TMobile). Wonderfully quiet location. Cabin is spacious and provides all the amenities we needed. Owner is nice and responds quickly. We would stay again.

Great place!

The property is on a secluded and beautiful area of the north woods. Lots of wildlife including bears, elk, and birds. We couldn’t hear any traffic - very peaceful. Lots of room inside and out for our group of 10. We went to ride on utv trails and had a great time! Owners are awesome!

Awesome family time.

We loved the cabin and remote location. The beautiful fall trees were an added bonus that we hadn’t expected to enjoy yet. We were so close to our relatives’ home, which is why we were visiting Wisconsin. Everything was perfect and just what we wanted. Thank you to Shan and Terry, wonderful hosts. We want to bring our kids and grandkids back to enjoy it!

Great family getaway

We stayed at the cabin cottage with adult family members and absolutely loved it! We loved the quiet, country location and the cabin. We watched the bears eat, had a fire in the firepit, played cards and enjoyed visiting relatives in Kennan. Your rental was the PERFECT spot for us to visit, yet give relatives breathing room while we were there. The weather was perfect and we appreciate everything about the rental. We've already talked about coming back:) Thank you!

CLEAN & cozy - the perfect getaway cabin!

This cabin had EVERYTHING needed for a perfect stay! Beautifully decorated and so well kept and CLEAN - what a gorgeous place for a trip with friends or families with children of all ages. The communication was great but be prepared for little-to-no cell service during your stay...which we were ok with! We felt like the owners thought of everything to make sure our stay was as comfortable as possible, both inside and outside the cabin. Mr. Terry made sure we were totally satisfied. We really enjoyed the peacefulness of the outdoors!

Hidden gem

Remote location well laid out for a group stay in the country away from the hustle and bustle of city life. The owner was very attentive to making sure all needs were met. Would highly recommend!

Rustic Comfort

Six of my friends and I went up to this fine cabin to get away from the city for a while and play board games. This was the perfect location! There was plenty of space and lots of fire wood. Next time I'd like to go up during colder weather so we can make use of the wood burning stove! Highly recommeded.

Beautiful and peaceful

Peaceful cabin

From the second we pulled in, we were absolutely amazed. You have your own private and extremely quiet retreat, with an incredibly clean cabin. The fire pit with wood, was a hit with the whole family. The owner has thought of everything to make your trip enjoyable. Owner was there to help you with everything, and was so accommodating and friendly!! Sitting and watching the bears eat, was one of the many highlights from the trip. We had 3 families in our group, and we can’t say enough good thing about this cabin. Sleeping arrangements were plentiful and the loft was a nice surprise! Thanks again for everything! We will be back!
