Eldora Enchantment - Cabaña rústica de lujo

Te invitamos al histórico y modesto Happy Valley Lodge para experimentar una estancia rústica / de lujo en nuestra cabaña de troncos recientemente renovada de 100 años. Estamos ubicados en la pintoresca e histórica comunidad minera de Eldora, que se encuentra a pocas millas debajo de la División Continental en las Montañas Rocosas. La cabaña está ubicada en los árboles en un lote privado de acres y limita con Boulder Creek. Estamos a 3 millas de la peculiar ciudad de Nederland y a solo minutos de The Eldora Mountain Resort, nuestra colina de esquí local.

El pueblo de Eldora es una pequeña comunidad alpina que se encuentra a una altura de 8,700 pies y es la puerta de entrada sur hacia el área silvestre de Indian Peaks. Nuestra cabaña es el lugar perfecto para muchas aventuras, desde esquí de fondo, raquetas de nieve, senderismo y acampada. Esquí alpino, snowboard o esquí el Nordic Track en Eldora Mountain Resort, a minutos de la cabina. El Happy Valley Lodge también es un excelente lugar para relajarse, escapar del calor del verano y disfrutar de la belleza y la naturaleza de su entorno. National Forest rodea a la pequeña comunidad de Eldora por todos lados y no es inusual tener alces, venados y zorros caminando por el patio.

Explore la pequeña y terrosa ciudad de Nederland y sus tiendas y restaurantes únicos a pocos kilómetros de distancia. Boulder se encuentra a 35 minutos en automóvil por el pintoresco Boulder Canyon con sus imponentes paredes de roca. El Parque Nacional de las Montañas Rocosas está a aproximadamente una hora en coche y los pueblos mineros históricos de Blackhawk y Central City están a unos 30 minutos si quieres probar suerte en el juego.

A Very Hygge Winter Getaway

Our family of 4 truly enjoyed our time in Eldora. We especially liked cooking in the well-stocked kitchen, spending time together by the fire, playing cards at the table, and the drive to the ski hill was nice and short. We found the cabin to be very cozy and charming, the beds were very comfortable, and we appreciated the heated floors in the bathrooms.We hope to return one day.

Fall-licious!

This is our second stay at this wonderful property! The leaves were putting on quite a show and we hiked to the overlook of the town and were treated to an amazing view. We love visiting this quiet piece of paradise. Highly recommend!!

Genuine mountain experience

This cabin has been restored and updated beautifully with very chic Western decor. My sister and I each had our own bedroom and bathroom. We used the middle room to store our suitcases and travel packs (only the master bedroom has a closet). For the most part, we ate lunches and dinners out in Nederland, but the kitchen has plenty of cookware, a dishwasher and nice refridge. Guests are expected to remove their own recyclables and organic trash. Our host, Roxanne, was very responsive via text. I'm already plotting a return trip!

A great getaway cabin up in the mountains. Short distance fromNederland town for great food and drinks. The cabin is rustic but has all of the comforts of home and is beautifully decorated. Perfect combo for a mountain home. Cozy and inviting!

Serene, beautiful retreat

This property is an absolute gem - quiet, peaceful, beautiful, clean, and well-stocked. Everything we needed and more was provided by the host. We cooked delicious meals in the well-appointed kitchen, enjoyed reading in front of the fireplace (thanks to the generous supply of firewood), slept comfortably, and flyfished in the creek behind the cabin. Nederland is a 5-minute drive away when we needed to do some shopping. The host is responsive and helpful.We will definitely return.

Great stay at Happy Valley

Second time staying at this property. Never disappoints and Roxanne is a wonderful host. The area had received a massive amount of snow (56”) just days before we arrived. Roxanne made sure access to the property wasn’t an issue and her communication, as always, was prompt and thorough. Had a great, relaxing stay. Thanks again, Roxanne….we will be back soon.

Lovely Mountain Escape

My family absolutely loved our stay here. There was so much snow, my kids and dog played for hours outside. The inside of the cabin is incredibly warm and welcoming. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook all of our meals and the heated floors in the bathrooms were wonderful. Thank you so much for having us in your home, we will certainly be back!

A charming ski vacation log cabin

We stayed in Roxanne's place for 10 days, visiting our CU Boulder Freshman and skiing. On the second weekend our older son joined us as well, so we were the whole family with two young adults and everyone has a great time. The cabin is super well equipped, and even had sharpen knifes! It is located in a cul de sac in the small mining town of Eldora, surrounded by woods and nature, but close to both Eldora Ski resort and Nederland - both are a lot of mountains culture fun All an all the cabin has everything you need and nothing more, keeping it both very comfortable yet maintaining that log cabin feeling. Beautiful Colorado setting

My husband and I travelled to Colorado to brush up on our skiing at Eldora ski resort, which is about a 10 minute drive from the house. The property owner was so easy to work with. She sent all the home information in advance and was in touch prior to and during our stay. We have stayed in many VRBOs and we agree this is the most charming and well equipped home we have ever rented. You can not beat the woodsy Colorado setting. It is beautiful and I wish we were staying longer. It is apparent that the owner has put a lot of effort into making sure you have a wonderful stay. I would love to return again for skiing and also return in the summer. Thank you Roxanne for making your beautiful home available.

What a wonderful cabin!

This cabin is the best combination of history and renovation. It is so cute and comfortable! And even though it's completely renovated, it still holds its historic charm. The location is unbeatable. We were there to ski, and we just got right in line to get to the parking lot. It feels almost like cheating! Roxanne was wonderful to work with. We will be back!

True Cabin in the Woods!

This is an experience on its own! When you think of a peaceful retreat in the Colorado Mts. this is it! The entire cabin is the real the deal. The decor through-out is spot on for the cute cabin. This listing does not show great photos of the two bathrooms, but they are both large and adorable with heated floors, the living room furniture is beyond comfy for lodging, the sweet little kitchen has lots of stuff for cooking although we did not, the little ski town of Nederland is like 5 minutes from the cabin with several good places to eat so we ate there most days, New Moon Bakery is a must for breakfast treats, also Busey Brews was super good too for BBQ. Also you are super close to Boulder, so we ate there also. We skied at Eldora, which is literally like 5 minutes from the cabin, you're surrounded by the mountains in this location. The beds for the most part were comfortable, this would be a fun place to stay all year due to the fantastic proximity to so many things. We visited Blackhawk also while here, short 18 miles away, lots of casinos which we love, and the town itself is beyond cute! So many interesting and neat architectural designs there, built into the mountain side, so lovely. This was our 1st time to visit Colorado, we felt most people are very friendly here, we felt very welcomed. Our son may end up in college there, we are hoping he does so we can visit this area in the future, and the cute cabin! There's a reason this cabin has 5 stars across the board. ;)

This is actually our third time staying here and it’s just a magical place to get away. So tranquil with great hikes everywhere. The owner is so good to assure all things are in good shape. Can’t recommend this enough.

Definitely booking again!

We recently stayed at the Eldora Enchantment - Rustic Luxury Cabin and it was absolutely perfect for our family. After adventurous days, it provided a cozy retreat for us all. The cabin had well-appointed rooms that our 11 and 14-year-olds loved, complete with their own bathrooms. Stargazing at night was breathtakingly beautiful, easily my favorite part. A short walk led us to a creek with the clearest water. We hoped to spot some wildlife as other reviews mentioned, but that will just be another reason to return!

Eldora charm

This property was filled with rustic charm and ambiance! The furnishings were great, beds comfy and the sheets were so soft and comfy. All of the amenities were awesome. Everything that they could think of was provided. We had awesome response from Roxanne when we had any questions or concerns!! We could not have asked for a better hostess/owner of the property!!! We had a wonderful time there!!

Wonderful Cabin!

We absolutely LOVED our stay at Roxanne’s cabin!! It is perfectly nestled among aspen trees in the woods near a creek and is wonderfully relaxing! You are far enough from town to feel like you have your own space, but close enough to run into Nederland for dinner or exploring. The cabin is very tastefully decorated and we loved how it has its original cabin look/feel but completely updated inside. The kitchen is stocked with everything you’d need and everything was very clean. The beds were very comfy and after a full day of hiking, we looked forward to the beautiful shower. Bonus is the moose we saw right outside the bedroom window on our first morning! Don’t hesitate to book this cabin- we hope to be back one day!

Eldora getaway

Beautifully appointed cabin! Very clean and had everything one might need to enjoy a stay at this serene cabin located in the valley. Roxanne is a wonderful host. Easy, easy check-in/checkout. I have stayed at another location of Roxanne’s previous so I knew what to expect from start of process to end. Rustic luxury is how I’d best describe this property. The creek is the boundary to the backside of the property and can be heard from all parts of the property as well as inside the cabin with windows open. Relaxing and rejuvenating. Had a mule deer doe with young triplets in the yard the first night. Looking forward to a return to this great property!
