Wonderful place

One master suite, and three more bedrooms, allow for plenty of space for our family, comfortable beds and linens. Open floor plan adds to the ambience.

Great place! Easy to get around the area. House was clean, comfortable, and felt like home. Host was responsive and reached out at the and of the stay to see how things went. If i travel back to the area would certainly stay again.

Feeling at home in Hammond

My family and I truly enjoyed this spacious home in an ideal location. Owner was very responsible to any questions that we had. Will definitely consider this home on our next visit to the Midwest.

SWEET SPOT

Seldom does it happen that a VRBO far exceeds my expectations but this home really felt like a home and not just a house. Very comfortable and well decorated. More amenities that most kitchens.

Great location and spacious house

Enjoyed our stay in the roomy house that was a great location to see our family close by. We also took the train into Chicago one day which was great. The owner was kind enough to let us check in early and was a good communicator. All was as advertised in the listing. It was a nice neighborhood to take a walk in.

My family stayed in Hammond for my son’s Chicago wedding. Reception venue was at the Countyline Orchard in Hobart, IN. This location was central for all of our events.

Family Reunion Gathering in Hammond

Our stay was really nice…! We enjoyed our stay at the house. The house is located in a nice neighborhood. We would like to “highly recommend” ceiling fans and televisions in every bedroom and a television in the basement. The basement is very roomy but no television ☹️. The location of the house wasn’t far from Chicago. Very easy access to several restaurants and shopping areas ( close proximity).

Property was exactly as advertised . Well keep and spacious. Pictures don’t do inside justice. All areas were easily access by handicapped. Back patio was amazing. Have recommended this property to my friends in the area

Lovely Hammond Property

The Hammond house was very clean and spacious with 4 bedrooms, 2 full baths and living room. There were 5 adults in our party and we had plenty of room to spread out. The basement has a family room, half bath, and pool table. The kitchen is nice and stocked with all of the kitchenware we needed. We would definitely stay there again since we have family in the area.

Very dated property. Too many huge floral arrangements in every room. Carpets are dingy & dirty. Many electrical switches were not up to to building code. I felt the house was a fire hazard.

Beautiful!!!

This is an understatement....this home is gorgeous! The décor is beautiful! The main color is gray (like my home!) and the layout of the furniture compliments the rooms. The piano in the living room was a great surprise! The home has a man cave downstairs with a pool table! We didn't use the downstairs but it was nice to see. The bedrooms were decorated very nice and both bathrooms were nice in size. The home has electric fireplaces in the master bedroom and the living room. The home is so comfortable. The host was so generous that he gave me flowers for mother's day and had the fireplace in the master bedroom lit when i arrived! Blessings to the host and his family! I will definitely stay there again in the future.

Nice Place just outside of Chicago

We chose this property because it was about 40 minutes from Chicago. This was way more affordable for our family than getting two hotel rooms. The host made sure we had plenty of towels and communicated the do's and don't clearly. It made it a nice easy stay.

Lovely property and neighborhood with great amenities

We all were impressed with the look and cleanliness of the home and so were our visitors. In fact, some asked for the host info so they could book stays for themselves. Only complaint is that the pool table and baby grand piano are really just for show as neither is in condition to play. But everything else was spectacular!

Great vacation stay

The house was immaculate and very nicely decorated. It was spacious and had plenty of room for 5 of us. Jabar, our host, met us on arrival and showed us through the house. He gave us a couple of recommendations for restaurants in the area and the food was great at both. We had one question later that we called him about and he responded immediately. Wonderful place to stay and we would return another vacation in the area.

Let me start off by saying these pictures does this beautiful home no justice 🥰🥰! Very home like, clean, very spacious, beautiful decor, gorgeous ambiance in each room! Natural lighting is such a plus! Jabar is soooo nice and accommodating, very nice, very responsive, helpful, and courtesy! I have a few people asking me for information to book this beauty! My favorite is the master bed suite 🥰😍. My girls and I didn’t want to leave 😊😊! If you’re second guessing staying here you shouldn’t! Books NOW ☺️!

Spacious Home in Great Location.

Enjoyed our stay

We enjoyed the property and would stay again. Jabar was very responsive and helpful when we contacted him. The home is nice. It has some small items that if properly repaired would make the home excellent. We did feel the home could have been cleaned a little better, especially the floors. Otherwise, enjoyed our stay.

Perfect location

Our experience renting this property was amazing. The property was exactly as described and located in a quiet and beautiful neighborhood. Jabar was very responsive fo calls and text messages. Check-in was simple and effortless. It was the perfect place to relax and hang out when we weren’t doing anything with family or in Chicago. I personally loved the backyard and how absolutely serene it is. I can’t recommend this place enough.

Spacious home

Plenty of space for family. In good neighborhood. Host left basket full of snacks and waters. Coffee supplied. Host was very responsive when we called for extra towels and slow bathtub drain. Got the towels that day and plumber came next day for quick fix to tub. Very Pleased with that attention
