Beautiful, well-appointed home

This is our second time staying in this gorgeous home and will continue to be our preferred location for any trips to the Suncadia area. The home has everything our family needs and is so comfortable. We bring our pup along and really appreciate that dogs are welcome in this home and has eacsy access to so many outdoor spaces for dogs (and people ).

Girl's Getaway

My friends and I had a wonderful time at the Elk House. Beth made sure that all the directions were given to us early, and it was easy to access the home. Beth had left wonderful treats for us to enjoy, and the house was beautiful. She responded promptly to our questions and made the whole rental experience easy. We look forward to returning to Suncadia and enjoying another property in October. It was great!

Relaxing family time

Beautiful home, wonderful location in Suncadia. Easy walk to Swiftwater Winery. Quiet neighborhood, deer in backyard, snowfall and everything you could want for a getaway. Easy drive into towns of Roslyn and Cle Elum if needed. We will be back!

Very roomy and comfy. Everything worked and was top-line. Needed absolutely nothing as kitchen has just about everything you need; bedrooms were fully stocked with plenty of sheets, blankets and pillows. We fit 9 people very comfortably with plenty of room. Great family getaway!

Perfect Retreat

Ahhhh, we're recharged after a three day quilty retreat. Sew much fun, beautiful, peaceful scenery, coffee on the deck, unwinding (not just winding bobbins ;-) ) in the evenings, and so comfortable!

LOOK NO FURTHER!!

This home had EVERYTHING you can think of. Cozy, VERY clean and a stocked kitchen for cooking! I ended up putting my Keurig back in the car and used their coffee maker with fresh ground coffee. They even had my favorite coffee creamer which was a treat. Plenty of board games, kids had a ping pong tourney and we really appreciated the garage fridge for overflow. We enjoyed an amazing thunder storm while there and some beautiful warm weather with blue skies on our walks. My SIL even saw a black bear on his daily 15 mile run(far from the cabin). This was a perfect home for our family to gather and enjoy our new granddaughter. We will be back!

Wonderful, cozy home in Suncadia

This home was perfect for our two families. It was thoroughly clean and there was plenty of space for everyone. The home generously had everything we needed. Beth was incredibly responsive and kind. This is one of the best rentals and we would definitely want to stay again.

Great place, perfect location

10/10 experience, from communication to check-out. Our group of 7 had a fantastic time, and I was complimented constantly about my choice of housing. Can’t say enough good things about this place. Note, they even have Sonos, which isn’t advertised. Made our stay even better!

We spent our 10th anniversary with all our kids and a couple friends to go snowmobiling. The house was perfect, comfortable, and the hot tub to relax and the walking distance to the winery was amazing

Christmas get away

Fourth or fifth year in a Suncadia rental. The Elk House by far the nicest. Number one is location. Quite dead end street. Home was gorgeous, very welcoming with tree, music playing… all warm. Could not have been better equipped. All the small details that count when you need them. Truly appreciated and enjoyed. Thank you for sharing.

Wonderful Property

Excellent location. Walk to Swiftwater Cellars and Lodge. There is a property development behind the house, which was a surprise as the photos don't show this. House is extremely clean and well stocked with lots of luxury touches.

Beautiful home in wonderful location

Absolutely loved this home and would highly recommend to others! The home is incredibly well maintained and included so many extras that made for an enjoyable and relaxing stay. I know that post-COVID rentals are still being cautious with sharable items, but we really appreciated simply things like stocking coffee, cream, cooking oil, and basic spices. Additionally, the home contained every pan, plate, storage containers, etc. that made everything so easy for us. We had our 16 year old son and dog with us, but the home could comfortably hold more than one family. We loved the ping pong table, bikes, and hot tub. There is also a great park nearby with an off leash dog area, pickle ball, tennis, basketball, soccer fields, and volleyball. We really enjoyed the winery and learned that the winery and Stovehouse are dog friendly. Also took our dog to Dru Bru in Cle Elum. There is only one bathroom on the upper floor where most of the beds are located, but there is a huge master bath that could easily be shared as well as a 1/2 bath on the main floor. Beds were super comfy and all bed and bathrooms were well appointed (soap, shampoo, conditioner, extra toothbrushes and toothpaste in case you forgot them). This was definitely one of the best homes we have rented and would gladly return to on our next trip to Suncadia.

Fabulous family house!

WOW what an amazing house for a weekend getaway for our 2 families. Everything was fabulous, so clean, fully stoked and very comfortable! Excellent communication by the managers.

We fell in love with Suncadia over a decade ago and in 2016 said our vows at the Swiftwater winery. This home is well known in the VRBO and Suncadia community as a top place to stay in the upscale Black Nugget neighborhood and we are thrilled to be the new owners of the Elk House! Boasting with views of Tipple Hill, golf course, Swiftwater concerts (the spot where we were married), and walking distance to the winery and outdoor activities.

Our favorite spot is sitting in the backyard with the fire pit warming the air and watching the wild life (or snow) with a hot cup of coffee in the morning. Summer evenings provide a cool breeze and is perfect for enjoying a cocktail or glass of wine with friends and family.

This truly is our happy place and we hope you enjoy our home as much as we do!

Black Nugget Lane is a quiet community yet close to everything in Suncadia. Homes sit on large lots that offer a unique, more private experience. Wildlife sightings on the property are a daily occurrence. Year round you'll see deer, elk & wild turkeys. Winter-Spring our resident Great Horned Owls build their nest in a stag tree right in the front yard!
