Definitely recommend this place!

I definitely recommend Hattie’s Place Too to anyone going to Galveston Island! The owners of the property are so sweet and very timely on getting back to you! The house is so clean and cozy and it’s on a corner lot so you can park in the front or on the side which is nice. There is a balcony on the outside which I enjoyed because there is a view of some palm trees from the balcony. Seawall is within walking distance or a quick drive around the block! You have your privacy and everything you need as well! No one bothers you unless you need them and then they are right there! We left some bracelets there and the owners got them returned to us! I would give this house a 10 star rating if I could and would recommend it to anyone. We had a blast while we were there and didn’t want to leave! Also, there is a dollar store right down the block if you need anything and there is an awesome restaurant in the neighborhood as well. I loved the cable in the evenings and the comfortable bed as well as the awesome shower and tub! I would definitely stay here over a hotel any day and it amazed me how close it is to every store, restaurant and beach along Seawall! Thank you to Vern and Deborah for an amazing stay! We won’t forget you guys! 😊

Fun and unique family getaway home

Uniquely decorated early last century coastal home with great accommodations for our large family to visit and enjoy our weekend in Galveston. The back yard was great place to enjoy visiting and taking in beautiful landscaping. We had every thing we needed from linens to kitchen needs in each of the 4 apartments.

Really special and quaint home for families share time.

This home is truly a one-of-a-kind early last century comfortable home that allows different family units to have their own apartment, but each of the 4 units open into a hallway and staircase. The accommodations were clean and inviting! The period decor in each unit were uniquely different and we all visited each to experience their uniqueness. The backyard was beautiful, as well as the front yard with beautiful blooming bushes and trees. Bedding was very comfortable and pillows were abundant. Not only will we have lasting memories of our family wedding, but also of this special place for us to visit!

My family stayed here for our vacation and it was like being at home. The space was great and it was walking distance to the beach. The room was nicely decorated and had the full kitchens were a plus. Would definitely stay again.

The Next Vacation...Galveston and Hattie's Place Too

We had a marvelous visit to Galveston Texas while staying at Hattie’s Place Too. The vacation home had wonderful interiors, lots of amenities, very good service and excellent close by dining and beaches. We must recommend this vacation spot for its exquisite location and reasonably priced vacation rental.

This property was a life saver. The agent prepared it for us, within hours of the time needed. The place was cleaned and comfortable. The agent went out of her way to make the stay pleasant. The property has a warm feeling, more like home instead of a hotel feel. The room are colored not white. Small extras like bottle water, tissue, and paper towels were added conveniences. I would stay here again as well as recommend the facility to others. The beach was lots of fun.

HATTIES PLACE WAS GREAT LOTS OF AMBIENCE THE HOUSE IS WELL STOCKED WITH ALL YOUR BASIC NEEDS NICE YARD . IT IS ACTUALLY FOUR SEPERATE APARTMENTS , THE ONLY DRAW BACK FOR A LARGE GROUP IS THAT THERE IS NOT A LARGE COMMON AREA FOR EVERYONE TOGETHER , OTHER THAN THAT NO COMPLAINTS , IT IS CENTRELAY LOCATED TO EVERYTHING AND THE LIST AGEN OR OWNER WAS VERY NICE .

My 30th reunion with my sorority sisters was wonderful, thanks to Hattie's Place. We were thoroughly pleased and comfortable as each of the four units provided private accommodations - bedroom, TV, den, bath and full kitchen. The decor in each unit was unique, offering various themes. The neighborhood is nice, quite and safe. We were within walking distance of the beach and convenience stores. Everything we could ask for was right at our finger tips. Hattie's Place offers the comfort of a home instead of a hotel. At the conclusion of our stay, I truly felt rested and relaxed, even though we stayed up late into the night reminiscing about our time at Univ. of N. Texas. I would recommend Hattie's Place to anyone visiting and/or vacationing in Galveston. Two thumbs up!! I would most definitely return.

We love Hattie's Place to...

We love Hattie's Place too. Everything is so beautifully laid out. We were so close to the beach that we were able to walk there for our jog along the beach. It is conveniently located to everything. Hattie's Place, Too was a much need spiritual felt retreat. As I needed some me time between myself and God. It was exactly what I needed. I stayed in the V&J and loved my three day home away from home!
