Clare View COTTAGE is a free standing, 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom self contained holiday home with great views and wine theme.
Features:
Room configuration: Master bedroom with 1x Queen size bed + ensuite spa bathroom (includes spa and vanity only). Second bedroom with 2x single beds + 1 extra mattress
Main bathroom with vanity, shower and toilet
Open kitchen dining with huge woodfire
Lounge / TV room with couch & chairs
Shaded outdoor entertainment area / pergola
Perfect holiday home for: 2 couples or small families up to 4 (or 5) people or bigger (wedding) parties in combination with the Clare View HOUSE (sleeps 8) The HOUSE and COTTAGE can sleep up to 12 people in total.
Pets welcome after prior negotiation only and when complying with our pet policy. Surcharge applies.

Clare View Cottage

A nice small home, very cozy feel and easy to relax with the setting / views. Comms with the owner was poor and some instructions around the combustion heater would be nice. Also think it needs to be serviced as the airflow was restricted and was a constant battle to keep the fire going. Overall the stay was very nice and would definitely stay there again

Fantastic views, sensational getaway

Beautiful views from this clean and well appointed property. The building itself is simple, but has everything you need. a/c worked well in the heat, but the outdoor setting got the most use. It was a great place to relax after each day, is very close to a few wineries, and is only a short distance outside Clare. Communication with the host was good and all questions were answered. We were very happy and would stay again.

Overall, the experience was positive.

Positives: plentiful breakfast provisions; bacon, eggs, bread, orange juice, milk, cereals. Vegemite needs replacing! Spa was spacious Beds were comfortable Showers were hot. Quiet, serene property site, beautiful views, albeit in need of some clearing the yard at the side of the house. Dog friendly. Negatives: needs new curtains, blinds and posters, all quite tatty Need to get rid of the plastic grapes and flowers, and old dusty Christmas decorations, a few less cushions! There could have been a welcoming note/pack mentioning the wifi, near by restaurants, wineries, etc. Could have had a small fenced off area for the dog.

Very disappointing accommodation. Extremely overpriced for what is a very shabby transportable. Guests also receive an email offering discounts at local businesses which are not actually legitimate. This was a cause of some embarrassment, as well as a sense that the property owners do not have much respect for other businesses in the area.

Amazing views!

We stayed here over Christmas. We were happily surprised, the pictures don't do justice! The views of the cottage were amazing, it was very spacious in size and our 2 large dogs were made very welcome. The property has enough privacy which is great, on arrival we had chocolates, wine, eggs and bread-it was such a nice touch and probably the best we've ever had in any of the properties we've ever stayed in. Would recommend to anyone and would definitely stay there again.

Very relaxing stay

We really enjoyed our time at the Clare View Cottage and would have loved to stay for longer. It was quite cool at night so the spa bath and fire were perfect to warm us up. Thank you 🙏

Amazing stay

Thankyou so much for the cosy little house in the hill! The little extra touches were very much appreciated ie: chockies, milk, eggs, bread . It was peaceful and homely. We loved every minute of our stay. Thankyou
